In the 1950's our grandfather, Giacomo, came to live the American Dream. He moved from Saviano, Italy to live in Long Island, New York. He met his wife and started a family, opening their first location in Long Island, New York, named Village Pizza. As business flourished, we moved to a larger location and changed the name to Alfieri Brothers’ Pizzeria. Again, we outgrew the size of the restaurant and relocated to a larger side of the center where we have remained since 1991. The following year, Saverio Alfieri decided to head south and expand the family business by opening a location in North Texas. Since then, Saverio and his two sons, Anthony and Giacomo, have managed to create one of Dallas/Ft. Worth’s best kept secrets. The Alfieri family has and will continue to serve authentic Italian recipes perfected by Grandma Alfieri herself.

This was a family gathering of 8 adults: siblings, sisters- in- law, nieces, and their spouses. We are not able to get all together at one time very often, and this was a special occasion. Saviano’s restaurant was chosen as the place for our gathering because past experience has shown the quality of the food and service and of the restaurant itself. Our experience with the food and service and ambience lived up to its high reputation.

My son and I were in town for a baseball tournament and decided to go to this restaurant. We made a reservation for 7:45. We did not get seated until 8:15. Our waitress was pretty good. It was very loud in the restaurant. The food was delicious. We had the toasted ravioli for an appetizer. I had the lobster ravioli and my son had a pizza. Both were great.

This place is great every time we go (usually a special occasion or meeting family). The reservation online was simple. We tend to sit in the same area with curved booths which we enjoy and though our usual server is no longer there, the one we had was fantastic. She told us about appetizers that are not on the menu and the shrimp one was fantastic. A crowd pleaser for all, even a picky teenager that branched out and enjoyed something new.

Restaurant gets crowded and a little chilly(take a sweater). The food is good but could have been a little hotter. Drink order was slow-told the bar was backed up.

Only 1 server and he was forgetful had to wait on napkins and salt and pepper. Then when are final bill came he tried to charge us 20% on each of our tickets. Then I questioned and he said oh they put the other table on the ticket as well. We had 6 they had like 8. He did go and take it off. Also there’s a 10% sales tax. That seemed high.

Saviano's is always amazing. I work near the restaurant and have enjoyed several team lunches there over the years. My wife and I have also enjoyed date night at Saviano's. The food and service are always outstanding. We recently celebrated 2 birthdays with a large party and the server was amazing and created a wonderful experience. They have a very friendly GF menu as well. I highly recommend them!

Love the food here. Has been reliably great ever since we started coming. Large portions can be split. Anything we have tried has been delicious. Can be noisy and hard to maintain conversations. Most recently piano player was quieter and nice background music. Summer air conditioning required that a majority of guests needed a warm sweater to avoid freezing. Service excellent - staff works hard when busy which it usually is.

Our meals were very good. Mozzarella sticks were ok. The calamari was not very good. The breading on it was very heavy. We ordered cosmos and sent them back - not good at all, they had no flavor. I replaced my cosmo with a Riesling white wine - that was very tasty. Garlic knots they serve were delicious. You must remember to bring a parka to the dining room as the temperature in there was freezing. The bar area room temperature was very comfortable. Our server was pleasant and attentive.
