The food and drinks were really good. I would say our waiter was good, service was a little slow, but they were really busy. Only glitch was we were not able to get a reservation on Saturday because of football, but I was able to get one on Sunday. When we showed up the host shamed us for making a reservation on Sunday, as they do not accept them that day. As this was a glitch on someone else’s end, not ours, it was pretty uncool. He was able to seat us as they had an open table. It was disgusting, but he came right back and cleaned it. It’s very loud as they have several football games playing and fans cheering or jeering. People were being respectful of others opinions, so that was good. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend.

The restaurant was pretty empty. We were sat upstairs all by ourselves. It took an extremely long time for our waiter to greet us and take our order, even longer to get our food.( nothing special just burgers and queso dip) . Food wasn’t great. By the time our food got to us my queso obviously had been sitting a while, it was warm not hot with the skin film on top.

Either they are way understaffed or service is not a principle of their service. Waited over 20 minutes for a server to greet the two of us. That interaction was dismissive at best. The table was not clean and nothing crushes your appetite more than when you pull your arm up from the table and it sticks to some unknown substance left there. Ordered a salad and sandwich which took over 40 minutes and we were able to watch a 4 top arrive after us, order, receive their meal and finish their meal before we got our dinner. Second time there with the same level of service each time, will not be a third time nor would I recommend them,.

We randomly chose to make reservations at the Taphouse. We were greeted by a friendly lady who showed us to our table. We really loved the sporty ambiance. Our waiter took our drink order and gave us time to decide what we wanted to order for dinner. We ordered fish and chips, mushroom swiss cheese burger, pasta with chicken and chicken cordon bleu. We all remarked how delicious everything tasted. We will definitely eat here again.

Our issue with this place is that it is described on their Google listing as "Lively, industrial-chic tavern" when in fact it is a loud sports bar. Coming here with a crowd to watch a game or 2? Great place! Looking for a chic tavern or something a little more upscale? Maybe not. Service from our harried waitress was extremely friendly. Food was ok to good. Don't think we will be back unless we were coming specifically for the sports bar experience.

Food was really good! Bartender makes excellent drinks. Went twice. Once with no reservation and once with a reservation. Would definitely go back again!

The service and food were terrific but except for the #7 bumblebee Steelers jersey, there is no way to even know that Ben is an owner, which is what drew us there in the first place. You are missing out on the drawing power of the “Steeler Nation”!
