   I was disappointed with our meals. I lived in North Carolina and I had loved the southern food. I thought I could get that experience close to my new home area but no such luck! The hush puppies were dry. The chef forgot the cheesy grits that were supposed to come with the beef brisket. When they did come they were dry and not creamy and cheesy at all! They were out of the ribs I wanted to order. It was my birthday dinner so it made it all the More disappointing!

   Sorry to say...I have never given a negative review, but here it goes. Pre-Theatre dinner. Got there at 5:30 on a Saturday, the first words from servers mouth was two of their major dishes were out. When our order of barbecue chicken finally arrived which 3 of us ordered, it was very very dry and burnt and was uneatable. The grits were so dry you could barely get them on the fork. The kitchen staff/cooks were very harried and the servers could do nothing but apologize. They did not offer any money off of the meal. We will never go back. Would never recommend.

   Four of us went and only one out of four got what they wanted as they were out of items. Even was stated that some items had not been available for a few weeks.

   Meat was good. However, it could have been warmer - it came out lukewarm. Sid3 dishes need major improvement, vegetables were undercooked and potato salad was drenched in way to much sauce.

   Over all this was a nice dining experience we came with family to celebrate a 50th birthday our one disappointment was slot of food on the menu was not available

   Super friendly and welcoming staff. Good food! However, a lot of what my friends and I wanted to order wasn't ready because it was still in the smoker and would be there for a few hours. Maybe better for dinners rather than lunches, so the full menu is available. Overall, it was an good meal that my friends and I enjoyed.

   Made reservation but when we arrived, restaurant was closed with note on door "Closed today for private function." This same note had been on the door about 2 weeks previously. Another review on Trip Advisor tells of someone else who had had the same experience.

   Superb personalized service! Excellent value (blackened catfish at $18.95 is a steal in my opinion). Definitely themed food and I loved the summery feel of the decor and open windows. Will be interesting to see how this feels when snow is falling...maybe wonderful!

    Food was excellent- out of town folk raved about it. Excellent mac and cheese and potato salad side dishes. Good portions but they don't give you a ton of food just for the sake of it. It is a new eatery that has some small issues. No Pastry Chef, so no dessert. They didn't tell us until dessert time- this was a bit of a disappointment since we were looking to get some dessert. and they gave us a table for 5 instead of 6 which the reservation clearly showed. So we were a little closer to each other than we wished. If they work hard to fix the small things, the food will stand out and it is worth going back. The small hiccups in the new restaurant won't stand in our way of going again.
