Sauciety at The Westin National Harbor
Very good food and service. Best restaurant week experience at the National Harbor for 2019.
What a great choice. Service was excellent, as was the food.
good, but they called me before reservation to say kitchen would close 15 minutes after we got there and that the check needed to be all on one tab and with the person who made the reservation. kind of inconvenient and not thoughtful to tell us right before the reservation. we ended up pushing our reservation earlier to give the guests more time.
Everything was wonderful! All we encountered were very friendly, especially our server, Maritza! She was amazing. Very personable, attentive, and always checking in on us. The food and drinks were delicious! Especially the crab eggs benedict. It was a great experience all around. Will definitely return often for brunch!
Christmas... family brunch
We were there for the evening at the Gaylord and wanted a nice restaurant with good food. This was the place. The food was delicious p. The service was amazing and we had a very nice time.
I should have known when on a Friday night there was no one there. Food was pretty bad and my husband ended up with an upset stomach.
Fairly standard hotel brunch offerins. The service was quite nice. The food was okay, but I have enjoyed better Westin food experiencs. It was a rainy, foggy day so the excellent view was less than hoped.
Sat us in the middle of the floor, had to listen to the waitresses argue about which tables were theirs. Had to send my eggs Benedict back, my poached eggs were still raw, so much so that I got sick after we left. Terrible experience.
Not worth the money.
Had breakfast/brunch there on a Sunday morning. Our server was wonderful (Dyinga-sp-) and the food was perfect.
This restaurant and the environment is very underwhelming. The food was decent but nothing spectacular and it is overpriced. For 4 people, I ended up paying $90 for brunch. Not worth it!
Sauciety is a breakfast favorite every time we go to the national harbor!
I really appreciate how attentive the staff was. It was a real enjoyable brunch with my family. You will definitely be getting another visit from us.
Keep up the outstanding work.
I've been three or four times now. I love lunch and brunch. The menu isn't lengthy, but the food is flavorful and delicious. And the waiters and waitresses are personable.
I made reservations for my 21st Birthday dinner for a party of 10 at 7:30pm on November 10th. The menu is a decent size, the food is great, and the space itself is very aesthetically pleasing. The waiter for our table (I wish I could recall his name) was kind, attentive and pretty much the only person in the restaurant that was attentive to our table. The waiter, food, and ambiance are the only reason I am giving the experience 3 stars at all.
While my party was late I do feel as though we were not treated with the respect that paying customers should be treated. I called to inform the restaurant of our tardiness but I am not sure that the message was relayed. The restaurant was quiet and in no way was it "busy" enough for any issues to have been caused pertaining to my group being tardy; I saw several empty tables to accommodate my group size already set. Once we arrived, there was not a host at the host table and when I tried to catch someone just in passing they blatantly ignored me and it took several minutes for anyone to acknowledge myself or my party.
Once the host (an older woman) arrived to the host table she then pulled up my reservation and asked if my full party was present. I proceeded to tell her that we had a total of 8 of the 9 guests present and that 1 person was no longer coming. She made a smart remark about the original reservation being for 10 people and was obviously annoyed, for which I did not see the relevance.
I can say that I am thankful for the server I had because he is the reason I enjoyed my dinner because the host and others were not pleasant. I do not like to assume but I will say that maybe because we were a group of young adults that they did not want to treat us the same because of a stigma or bias? We are still paying customers. I did not appreciate the way that myself and my group was greeted. Thank you again to my waiter, you made my 21st special!
We had a great birthday brunch celebration for our dad. The ambiance was nice. The food was excellent and our server Digna was great too. We'll definitely be going back.
The Food Portions was good. My husband enjoyed his pancakes but, my waffles was hard, crumbly, falling apart & very dry. Our bacon was not hot.
Enjoyed dinner with a view of the Capital Wheel. We had the crab cakes, the blackened catch of the day and whole wheat pasta. The flavors were all better than the descriptions on the menu. Our kind server was knowledgeable, efficient and made our dining experience a very pleasant one. Although the restaurant was empty when we arrived, it filled up during the course of the evening. This place seems to be a hidden gem almost hidden in the Westin Hotel.
Went there twice. First time there was not enough help. Lots of empty tables, but not enough servers so had to wait to be seated 15 minutes. Second time, we were seated right away, but it was so incredibly quiet. They should consider piping in music. Food was great though. We had a wonderful breakfast!
We had a party of 11 and they were ready for us when we arrived!! Thr restaurants hospitality was great! Our server was VERY patient with us, waiting to jump in mid conversation to take out food and drink orders. We were a bit of a loud bunch, a 30yr elementary class reunion, so we were very excited to see each other.
The view was gorgeous, looking directly at the ferris wheel and Potomac River, and the restaurant was very bright and had a wa atmosphere!
Excellent food. Enjoyed the view of the Potomac River.
This was my first time dining at the Sauciety restaurant and I must say I quite enjoyed every minute of it. I treated my three sister's for their birthdays and two of my nieces came along, they all enjoyed their meals, the atmosphere and the great time that we shared. It's also a friendly environment, several of the other guest join in to sing the Happy Birthday song to my sisters. We had great fun and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back!
We had a get together and waited untilthe last minute to decide (picky eaters!!). Sauciety was one of the few restaurants available for 6 people on a Friday night. The dinner menu is small, but the food was delicious—better to have a small menu with well prepared items than a large menu and food items are so-so. The cocktails are flavorful and delicious! Service was excellent and our server recommended drinks and dinner items. He also answered all of the questions from the pescatarians at the table. Very quiet atmosphere and located in the Westin overlooking the wheel and marina. We did see the brunch menu online and THAT looks incredible. We will be back!
Sauciety is a very nice restaurant, with good food, but the sun shines into the entire restaurant in the late afternoon and makes dining without being blinded very difficult. Dine after dark.
LOVE the brunch here! I can’t wait to return!
Took a friend here for a birthday dinner. I had been previously and it afforded us the opportunity to choose from many great things. It’s a hidden gem and priced reasonably for all of what you receive. One of my new favorite spots!!
Service was OUTSTANDING!!! Everyone enjoyed all of the food and their drinks had kick, flavor, and priced just right. Nice views from the window.
Very good food and very filling.
Had a great time with great service. Will definitely go again and will recommend to others.
The service and the food were both great! We are seated at a table with a view of the water. We were celebrating our 45th Wedding Anniversary and we really enjoyed ourselves.
The view was awesome and the food good, They were under staffed but the manager stepped in to help out.
The only thing lacking was the decor... it was a little sterile..
The food was just okay, our waitress left us alone at the table for a very long time. She was nice but we could use some coffee or water for while we wait.
The food tasted alright, nothing out of the ordinary and definitely not for the quoted price. But we understand why it is expensive there just because it’s in the national harbor.
Overall experience was so so just like any typical restaurant.
Staff was very nice. Got the crab cakes, bottoms were burnt, wasn’t good at all. Only finished one. Shrimp cocktail was good.
I went for breakfast with my brother, who is visiting with our mom, I got the Chesapeake omelette (real lump crab meat)with an English muffin and decaf, and my brother got the pancakes with chicken apple sausage with fresh OJ. Also got the same omelette with decaf to go for my mom. Everything was superb; my brother described his meal as “delicious” and my mom said she had no words — it was that good. The view of the Potomac was lovely too and the service was terrific. We’re all very pleased! Thank you. 😊
Great place. Really loved the place and food. Great view
We were very pleased with our service. Wait staff we very attentive, even during a busy morning breakfast. The food was quite good. Menu options will have something for everyone. Thank you!
If you are attending a convention at National Harbor and need a quiet spot for a business breakfast or lunch, this is the spot. Good food, service and view, as well as only a few others in the restaurant. This was a real find and my clients liked being away from the hustle and bustle of the convention center.
The ambiance was beautiful and the seating was amazing but the waitress was not welcoming, didn’t introduce herself like the other waiters didn’t check on the table and I had to get another waitress to assist me and I left early due to that
Service was excellent! Our server Tony was very attentive. Great food, great vidw of the Harbor, great atmosphere.
