BBQ Brisket Melt
chopped brisket tossed in tin roof, sharp cheddar, sauteed onion and applewood bacon on texas toast
the classic sundae - served with candied walnuts, chocolate sauce and topped with house-made whipped cream - contains walnuts
The "Plucked" Fried Chicken Sandwich
jalapeno sweet heat slaw, dill pickle and pluck sauce on a soft potato bun
Not good bbq. Burnt ends should have been called “burnt up and dried up” Brisket itself was gray in color.. lifeless, overcooked to death.
Great service, attentive server. Good good as always. No complaints
Will be back to watch Sunday NFL with the all the TV's!
Great food, we ate there twice in three days. Hush puppies and grits to write home about.
Great food, great service, great drinks.
Kevin was amazing!!!!!
They really know BBQ. Very tasty and great selection.
We had the ribs, pork belly burnt-ends and brisket melt. All very good - we especially loved the ribs. They have a good selection of sides. The sweet potato casserole was delicious, but the cornbread was a little dry.
They have ax-throwing starting at 3pm so this is a fun place to go with friends or unique date.
Birthday! Awesome service—delicious food. Excellent!
Tasty, great drinks. Somewhat overpriced however, and has a “bro” atmosphere that’s too frat for me. Liked the outdoor area.
Had a nice time. Service and food always great
Yummy! I got the mango Jalapeño Mule and the Hyphy Hiefer - both delicious
I'll start by saying the food was amazing. Everyone at our table was ooohing and aaahhing as they ate. The Bahn Mi with burnt pork tips was off the charts. Yum! But the service was meh. Perhaps because we weren't ordering expensive cocktails? I don't know. But we were rushed into ordering drinks and apps *as we were sitting down*. I had to tell the waiter that we'd never been there before and didn't actually know the menu. Then rushed into ordering the meal. Then the bill was placed on the table while we were still eating our food. I mean, the menu is $20-$40 per item, it's not a fast food joint. We left full, but definitely not happy that we were rushed through a birthday dinner.
Food was great and so was service. A little loud.
The food was amazing! The server was ok. I love to come to Sauced BBQ to celebrate special occasions
Food was great however server could have been better. We told her it was our first time. She said ok did not explained how it menu works or what are the assorted sauces on our table. Then we saw her across our table explaining each type sauce. Never asked/offered if we wanted drinks refill or dessert after our meal. She looked very occupied with the big group across us and was just rushing to check on us.
Food was great. Noise level far too loud and distracted from experience.
Dinner out with my husband and our boys. Football and Basketball on big screen TVs was great for them!
My 1st time here and I never wanted to leave. We ended up finding a 2nd one to go to after the 49er game and had dessert. Found out there's a spot at Levi's stadium too!! We could have... and would have eaten at @ Saused 3 times in a day...lol.. I could eat here everyday for the rest of my life and be fatnhappy!
First time at Sauced , food was good , pricing was okay. Service was great though, friendly staff and server kept making sure we had everything we needed.
Lucilles was not very specific in their process for a waitlist and were actually impolite in their tone. Opted to reserve a table at Sauced 30 minutes after the Lucilles rebuff, and enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you for a specific process around reservations, excellent service, and wonderful food. Very pleasant. A little loud, but bearable.
Absolutely love this place food was great as well as the service
Great food and drinks, nice place, service can be slow but enjoyed the bbq food alot
We were sat very fast. Our waiter was very pleasant & helpful with opinions on food/drinks & even took the time to explain the sauces. Definitely will be returning!
All we could hear was the axe throwing game! It was like eating in a construction zone. Not again.
I was looking for a place where a large party could sit outside (thanks to Covid) and this popped up on my screen. Great menu choices. The service was TOP notch. There was a small screw up on our order and they took care of it immediately. I recommend!
Excellent food and drinks. The sound of the ax throwing was a bit loud and distracting.
Great service. Good food. Great and imaginative cocktails!
One dinner was delivered way after rest. A server (not ours) came up and asked if we were missing a meal. At that point we received the final dish.
Fun atmosphere with great BBQ choices and sauces to try. Lots of beer on tap and you can try your hand at Axe throwing in cages like batting.
Our server was fantastic and we had a very enjoyable evening! This is one of our favorite places in the area!
1st time at this establishment-
Amazing food and staff. Would Definitely recommend
I was so happy about everything about this visit! I made a reservation for 10 people for outdoor because that was the only option. When I went inside, I checked in and I asked the hostess if it’s possible to sit inside because it was so cold outside. She was able to make that happen and I felt so relieved because we had 5 kids with all of us. The waiter we had was amazing and so helpful! He was so nice and so consistent with everything we asked for. I honestly wish I could remember his name and the hostess names. What a feat experience! We are from out of town and was on the way home from a Giants game. A great way to end the night here! Thank y’all so much Walnut Creek SAUCED!!
Great bbq and excellent ambiance. Service is amazing as well.
Ordered the Nachos, and there wasn’t much of the white queso sauce so I asked for more…and they charged me $2.29 for small container. I thought that was ridiculous.
Horrible and very very overpriced BBQ. Really the worst we've ever had. So disappointing. NEVER TRY THIS PLACE!
Chrisr, We're very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your meal here the last time you were in. We do our best to make sure that all meals are leaving the kitchen hot and fresh for each guest. We hope to hear from you soon so that we can so our best to address the issue and make sure this is not a regular issue. The Sauced Family
Good food, good beer selection. Chair are really uncomfortable outside. A bit noisy. Friendly service. Good for large groups outside.
Overall I thought the visit was fair. For the food I had the brisket which was very good, and the ribs which were not so good (dry, a lot of gristle). The cornbread was very dry and is not served with anything like honey/butter. The service was also just fair. They brought out the food but did not check that everyone received their order so one person was left with no food; after 10 more minutes she had to go back and check on it herself. It was sitting in the kitchen.
The waiter was nice, helpful and attentive. It was cold and we were sat by the door. Okay for me but my mom is 82 and it was crowded, so asking for a different table wasn’t possible. The baked beans were excellent and so were the cheesy grits. The brisket burnt ends and the ribs didn’t have the smoky taste were used to from other bbq joints. It was good but tasted more like oven bbq. I would probably go back. But the prices are really high. 2 drinks, an appetizer and 2 meals was $100. That’s far too high for bbq.
