Great service!!! Good food and drinks. Our server was wonderful
The food was outstanding. I do not know of a lot of great BBQ places in the Bay Area, but this did not disappoint. I had the double meat plate with the brisket and ribs, with the Buffalo Mac and sweet potato casserole as my sides. I’m looking forward to returning to try the rest of the menu.
Prices seem a bit high.
I like the drink happy hour;)
We were looking forward on getting the pork belly ends but they ran out
Prices have definitely increased. The food was not as good as last time. Just seemed like they slopped it into the plate. It was expensive before but now with smaller sloppy portions snd a big jump in prices I am not sure I will be back. It’s too bad. It used to be a family favorite.
Love the food ! Our waitress was amazing, I forgot her name but that you for being patient with my family. I don’t remember her name, I feel so bad but I remember her telling us she had recently got married & we all admire her gorgeous ring. Always a great place to mingle & have fun. Thank you sauce crew !
Great food, friendly and fast service! Highly recommend!
The food and atmosphere was absolutely amazing as always! We are never disappointed!
4 adults, 2 teenagers and 1 child…why did the child’s food not only come out last but 12 minutes after everyone else’s food?
Great place to watch a game! Fun vibe. GO GIANTS!
Great BBQ with very slow to start service that improved once we finally got some attention. The inside space has an open warehouse feel that can be ear-splittingly noisy.
It was amazing the server was attentive and kind, we enjoyed the vibe for sure
The food was delicious. Our server was friendly and efficient. They provided a dessert for my husband's birthday.
We were there for Axe throwing and dinner with a party of 10. Reservations have to be handled separately and through two different systems. It appears to be up to the customer to coordinate the two.
The staff seemed disconnected and while we had fun axe throwing, the “dedicated” staff seemed disinterested after walking through each participant for a few initial throws. The restaurant also made a huge deal about vaccination status and proof, only to have absolutely no one check any of the party at any time.
Half-way though our axe throwing, I received a text message to call the restaurant regarding the dinner reservation. They seem to not realize that we were already checked-in. And even though I walked to the reception desk and explained we were all there, the table was still being put together at the time we were seated.
The food service was a bit sloppy. It was kinda what one might expect from a low-end bar service. As food came out, staff had to call out the items to determine who had what, using their names for their food items (as if we had remembered the cute names for the entrees). Presentation was sloppy, with utensils wrapped in paper napkins simply dropped in the center of the table. Also, give the size of the table, there should have been two carriers of their sauces.
For all of their talk about their BBQ, it was average at best. The food was over-reliant on their bottled sauces. The brisket I received was dry and would have been inedible without first bathing in the sauce. The mac n cheese was bland; no one even finished their servings. The corn bread was OK, but also had little flavor. All-in-all, there seemed to be little pride put in the food, as it all appeared way too assembly-line prepared.
There are too many other good BBQ places in the area to consider this place. Basically, the food had no flavor unless you were looking for the flavor of the bottled sauce. And frankly, the sauce was watery and generic.
Good place. Decent vibe. Great food
Excellent food and service. Very tender meats Good choice of sauces. Although some at our table felt that the meats did not require additional sauces. Excellent sides, with particular mention to the slaw.
The waiter was great. All the staff were friendly. The food was very good. I had the mango jalapeño Moscow mule! Yum
For a birthday treat there was fried Oreos. Decadent!!! Thanks
Excellent BBQ. Great selection of cocktails & rotating beer taps. Axe Throwing for fun too! Very friendly & professional staff.
Great service. Great food, large portions. Always leftovers for another meal at home.
Everything I tasted was delicious, but sweet and fatty. This place is not for the health conscious. Appetizer of brussels sprouts had pork belly and a very sweet sauce. My entree had sweet potato that could have been a dessert. My grits were loaded with cheese and butter. My brisket was a mix of slightly dry to excessively fatty and everything in-between. The Oreos were fried and covered in more sugar. This is a splurge once a month type of place to protect your waistline and your arteries!
We ordered Brussel sprout appetizer, loaded sweet potato with burnt ends, burnt end dinner with sweet potato casserole and St Louis Ribs with Cole slow and corn bread. All were fantastic. But standouts we’re the Brussel sprouts Ribs Cornbread and jalapeño coleslaw. We will definitely be back.
Celebrated my son’s 21st birthday here! Was a great experience! We sat in the bar area (very fitting for a 21st bday) service was excellent! Very attentive. Yummy food, fantastic drinks! They brought out a super delicious dessert for him (fried Oreos and vanilla ice cream)!
Casual, fun atmosphere. Food was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Nice experience.
We had a party of 6. This was the first time for some (3rd for me). Service was great, wait staff was attentive and friendly. Food came out in timely manner. Nice that table was large enough of all of us to spread out and not be crammed together. Nice to be able to sit outside also.
Not good bbq. Burnt ends should have been called “burnt up and dried up” Brisket itself was gray in color.. lifeless, overcooked to death.
Great service, attentive server. Good good as always. No complaints
Will be back to watch Sunday NFL with the all the TV's!
Great food, we ate there twice in three days. Hush puppies and grits to write home about.
Great food, great service, great drinks.
Kevin was amazing!!!!!
They really know BBQ. Very tasty and great selection.
We had the ribs, pork belly burnt-ends and brisket melt. All very good - we especially loved the ribs. They have a good selection of sides. The sweet potato casserole was delicious, but the cornbread was a little dry.
They have ax-throwing starting at 3pm so this is a fun place to go with friends or unique date.
Birthday! Awesome service—delicious food. Excellent!
Tasty, great drinks. Somewhat overpriced however, and has a “bro” atmosphere that’s too frat for me. Liked the outdoor area.
Had a nice time. Service and food always great
Yummy! I got the mango Jalapeño Mule and the Hyphy Hiefer - both delicious
I'll start by saying the food was amazing. Everyone at our table was ooohing and aaahhing as they ate. The Bahn Mi with burnt pork tips was off the charts. Yum! But the service was meh. Perhaps because we weren't ordering expensive cocktails? I don't know. But we were rushed into ordering drinks and apps *as we were sitting down*. I had to tell the waiter that we'd never been there before and didn't actually know the menu. Then rushed into ordering the meal. Then the bill was placed on the table while we were still eating our food. I mean, the menu is $20-$40 per item, it's not a fast food joint. We left full, but definitely not happy that we were rushed through a birthday dinner.
Food was great and so was service. A little loud.
The food was amazing! The server was ok. I love to come to Sauced BBQ to celebrate special occasions
Food was great however server could have been better. We told her it was our first time. She said ok did not explained how it menu works or what are the assorted sauces on our table. Then we saw her across our table explaining each type sauce. Never asked/offered if we wanted drinks refill or dessert after our meal. She looked very occupied with the big group across us and was just rushing to check on us.
Food was great. Noise level far too loud and distracted from experience.
