We were sitting next to the Ax Throwing Cage and let's just say that the pounding of the axes hitting the side of the wooden cage made for a not so quiet dining experience.

Our waitress was very pleasant but we had to ask for her when we needed refills and such because she never checked on us. We were sat right next to the axe throwing which was cool to watch but quite noisy. I would recommend and I would definitely go back just hoping for a different waitress next time.

                                                                                                                                                The restaurant offers 4 different sauces at the tables, which is really nice so you can choose what sauce you want on your meat, sides, etc. I ordered the combo plate with Ribs and Pork Belly Burnt Ends. They were all cooked to perfection, but they put sauces on them already. The sauce on the ribs was OK, but the sauce on the ends was too spicy for me and I could not finish them. I would much rather have the perfectly done meat delivered to the table and then let me choose what sauce to add since the choices are there at the table already.

                                                                                                                                                This restaurant is one I like to go to with friends and family on special occasions as it is rather expensive. For appetizers we had the Brussel sprouts, brisket chili with corn bread along with a 22oz draft and watermelon margarita. Everything was really good but within 5 minutes, the main 3 meat combo dinner arrived. So that sat there until we were done with the abundant appetizers. Of course the meat was cold by then which is the main reason for my only 3 star rating. We’ve had this problem before at Sauced so we deliberately ordered the main course after the appetizers arrived. IMO, they serve the main course way too quickly. Seems like the kitchen only has to scoop the portions onto the plate and then hurry it out there. Next time I won’t order the main course until the appetizers are long gone since I hate to see a $40+ meal sit there getting cold. The 3 meat combo ordered was pork and beef burnt ends and the ribs. It was good but I can only wonder how it would taste hot.

Relaxed atmosphere but a bit noisy near the “cage” ( axe throwing cage). Service was great, friendly and accommodating staff. At first, the hostess asked if we were okay sitting on high tops. I’m short and never been comfy sitting in high tops. One of the server was kind enough to jump in and cleared a table for us. The smoked wings and sweet honey corn bread are must haves! I’ve never had wings like these before and dipped in ranch -even better. The St. Louis ribs are “okay” if your preference is dry rib”. My husband thought they could’ve been better longer and slower in the pit and not so high heat to rendered more. I like my ribs slightly moist the way they were served here. (Not sure about my husband), but I plan on coming back to a location nearer to us. Oh and the sweet iced tea was perfect!

                                                                                                                                                Took over an hour to get food and when the food did come out it was cold and the chicken strips for the kids were burnt and dry. Burnt ends was salty and over sauced. I haven’t been to Suaced since the pandemic and it has seriously gone down hill. The tables next to us were served before us and we ordered our food 15 to 20 minutes before them. I will definitely let my colleagues and clients know about this experience and make sure my money as well as my companies money will never go here again. “Sorry, we are busy because the game”. Don’t give me excuses for your lack of service, give me solutions.

Our waiter was really awesome, the outdoor patio was really nice with cool weather. The food was pretty good. The chicken was dry but with bbq sauce it was OK. The Mac and cheese is delicious & the cornbread was really good. The baked beans taste weird. The spicy mango margarita was AH-MAZING, the blackberry mule was good too. It's definitely better than some other bbq places around town but the Sacramento BBQ scene bar is really low, sooo..... yeah.

He did not come in our area for a while so we only had water to drink. When our food came out, my pulled pork was cold. Not room temperature cold, I mean cold cold. Like it was sitting there for a while. Our server did not speak to us expect when he first came to the table and asked “can I get you guys anything?”
