Sauced BBQ & Spirits - Sacramento
Once our food was delivered, never had another visit to our table to check on us, or see about drink refills. Ate an entire meal of salty BBQ food with nothing to drink.
Everything was great! A bit pricey but definitely worth it! Wish the sides were a bit bigger
Amazing food. Some of the best bbq I have ever had.
Great place to meet for drinks with friends. Fun atmosphere. Love that the menu is clearly marked with vegetarian & gluten free items. Baked sweet potato is a favorite!
Very fun, high energy place to go with friends, a bit loud with the Axe Throwing. Probably not a date place but great for a group.
Very loud - great location to walk over to golden 1 - food was yummy!
Would go again. Expensive but have to remember what area you are in.
Beer selection was very good and bbq was even better. Go for the combo to try the most. Highlight was the axe throwing cagesin the back.
Horrible food. Somewhere between dog food and dirt. Hundreds of other places in Sacramento that are worth your time and money.
Out of town family came for a visit to Sacramento. Sauced was a great spot. Gods food and great laughs learning to ace throw!
Employees kept goofing off in a cage they had set up for Axe throwing. It was so loud and you juts kept hearing bang...bang...bang....very stressful with all the loud noise from the employees throwing axes. Service was very slow even though they were not crowded....food was good once you got it...but you will die of thirst waiting for them to refill your water or soda.
Birthday occasion. No problem getting seated but order was brought out wrong and took a while to fix. For $35, there could have been more meat of my three meat plate but it was delicious.
Good experience...overall everything was good with the exception of the Mac & Cheese!! It was pasty and just plain BAD!!!
The wait staff was very accommodating for our large party of 16. The provided split checks and were quick to respond to needs. The food portions were more than ample and good tasting.
Great service in getting our tables together on the phone. Quick and friendly wait staff. Great food
The axe throwing was really loud. I liked our server.
Birthday for our son. Enjoined throwing the ac.
Fun place! Busy & lively. Great hang out.
Food and atmosphere was good, the service could’ve been better. 5 people at the front counter and all 5 ignored us when we walked in.
Food allergy- noted on reservations and told the waiter. Unfortunately didn’t save me from food cross contamination almost ended up in emergency room.
Good food, very energetic, but this receives a lower score because this reservation does not guarantee a lane to throw axes. I called to confirm that this reservation would count as both and when I got to the restaurant was notified that it was ONLY for a table to eat and NOT for throwing axes. Fortunately, we were able to get in, but this would have been a complete disappointment if we weren't able to play. Regarding the food, it's great, everything we had was flavorful and hot, upon arrival. We were pleased with the food and drinks.
Very busy before a golden one event. Had reservations and got right in. Very loud but that what we expected.. cold beer and good BBQ. Ax throwing was fun to watch and will have to try when not so busy. GreaT location , got served and where out with time to spare before the show.
Noisiest restaurant we've ever been to. Axe throwing...really??? Food was way overpriced that kind of ambience and quality! First and last time!
Way too loud. Couldn’t talk to anyone.
Pre concert dinner and drinks
It was our 1st time at “Sauced” and the food and service were amazing! Our server was Jami G and she was awesome!
I don’t write a lot of reviews, but this place was SO good, I had to do it.
Our only complaint is that it’s extremely LOUD inside, due to the nature of having lots of TV with sporting events. So loud that it would be impossible to hold a conversation, so we chose to dine outside. The weather and temperature at 7pm (Sun) were PERFECT and we could see the TVs without being blasted by them.
The food was pretty good but the service could have been way better. Hardly ever saw my server. They dropped off the food and didn't come back until it was time to bring the check.
I was attending a conference at the G1C with my husband and in-laws. We decided to eat at Sauced since it was right next door. We sat down in the bar area even though there was not a crowd as of yet. We ordered drinks and food. Both my sister-in-law and I had ordered red wine whereas my husband and his brother had ordered beers. The waitress brought the beers and wine all to find the one beer size ordered was incorrect and the wine ordered was rancid. The correct beer was finally delivered after which we sent the drinks back to order completely different drinks. The new drinks took so long, that I went to the bar asking for them after which two sets of drinks were then delivered due to the confusion. The drinks were covered by Sauced but the waiting for food and drink were discouraging. I have only ate here a handful of times, of which the restaurant was busy every time due to an event at the G1C. Sauced doesn’t seem to adjust staffing levels to support the customer flow coming from the G1C. Disappointed, again!
Shockingly poor service. The entire time we were there (food took forever) we were surrounded by dirty tables, disgusting floor. It was just gross. Our waitress wasn’t attentive, food was like warm. That’s the last time we will go there.
I made a reservation for right after my show at Golden1. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday. My family got a table within 5 minutes of our arrival. Our drinks arrived pretty quickly and my beer was cold. I had the ribs & brisket combo. My mac&cheese was a little cold, but still tasty. The cornbread was great. We never mentioned my wife’s birthday, but when she opened a couple of b-day cards our server inquired. She surprised my wife with a scoop of ice cream and 3 deep fried Oreos. That sounded strange to us and we never would have ordered those on our our own. They are sooo good. I’ll get them again next time we go. Overall a great time.
Great place in DOCO. Really good food, service and walking distance to all that you need in Downtown Sacramento.
Pretty loud if you’re looking for conversation. Ax throwing was new since the last time we were there...unpleasant clack! Every few minutes.
Service was ok. Seemed a bit understaffed. Food was amazing. I don’t like overly smoked flavoring and the flavor was great. Meat tender.
I’d go again but probably with just my husband or a small group not looking to have much conversation.
Wish there was more info about ax? Throwing & cheaper
Made a reservation on open table and when we arrived they didn’t have a reservation. However they went ahead and seated us on the patio same night as the Kings game which was pretty lucky. Service was pretty fast and the food was amazing. Will definitely come back!
I loved my Hurricane cocktail, but my burnt ends were really burnt and I couldn't eat almost half of the portion I was served. The baked beans were very good also.
Great place. Food was awesome, and the hatchet throwing made for a great time with the team from work.
Food was pretty good. Its more of a sports bar than a restaurant. Must not have read there would be axe throwing as part of the ambiance! Lots of beers so I shouldn’t have been surprised that their martini skills were meh. Recommend the brisket and the sides. Better for hanging with buddies or co-workers than for a family birthday party.
Server was bit uninterested, seemed to be maybe having a bad day. Not a good look to pass along to the customers. Other than that, food was great and great atmosphere.
