I set a reservation for a party of 8 after my son's graduation. It was a nice cool day but yet we still decided to dine in. I ordered there birria tacos. Our server was very nice and very attentive. The food was delicious as always. I would definitely come back to sauced whenever I want barbecue or a good time.

First, always sit on the patio unless you love very loud dining rooms. Second, get the burnt ends. Had a great meal. Chose the two meat plate to split with burnt ends and cheddar jalapeño sausage, Mac and cheese, and sweet potato casserole. Also had the chili cheese fries with their brisket chili. Yum! Had a peach mule that was not nearly strong enough for the price point. And banana pudding to round it out. Patio seating is abundant and cool in the hot Sacramento sunny days. Only complaint is the chairs (grey ones) are extremely uncomfortable if you’re a human adult and especially is you are a woman with hips. We will always return though. Tasty vittles!

We wanted to get ahead of the Mother’s Day crowd to have a nice time together without feeling rushed or squished. Though service included a trainee for our table, staff was great and made sure our experience was a good one. What could have made it an complete 5-star experience would just to be a bit more organized for larger parties. For example, establishing ordering structure early on to minimized chaos induced by hungry stomachs. No “bad” experiences, just an observation.

We got lucky and were able to get a table for 11 on a Saturday night. Food was good but the service was not. Drinks took forever. Server disappeared many times. We were there for a total of 3 hours. Will go back, but not with a big party.

Attended the reservation. Hostess sat us at the bar. Not a problem. She never came back with menus like she said she would. We sat for 30 minutes before a bar tender noticed. On top of all that, open table says we didn’t attend the reservation. Still we tipped accordingly and generously.

The atmosphere was amazing when we went. I made a reservation before hand so we would get a regular table instead of a high top, a person preference. The food was amazing and had a great selection of beers. The service was outstanding too. I would definitely recommend and will be going again.

We came to celebrate my moms retirement. Sam and our other waitress (I didn’t get her name) were amazing! We had an elder with us who was getting kinda grumpy. She went above and beyond to accommodate him so he can get him fed and taken care of. I don’t think I’ve ever received that elite level of service. EVER! Food was amazing. We had guests from Maryland with us and they want to come back there to eat before they head back home!

ON 4/3/23, I WENT WITH 5 FRIENDS TO SAUCED. IT WAS A MONDAY AND OUR DINNER WAS FOR 8:15PM. WE WERE THERE AT 8:10 ON A MONDAY AND IT WAS FAIRLY SLOW INSIDE. THE DRINKS AND APPITIZERS CAME OUT AT 8:58PM. NEARLY 45 MINS AFTER BEING SAT DOWN. ONCE THE APP'S CAME OUT WE ORDERED OUR DINNER. THE DINNER CAME OUT WITHIN 15-20 MINS HOWEVER IT WAS LUKE WARM. THE FOOD WAS ALSO VERY "GAS-SY" / YOU COULD TASTE THE PROPANE IN THE MEAT. THE WORST PART ABOUT IT WAS OUR WAITER NEVER CAME BACK TO THE TABLE TO CHECK ON US OR EVEN REFILL OUR WATER. ONCE HE DID FINALLY COME BACK HE ASKED IF WE WE'RE READY FOR OUR CHECK. DIDN'T ASK ANYTHING ABOUT OUR FOOD... Place was packed as expected after Golden One Center event. Our server was terrible though the runners tried to make up for it and keep her tables on track. Apparently the kitchen got backed up and the hostess came to the table to apologize for the delay, however we had already been waiting an hour for our food by then. We’ve considered trying Sauced every time we go to Golden One, and now that we have, we won’t be going back. The food is fine, but it’s definitely not worth the wait.
