In the heart of the Financial District, Sauce & Barrel is an easy going neighborhood restaurant. We cater to those doing business as well as the family from out of town staying at a hotel down the block. Sauce & Barrel is aimed to elicit a sense of familiarity. It is a place that someone in the neighborhood could come once a week, or a couple travelling from across the country could come to taste through our barrel aged cocktail program and make friends with their bartender. Sauce & Barrel is specific and niche in concept, but our execution of this concept leads to a broad appeal.

Variations on the classics make our menu innovative and exciting, offering a wide array of options that are sure to please even the pickiest eater. Our 3-tier pizza oven situated in the heart of the restaurant offers a view for guests to see the passion we pour into every pie we make.

We have a small private event space that can accommodate up to 10 for a seated dinner or up to 30 for a standing reception. We also have a semi-private mezzanine for larger parties that can accommodate 50+ guests. Parties of 75+ guests would be considered for a full buyout, prices upon request. Organizing a private event here at Sauce & Barrel is simple, straightforward, and hassle free. There are a lot of restaurants, but few with the space and dynamic offered here. We are able to host lunch, dinner, and cocktail events for any type of event.

We had great drinks, food was spot on (recommend the octopus app). Service was wonderful. jD was the man.

Good more casual lunch spot for a business meal. Incredible Happy Hour (2 for 1 Beerwine and $10 cocktails) starting at Noon.

The bartenders were incredibly nice (ask for Oscar!), and my friends and I were seated on time. I wish the server was a little more knowledgeable about the food options, but he was still very attentive and polite, and never made us feel rushed. I will definitely be back.

We live nearby so we eat there frequently. I always get the margarita pizza. The ingredients are fresh and mozarella is homemade. The food is much better than any pizza place nearby. My spouse tried the mushroom pizza this time but he didn't like it because they said he couldn't purchase chicken as an extra topping.... I don't eat chicken so I tried his and I thought it was tasty. We really like the avacado appetizer but it's pricey so we don't always order it. Service wise I don't like that the bread sticks aren't consistent. We usually end up having to ask for them. Last night it was so loud that we ended up texting each other because we couldn't hear... Kinda just wanted to finish eating quickly and leave. It's not always like that though. If it's not too crowded it's much better ambiance. The wait staff is nice. If you are in the area and in the mood for pizza def go here instead of other places nearby. The other places in the area have canned sauce/ ingredients. This place is fresh everything. And the crust is charcoaly, crispy, super yummy European style.

What a convenient and enjoyable restaurant, especially before or after a visit to the China Institute! Our perfect day was a docent tour of the "Art of the Mountain" exhibit at this special museum, followed by a relaxing and delicious lunch of salads and pizzas. From the moment we walked in, our membership group was treated with courtesy and competence. Having requested a quiet area good for conversation, we were seated in a private area where we had A-1 service, always with a smile. Several of us had either arugula or Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. A couple of people shared a pizza. All enjoyed the food, the conversation and the ambiance.
