Loved finding this great brunch spot. The food and feel of the space were a level up from a diner or traditional breakfast joint, but the price was just right. Will be back often!

We live nearby and eat often at the Satellite. It’s definitely on our very short list of favorites.

Great neighborhood restaurant in SW Austin when you want a good meal without driving downtown, etc. Too nosy, though. Wish they'd install some acoustical tile or sound absorption. And I preferred it without the TV screens and when they had some live music on some nights, which would make it an extra special spot for SW Austin.

We went for Sunday breakfast. The food was good but a little cold by the time it came to our table. The wait staff was friendly and got our order right which is always a plus. The spicy bloody mary was just that but delicious. Will definitely go back again.

My friends and I love this restaurant. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service. We also love the food, especially the Orchid Chicken and Cocktails.

Sitting outside was not a big deal to us, but it seemed like absolute chaos. I kept getting banged on the back of my chair with people walking behind me. They didn’t seem to have enough help cleaning tables and hostesses seemed overwhelmed having to do the job of bussing tables. It just was not a relaxing meal- and it ain’t cheap to eat at satelite, so I’m not sure it was worth it.

It was great, I especially like the dry ice martini, and the scallops. Were awesome.

Satellite has wonderful food and a great bar! Employees are always cheerful and friendly. It’s a great neighborhood find!

Truly our favorite neighborhood GEM in Circle C Ranch. It has a cozy ambiance with a delicious creative menu. There’s also a nice large patio for dining but it was too chilly on this particular evening. We definitely recommend The Satellite Cafe!

The drinks were amazing, the food was amazing

Satellite has been consistently good over the last few years that my wife and I have been going there . Recently, I veered away from the entrées in the range up to $20 and instead got one of the specials, the Alaskan halibut for $29. It was both very tasty and very worth the price. Friendly service, easy parking, highly recommended.

Had a great New Year’s Eve dinner. Forgot to serve my soup but gave me a credit on the bill. 😍😍😎😎. We’ll go again.

It was my friends first time there and she was very impressed. I, however, live in the neighborhood and frequent Satellite Cafe. I was embarrassed that the manager approached and acknowledged every table around us except ours. When we were finished, and she left, I approached the manager (who I found out was new) and shared my experience. He was very apologetic and thanked me for letting him know.

Good place to meet friends or have a nice dinner in Southwest Austin.

Food was amazing! One of the best steaks I have ever head.

The food was okay. There were several errors in our meal including the hollandaise sauce that was accidentally finished with a LOT of cayenne instead of paprika. That was quite a surprise. Our waiter was incredibly slow and often forgot to bring what we requested. Overall it was so-so good for a less than stellar service experience. I will not be returning.

Satellite is my favorite restaurant in Austin. We go every couple of months. I typically get the lettuce wraps with tofu. I also think their cocktail the Red Ruby is my favorite cocktail ever, which is a surprise because I've typically preferred margaritas. Recently we've had their carrot cake and the chocolate torte, both of which were delicious (the carrot cake in particular is really moist and one of the best versions of that cake I've ever had).

Great food and service, as always. We frequently go here for Sunday breakfast, or just a quiet night with a glass of wine, by the outdoor fire. (being able to bring our puppy is a HUGE plus). Is always our "go to" place for a quick bite or a delicious meal. Thanks again!

We eat at Satellite Bistro several times a year and usually reserve a table through Open Table. Great cocktails, has my all-time favorite cocktail the Red Ruby. Everything we've had is good - burger, veggie burger, pasta dishes, lettuce wraps, queso, desserts. Really an all around great place to eat.

All they need to add to the menu is a classic big fat juicy steak! NY strip, Ribeye or something like that. There are no real steak dishes in our hood and I am not too fond of chains such as Longhorn. You had one for a short time and I got excited but it was short lived. It was from a famous football player (Forgot his name) with compound butter and fries. I miss that dish! Your filets are too small for this boy. :)

The patio was perfect for Friday brunch with a colleague and the food was delightful as always. I usually grab the brunch with scalloped potatoes and a pancake but chose differently and loved my veggie omelette with sautéed veggies and bacon. Yum all day!!

Satellite is a nice neighborhood restaurant with a creative menu and good drinks. We chose to sit out on the patio at a high top table; however the table we selected was right outside of the entrance to the restaurant and it proved to be a busy spot. We suggest avoiding that location if at all possible.

Our overall experience was nice...great food (Tuna Tartar and Chicken Lettuce Wraps) and a couple of cocktails. The one thing that made the evening slightly annoying was being charged an extra $2 for my husband's cocktail to be poured on ice, rather than served as a regular martini. Really? We were told it was because there was more alcohol in the drink as an iced cocktail than a martini. I doubt it. Felt a little nickel & dimed on that one. And we weren't informed prior to being charged the extra $2. My cocktail was on ice and it was $2 cheaper than his. I know, it's only $2...but it seemed silly and put a bit of a "grrrrrrr" on what was pretty much a nice evening dinner. Easy recovery would have been to take it off our bill this one time and now we know in the future to inquire. Instead, we'll go check out the District Restaurant across the parking lot.

All of us LOVED what we had for lunch. For a table of 9, the server (Kayla) was fabulous, food came out in a timely manner and well worth the cost. We all will definitely go back.
Several of us had been there before but not for a long time. It will not be as long of a wait this time between visits.

I was disappointed in our waitress who told us the bar didn't have Deep Eddy Grapefruit Vodka or Tanqueray Gin. My friend saw the bottle of gin; however, I wasn't in a position to see the bar. I settled for a lemon vodka and tonic which wasn't good but that's what I get for settling. In hindsight, I should have just gone up to the bar and ordered my drink.

Drinks and food were good. Had Strawberry Margarita, Calamari , two different salads with steak tips. The server was attentive at first. Once the main meal arrived, the experience took a turn. No refresh of waters, no offer for dessert and simply placed the check down with no verbal acknowledgement. Had to make the server aware the check wasn't even ours! Finally after paying the bill, WE initiated the request for dessert, still no water or drink request. Repeat on how the dessert check was brought. The atmosphere is hip and crowded at peak time for a Friday, food was delicious, service below par.

As always, the food was delicious, as it consistently is, and the service excellent. Such a neighborhood gem!!!

The Satellite never disappoints! Party of eight there for a special birthday celebration. Andrew did a wonderful job serving us. Drinks were fantastic, as always, appetizers delicious! Everyone enjoyed their meal. We really love all the servers and the bar tenders make consistently delicious creations. We usually go once a week for dinner, and couldn't think of anywhere we'd rather go for this celebration. Thanks Satellite!

The service was very good, but the food was only fair and overpriced.

My husband's biggest pet peeve about restaurants is the noise level. He was pleasantly surprised that the noise level at Satellite was pretty low. We ate during their Sunday brunch hours July 30. The food and service was fantastic.

Satellite is truly a neighborhood gem! We always enjoy our dining experience at the Satellite with its cozy atmosphere, great service and consistently yummy food! I especially like the Tuna Tartar appetizer and the nice patio dining. We'll definitely be back again and again! 👍🏻
