All we can say is the Team of people that work at the Disley Sasso’s make the place what it is….. simply amazing!!! Great service, amazing food and always the best for a fantastic night out!!

We’ve had many good experiences at Sasso. This was the exception. The food was bland and unattractive and the waiting staff were uninterested. Service was cursory. Maybe it was because it was a Tuesday. At the prices charged we would expect far better (and have had those expectations met in the past). Hoping this was a one off bad night.

Sasso stands out to be a very beautiful restaurant with excellent food. I have been going to this restaurant for over twenty years with previous owners. Unfortunately I was disappointed as it was my boyfriend birthday that they asked to know in the booking but they did not acknowledge in anyway and also I asked for a particular table and wasn't given it. I also felt staff where to on top throughout the meal.

I would have given you a 5 star, if it had not been for the terrible music (what is known as musac) playing constantly. You are an Italian restaurant please play some great gentle Italian music which would sooth you customers. Having waited table in my university days I appreciate how hard a job it can be but staff walking past our table and not clearing away our plates when we were clearly finished is not good. We were going to have a sweet or coffee but after 15 minutes we decided to pay the bill and leave. Food good but you could do better

Saaso is the only "fine dining" in the area and seems to have fallen into the trap of over pricing - there is much better value in Manchester - and as such the food is only fair for the price paid Service as always was excellent but I am not sure what the recent refurbishment has added to the experience

The service was faultless, very attentive but not overbearing A fault of own re the ordering of the food was dealt with graciously and without drama and was very much appreciated The food was divine and the atmosphere pleasant Thank you

Specifically requested Tables can’t be guaranteed even well in advance and on a Tuesday (a quiet night) Order taken down wrongly … so one guest had to have a meal she didn’t want to be able to eat with the group No decaf coffee or tea available and isn’t ever available - a lot of people want a coffee but not caffeinated at 10pm… decaf is standard on most menus nowadays Highly priced restaurant It was all ok but so much hype around Sasso

I was really looking forward to my visit to Sasso but sadly I was left disappointed. I had calamari for a starter and it looked and tasted as if it was from cooked from frozen and not fresh at all. There was plenty of it but we could not finish it all. It was just dumped in a pile on a plate with a small scoop of what I think was lemon garlic butter but neither of us could be sure. It was just so bland and tasted how it looked, it also spoilt the rest of the meal If I’m being honest. Both my partner and I complained about it at the time to 2 different members of staff and both said they would speak to the manager. However the manager did not come to see us and no account was taken of this in the final bill. I also noticed on the bill that I had been charged for a table water which we did not receive but by that time i could not be bothered to make a fuss about it and we left. My partner had a king prawn starter and that was lovely so hopefully it was just the calamari that was frozen. The restaurant itself was lovely and the ambience was great but I was expecting better quality from somewhere like this .
