Great steak with all the accompaniments, solid cocktails as well. Always a good experience here, love the old school vibe.
Loved it! Everything was as expected!
Delicious, decadent, deserving of all the positive reviews. There’s a reason they’ve stood the test of time!
My husband and I were in San Diego for the weekend and were looking for a local spot to have a celebratory meal.
Found Saska’s and am so glad we did! His filet was cooked perfectly and my meal was just as good.
Portions were big especially from a steakhouse where typically you need to order more sides to get full.
The service was great as well. Our cups were never empty!
Our server was great! Food is good, but pricey for quality. I would come back.
We had a large party of hungry people. It was a great time. Loved the food and cocktails!
It was just so so. Only one piece of garlic bread each, very slow to refill drinks, nothing special and wouldn’t go back.
Excellent food and service at this restaurant. Older style steakhouse with lots of leather booths. It's a bit pricy but worth it when compared to high end steakhouses. Sat in bar area early in the evening so it was still quiet. We both had the 8 oz fillets and a very good house salad with real Roquefort dressing. Steaks were outstanding. Parking is a pain. Plan on walking through a touristy area. Did not love the twice baked potato, not well seasoned and too much cheese.
Disappointing ate there for years. Not as good anymore
We love this place. Start a little early. Catch a pacific sunset and walk 100 yards to old school steak dinner.
I love this place. Have been dozens of times. It’s sad to see them being affected by their legal issues. Warm service. Great food. Good vibe all around.
Not sure why I did not receive 100 points for this reservation. As long as I book using opentable I feel that I should receive the 100 points.
Great food at a good price. The only issue could be parking during peak times
We hadn't been in years, made it time for happy hour every day until 5pm, $4 draft beers, a good selection of appetizers and a skirt steak dinner with potatoes and veggies, very good and reasonable at $14. Excellent service as well with a good mix of oldies rock playing. Will definitely go again and take advantage of their great happy hour offerings!
Saskas is always a good time! Great food, late night dining and great staff.
Its fallen off a bit. website said 5 dollar pkg with validation. That is over but we didnt find out until we waited outside forever. Food wasnt the same. Booth by the kitchen get all the smells of trash, someone smoking out back etc. Server was ok but missing salt at table, steak knives. Meat was cross section with cartilage and tough. carrots had a weird taste to them. mixed vegies would have been better i mean how many people want a huge pile of carrots. missing that warm family feeling as well..
Beautiful bar, great food— dimly lit yet quite classy... a perfect non-pretentious neighborhood steakhouse. 🙌
Great food great service filet was tender and cooked perfectly. Scallops were amazing.
The steak here is so delicious and the service is great!!
Pleasant evening. We had a light meal at a decent price.
Really great service. 🙂
The ribeye and Vispar martini were excellent. I will go back for sure. Our waitress was great.
