Outstanding food and overall excellent deputed traffic roaring by on Olympic Blvd. Will back next week
S’wonderful!
The only reason ambiance is 4 stars is because of the outdoor dining only during this time. But tables are spaced more than 6 feet between, and there are heaters. We still dressed warm just in case. Indoor atmosphere is always nice here. Some of the best sushi and warm rice we've had in LA. So delicious. Great service here too.
Thank you Sasabune for doing such a great job during Covid for all your customers ! So appreciate you and will always support you !
Nice heaters near the tables, great food and service!
What a dinner! The fish was incredible and the service was awesome. We had a 5 star dining experience. Best sushi ever!
Absolutely love it. Unexpected location that can be deceiving. Great food and unique cuts. Would go again.
Enjoyed omakase full course over lunch outside. While the outdoor sidewalk didn't make for the greatest ambiance the pandemic requires compromise. The tables and chairs were comfortable and spread out with some nice music piped in. The food was amazing. Every bite was enjoyed and the servers were attentive and timely. I would go back again.
Birthday dinner was awesome! Everything was delicious. Nice outdoor dining set up.
Sushi was mediocre. Some of the cold raw fish was hot. It was very expensive too
Outside the door seating in a strip mall because of Covid19 restrictions, understandable. Food was amazing!
Excellent fish quality and attentive service
Some of the best sushi in town. While not cheap at $85-95 for their omakase menu, you get a lot of delicious food. Really ends up being a good value and worth a special night out.
Terrible food! We couldn’t even eat it! It seemed like the Sushi was prepared earlier and put in fridge!
The best sushi in LA. The service and ambiance is perfect for any occasion.
The top tier omakase here is amazing. The uni and the toro are the clear standouts
still my favorite sushi place in LA. the fish freshness, warm rice and friendly service never fail.
Absolute best best best! Could not recommend this place enough. Best quality fish in town.
It was a great meal and friendly staff!
great experience. food was amazing and fresh. presentation was clean and simple. well paced omakase dinner. only 4 in room diners. very quiet as a result. no complaints
Nothing was special
The lunch menu was perfect for a business meeting. Delicious and lovely place I always enjoy eating here.
Food is delicious but expensive with simple surroundings. If u don’t care about price or ambiance go. It’s super great !!
Delish! Loved the Omakese
Best restaurant in LA
Amazing sushi and super friendly chef!
There is a new chef and the old sushi menu options have been eliminated in favor of two omakase options that cost twice as much and do not include the higher end fish like live sweet shrimp, uni, etc. Servers would mention only half the time when soy sauce is recommended or not with which fish. Restaurant was very empty for a Saturday night and probably because it is no longer the same experience in quality and value as before
I have been there many times and always have a great experience. I highly recommend it.
I really liked the old menu better. This meal is too expensive for the ambience. I used to be a regular customer. Probably will only go back rarely at these prices for a restaurant in a strip mall.
chef could not have been nicer nor could the fish have been any better! my go to omakase when in la!
I love it!
Unbelievably delicious. The fish was like butter! They never disappoint!
Just the best sushi.
Excellent all around. Truly fantastic meal. Can't recommend it enough.
Good Sushi with warm rice. Traditional Japanese style sushi. Very satisfied. Price is high. No atmosphere in BH at all. I hope they work on it.
