The waiter was very friendly, helpful, and attentive (in a good way). Portions were small for the price but tasty and interesting. Noise volume in the restaurant made it difficult for us to talk to each other during the meal.

It is not authentic Filipino restaurant and should not be advertised as such. They should call it Pan-Asian so customers don't get disappointed.

Came here with my family and absolutely loved it! My parents are hard to please since they usually prefer home cooked well balanced meals, this place really hit the spot for them!

Delicious food! My dad is Filipino and I grew up eating my grandmother’s traditional Filipino food. The flavors were authentic and tasty. But the portions are very small for the higher price.

This place is amazing. We came for the Filipino Restaurant Week, and the Pork Belly/Lechon and BBQ Skewers were my favorite parts of the meal. This was a wonderful modern twist on traditional Filipino dishes that I remember from my childhood. The Chicken Adobo was extremely juicy, and flavorful, and my family devoured everything. 10/10.

Very disappointed, maybe because of the Easter / Passover holiday, quality control was off? Unfortunate because I have had a few good meals at Sarvida before recommending it for our family get-together. My wife and my sister-in-law barely ate anything because of how incredibly salty everything was. One of our dishes, the whole chicken, came out with the meat still cold while the skin was scalding hot (obvious reheat of a precooked dish). For a whole fish and chicken presentation, we needed better cutlery to open up and serve - the utensils given were inadequate to the task. Service was okay but not very prompt - there was one server for the entire restaurant and she did the best she could. We got comped a halo halo for the chicken dish we sent back to be further heated.

This is our third visit to Sarvida and each time has been very good. They have a number of reliable dishes that you'll want to return to, with several more adventurous choices to keep each visit interesting. As a BYOB you can make full night out with friends and feel that it has been both delicious and reasonably priced.

But it is hard to cut and eat something that comes in as a whole piece.

A local gem. Will definitely be back. We were a party of 6 on a busy Saturday night. The food was very good, service was also very good. It was the first time having Filipino food for 2/3 of the table so some things were just not their style/taste. Wish the website would have had a little more info regarding the style of food. For example, it would have been great to know in advance to bring mostly white wines, since that pairs better with Filipino food than red, as we learned from our waitress.

This was our first time at Sarvida and trying Filipino cuisine. The service and dishes were outstanding. The lamb shank was so tender, there was no need for the steak knives. Dishes were simple and flavorful. Highly recommend this tiny BYOB!

Valentine's Day at sarvida was our first time eating there. They had an excellent four course tasting menu for only $45 which was a real treat and a great bargain. However it is extraordinary noisy in the restaurant. That sort of makes it an unpleasant meal. If you don't mind noise then I highly recommended.

Food was fantastic. The service was beyond bad. They are not smart enough to know that it is never okay to ask diners to move table mid-dinner to accomodate another party. Plan your tables better or offer free dessert or something for the inconvenience you cause the diners to move tables. Ridiculous!

Great food. Restaurant was very chilly when we arrived that I had to keep my coat on for a while. Would be nice if they could adjust the temperature to a comfortable setting prior to guests arriving.

The food was great and service was exceptional.

We got the pig tails (amazing especially if you like fat), lumpiang (really good), and pork knuckle (almost like the German schweinehaxe, very large portion size that the two of us shared it and could only eat half).

The dining room, however, was very smokey due to the lack of ventilation in the open kitchen. We left with our coats, clothes and hair smelling like the food/smoke. Would be nice if they used good ventilation for the kitchen. I might not go back for this reason alone, otherwise it would have been a perfect experience.

Great atmosphere and ambiance for my first time. We had the ukoy as appetizer that was delicious. For the main course we tried the lamb shank mechado, the meat fell off the bone easily, along with the ginataan, which was good. But it could use more sauce because the vegetables were a bit dry and hard to eat. I would come back to try different dishes there.

We went in looking for Filipino food. I get the idea of modern Filipino but felt that there was too much distilled out of it. My meal felt Mediterranean more than anything. The beef tendon chicharron was outstanding albeit maybe too ethereally lightweight. The lumpia appetizer had an odd whole wheat poori accompanying a salad that tasted more of tahini than of the hearts of palm. We should have ordered the roast chicken but went out on a limb with the lamb shank. It was tasty but a hint of chili and fish sauce in the braising liquid was all that alluded to something from the Philippines. Can’t wait to go back and see how it grows into its own.
