Excellent Prix Fixe menu with true Italian quality. Molto Bono!
Excellent! Always exceeds expectations.
We don't have any complaints. We have only compliments.
This was our first visit to Sardinia and we were not disappointed. The food and the service were excellent. We plan to go back.
everything was wonderful except the noise. when we go back we’ll try to go early and probably avoid friday/saturday between 7-9. but we’re old! everyone certainly appeared to be enjoying themselves.
Delicious and wonderful service. There were four of us and we each had the Savor Sarasota menu. All of us loved our selections!
Really wanted to love this more, but the pasta (tagolini with fava beans and mint) was a flavorless, overcooked mushy mess. The whole meal seemed to suffer from a lack of seasoning. Had heard great things, but was really underwhelmed and disappointed
Best best food delicious , wonderful staff everything was perfection !
This is like a trip to Sardinia !
Enjoying friends and great food and Savor Sarasota.
This was our first visit to Sardinia. Dining room was simply but tastefully arranged.
Our waiter was efficient and helpful explaining the menu. Wine list was good, had
Good Sardinian choices. We decided to try the Taste of Sarasota menu, it was a great
Introduction to Sardinian cuisine. All our choices were well prepared and simply delicious.
From appetizers to desert we a great dinner. Highly recommend.
We loved our dinner, but had sticker shock at the price of bottled wine.
Way over priced for a restaurant like this. It will make us think twice about returning.
A shame because everything else is very good.
We would recommend this restaurant, but be prepared to pay a lot if you want wine
We have been here before; as far as we are concerned this is the only consistent high quality Italian restaurant in town! Something for everyone!
We used a Savor Sarasota menu which offered perfect complement of tastes; staff attentive; excellent spacing of tables; quiet...they have "sound dampening artwork on walls; wine list outstanding...something for everyone.
It was a delightful 53rd wedding anniversary....thank you Sardinia...we will be back!

We have been dining at Sardinia for about six years. It remains one of our favorite restaurants in Sarasota. The people are delightful and the Sardinian food is wonderful. This time, we ate outdoors, and although there was some noise from Tamiami Trail, it was fine.
Excellent food and service. We have been to Sardinia before and we will be back!
The authentic Sardinian cuisine was delicious. Some in our group enjoyed the Savor Sarasota choices, while others ordered off the menu. The white bean soup du jour and red snapper filet special were amazing. We particularly enjoyed trying wines from Sardinia. We’ll be back!
Spectacular food and great service. We will be returning.
Alway the same- reliable delicious food, professional service, comfortable ambiance. Sardinian Cannanou by the glass is lovely. As a demanding New Yorker (just moved to Sarasota a few months ago), I am quite selective in regards to the quality of a restaurant. Sardinia is one of my very few favorites. Bravo!
Food is very good and extremely consistent which is why we keep going back!
Excellent restaurant with wonderful service and food quality
Food was good, kind of pricey and limited selection. Would likely not return. Service was good. Some other Italian restaurants are just as good and less pricey.
Quality, portion size, and flavor was excellent. First time, but won't be our last.
Our dinner was fantastic, we are Italians from Southern Italy and for us, it was really like having dinner at a great restaurant in Italy, authentic and genuine cuisine. Like for any Italian dish, ingredients play a huge part and at Sardinia, we found the quality of the ingredients being outstanding, and they are used skilfully to create flavourful and delicious dishes. We had a starter, the carasau bread with pecorino, two primi, linguine with clams and bottarga and gnocchetti with ragu with porcini mushrooms. We also tried the salsiccia and a dessert, the panna cotta, everything was perfect. Besides the food, the ambience was quiet and relaxing, upscale without being pretentious. The personnel was equally outstanding, very nice and kind, very attentive without being annoying. Would definitely come back if we are again in the Siesta Key area and would surely suggest dining at Sardinia if you want a delicious taste of real Italian recipes and food.
A personal favorite! We love it and the service is beyond wonderful. A true gem
We had a wonderful dinner, a wonderful wine, and the service was exceptional. Will definitely visit again next time we’re in town.
Hands down, the best dining experience we had in Siesta Key/Sarasota. The service was incredible and the food was out of this world. They have delicious handmade pastas and beautifully prepared food. Would recommend to anyone!
We had a great time and great dinner. The chef came out to make sure we had enjoyed our dinner. Low key and cozy
It was our first time there, we will be returning! Everything was outstanding, food was delicious!
A nice change from the red sauce places. Pastas were light, aromatic, delicious. Loved the crisps that came with the bread basket (pane carasau?).
a hidden gem in a small strip mall. never a bad meal and very inventive dishes.
Perfect for a birthday celebration. Their version of paella was exceptional. We will be back.
2 nd time visiting Sarasota this year. Love this restaurant. Truly authentic. Could use some updating but the food is homemade a fresh. The Sardinian bread is delicious. Good wine list. Knowledgeable wait staff.
Will definitely return
Location was very good although quite noisy. Service was excellent as was the wine list.
Food was fair except that my pork chop was overcooked and dry.
Exceptional start to finish! Servers are well educated in the plates offered as well as being bilingual. Wine cellar is well stocked with many Sardinian/Italian wines. The food is phenomenal. Compliments to chef!
I made reservations online for 8pm but wanted an earlier sitting. Called the restaurant and they were very accomodating and changed my time to 7:30. Our server was excellent; she made menu recommendations, as well as a wine recommendation. We ordered an appetizer, dinner and desert. It was all delicious; authentic Sardinia cruisine!!! the service was amazing. I will definitely go back.
Our server was wonderful and our dinner was delicious. I look forward to returning! I recommended your restaurant to another friend who dined with you this week and she and her husband LOVED their experience too.
Best branzino ever! Love the place. Staff is as delightful as the food. A personal favorite
The best Italian restaurant in Sarasota!!
Sat in bar area, my favorite place in the restaurant. 3 diners, 2 shared a salad & the pasta with wild mushrooms..wonderful!
The 3Rd person had a salad & linguine & clams..liked it but thought ours more interesting.
Very good restaurant, service, glad it’s close.
