One of the most authentic and exciting restaurants to open in Miami Beach in ages, this ultra-friendly restaurant has made fast friends of the neighborhood around Sunset Harbor. The young, mostly Italian staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. Highlights on the lengthy menu of rustic dishes include spaghetti bottarga, orecchiette with wild boar sausage and nearly melted broccoli di rabe pesto. Salt-crusted branzino, prepared in the wood-burning ovendeboned table-side, is a masterpiece. The fantastic, value-priced wine list is always a winner. Best to go with a crowd and share a platter of thinly sliced meats and cheeses with vegetables roasted in the wood-burning oven. Order a plate of crackly rosemary carasatu bread, too. Deserts, like the millefoglie with nutella and pastry cream, are as addictive as this new hot spot.

We always enjoy our meals at Sardinia. The food choices are great and everything is cooked to perfection. The staff is friendly and yet professional. The location is even more convenient with the access to the South Beach free trolley. A great "off of Lincoln Road" place to enjoy a drink and a meal.
After 1 hour waiting between the appetizers and the meal with the excuse from the waiter that they were busy, finally arrived and it was cold. The manager came after our complains and he told me that I wouldn't have to pay. What a solution!! Please dont go to this restaurant. Food good but service awful. !!!
Food is always terrific. The branzino never disappoints - fresh and delicious. The Italian paella made with fregola was amazing - so flavorful. Unfortunately, they were unable to provide their normal excellent service during art Basel due to huge crowds, but the food did not suffer/ great as always !
Food was just ok. Appetizer mozzarella was good.
The full portion of pasta was expensive $19 and was a small portion for a full order. It was cold too.
Chicken parmigiana was just ok too. The chicken was chewy with a rubbery like consistency.
My husband seemed to enjoy it more then I did.
The restaurant is a very nice atmosphere so I would go back and try something different next time.
Some of the food was inedible
the rest mediocre Wrong dish was delivered to one of the guests When a correct item was brought the rest of the guests wer 3/4 through the meal
The waiter did not show any interest in the level of dissatisfaction at our table
Labeling ordinary items on the menu in Italian is ridiculous given the disappointment when they arrive to the table
We have not been there for about 8 years. Do it was interesting to see how great and better it became. Immediate attention at arrival. Tanks ready - we did make a reservation for 4. Waiter. Bus boy. Water. Menu immediately there. Great choice. Miami Spice available. Specials clear. Food amazing wine selection appropriate. BREAD some of the best.
And deserts ? We had 4 different. All good.
So at the end a surprise. Check not do bad at all

Sardinia is a regular restaurant that I attend. The food is very good, however the service is really hit or miss. Sometimes I have had excellent servers, and others the servers seem uninterested in doing what they actually do - i.e. serving. The burrata is very good, however, and the Tuesday night 30% off bottles of wine is a nice touch. The pizza is also very good (although once it was not cooked enough) and the fish is very fresh. I would recommend this restaurant for good food, but be cautious of the service!
Great service and atmosphere, however we did not experience great food.
The clear exception was the antipasti which is amazing. They have a truffled cheese and the meats (mortadela, prosciutto, etc) are of great quality, super-fresh. Great opportunity to improve their past dishes. The paccheri (pasta similar to rigatoni) was undercooked, you could not even cut with a knife. They replaced the same dish by rigatoni and it come out fine. Although of great quality, the grilled octopus lacked salt and flavor. Maybe we were unlucky and that day the chef was not there...Clearly was something wrong with the cooking as everything makes sense...
Overall, I am a fan of Sardinia. However this evening our experience was less than great. We were rushed through our meal. We were half way through our first course when entrées arrived. Plates were pulled away from us while we were still chewing. I will chalk it up to an almost empty restaurant with an energetic staff......just this once.
Took our group of 6 of us for dinner. Owner is very friendly & explained the appetizer dishes to us in detail which was appreciated. We started with the rosemary bread- fragrant, thin crisps . The house provided bread was also incredible, warm, chewy full bodied. We started with the sampler platter of asst homemade mozzarellas & the guys loved it (I don't eat cheese but it looked great). We also ordered a couple plates of olives which were succulent & delicious. Entrees were plentiful, well presented & delicious. I went with the veg paella- beyond scrumptious. Another team member had veal scallopini & finished every bite. Also ordered were the wood burning oven pizzas- the report was that they were excellent. Husband ordered Seafood paella & he really enjoyed. We didn't order alcohol at this meal, but the bar looked well stocked with all the usual favorites. Our waiter was perfect- not too intrusive but always there at just the right time. It was also cool that they didn't include the tip (since there were 6 of us I thought they might). I guess they know their service is above par & that we'd hook them up. 😀We talked about 4 of us (somewhat "locals") going back soon, even though we live in Boca- well worth a drive!
Myself and three friends have enjoyed dining at this restaurant for several years now. It never disappoints us. Sardinia's menu is always interesting, and the various choices we have shared between each other let's us know the "depth" of the selections. Delicious breads, mains and desserts all are beautifully presented. Love the place!
