About Sardinia Enoteca Ristorante
One of the most authentic and exciting restaurants to open in Miami Beach in ages, this ultra-friendly restaurant has made fast friends of the neighborhood around Sunset Harbor. The young staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. Highlights on the lengthy menu of rustic dishes include spaghetti bottarga, orecchiette with wild boar sausage and nearly melted broccoli di rabe pesto. Salt-crusted branzino, prepared in the wood-burning oven, is a masterpiece. The fantastic, value-priced wine list is always a winner. Best to go with a crowd and share a platter of thinly sliced meats and cheeses with vegetables roasted in the wood-burning oven. Order a plate of crackly rosemary carasatu bread, too. Desserts, like the millefoglie with nutella and pastry cream, are as addictive as this new hot spot.

Sardinia Enoteca Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
I'm a big fan on Sardinia and be going there on a regular basis since the opening, it has becoming quite expensive for a dish of pasta, but everything is expensive now in Miami and I don't mind as long as the value is there.
I ordered the rabbit, it was a good preparation and I ate it all despite the fact that it was very salty, I told the server who sais to me, I'll tell the chef and nothing, no reply like the chef didn't care.
Past Its Former Glory?
I've been going to Sardinia Enoteca for many years and the food has been consistently good. On my last visit we almost left the restaurant as soon as we arrived, The problem was an astonishingly noisy party/corporate event in the area of the dining room closest to the front door. The noise was deafening and it was only because I'd brought two Australian friends who were in Miami for the night that we decided to stay.
The wood fired oven pizzas are good and the rabbit entree which comes with an abundance of vegetables for very good.
Massimo the longtime manager has apparently moved on, which may explain why the restaurant didn't feel the way it used to. I think the minimum the host who took our reservation could have done was to warn us about the corporate event and its impact on the ambience.
The dishes we were looking forward to, a prix fixe menu with wine for each course (Mare/Sea and Monte/Mountains) was no longer available, which was a disappointment.
Dinner was excellent and everyone was very happy. The fish done in parchment paper was delicious as were the caprese salad and the beet salad. Also, the Caesar salad got very high marks from my friends. The ravioli in butter and sage was phenomenal and the orecchiette pasta was sausage and pine nuts was excellent. The wine of the week selections are always very good choices as well.
Sardinia is one of South Florida's best and most authentic Italian restaurants. It is well managed, the menu is creative and it's refreshing to see a wine list without the same usual suspects of every other restaurant in South Florida. The service is always impeccable, the portions are very fair and the food is always delicious. The only problem is, there are too many great choices! I guess I'll have to return soon!
The place was too loud and it was hard to have a conversation amongst the 6 of us. The food was ok. I especially enjoyed the brasaola and truffle pecorino cheese. We were disappointed to be asked to hurry up by our waiter, even though we hadn't yet been there for 2 hours and still hadn't received our coffee or the check. Never had that happen before. They should not have taken our reservation time if it was going to be like that. He fortunately realized his mistake and greatly apologized, offering us each a limoncello.
Has always been and will always be one of our very favorite restaurants in MIAMI Beach. Wonderful owner, outstanding manager (the always gracious Santiago), and a first class staff. The food is consistently delicious and always completely satisfying. This is a place you can visit several times per week and never grow tired of it. The menu choices are vast from antipasti to pasta to fish to the exquisite bistecca (a must for meat lovers). I go for all that and the broccoli rabe which is made just like my grandmother made it. Perfection!
We always enjoy our meals at Sardinia. The food choices are great and everything is cooked to perfection. The staff is friendly and yet professional. The location is even more convenient with the access to the South Beach free trolley. A great "off of Lincoln Road" place to enjoy a drink and a meal.
After 1 hour waiting between the appetizers and the meal with the excuse from the waiter that they were busy, finally arrived and it was cold. The manager came after our complains and he told me that I wouldn't have to pay. What a solution!! Please dont go to this restaurant. Food good but service awful. !!!
Food: better than average; service:worse than average; noise : ouch, hurts your ears. Popular, local Italian hangout, a bit pricey, but doesn't seem to deter the crowds. Waiters' Italian accents would be hard to understand in Italy. A decent place if one doesn't overdue it. Probably gets tiresome over time.
Food is always terrific. The branzino never disappoints - fresh and delicious. The Italian paella made with fregola was amazing - so flavorful. Unfortunately, they were unable to provide their normal excellent service during art Basel due to huge crowds, but the food did not suffer/ great as always !
Food was just ok. Appetizer mozzarella was good.
The full portion of pasta was expensive $19 and was a small portion for a full order. It was cold too.
Chicken parmigiana was just ok too. The chicken was chewy with a rubbery like consistency.
My husband seemed to enjoy it more then I did.
The restaurant is a very nice atmosphere so I would go back and try something different next time.
Some of the food was inedible
the rest mediocre Wrong dish was delivered to one of the guests When a correct item was brought the rest of the guests wer 3/4 through the meal
The waiter did not show any interest in the level of dissatisfaction at our table
Labeling ordinary items on the menu in Italian is ridiculous given the disappointment when they arrive to the table
I had guests in town and had to think of somewhere really quick to take them, that i knew, would be busy, affordable and tasty. They never disappoint, we ordered everything and it all came up Trumps [pardon the Pun] from the mozzarella plate and charcuterie, breads to pastas and pizza. My Norwegian friends loved the vibe, food and wine list.....definitely recommended for out of town gusts if you wish to show off local dining !!
We have not been there for about 8 years. Do it was interesting to see how great and better it became. Immediate attention at arrival. Tanks ready - we did make a reservation for 4. Waiter. Bus boy. Water. Menu immediately there. Great choice. Miami Spice available. Specials clear. Food amazing wine selection appropriate. BREAD some of the best.
And deserts ? We had 4 different. All good.
So at the end a surprise. Check not do bad at all
We will do back.
