Had always loved Niche, then tried Sardella several times and was disappointed. Thrilled they have improved the menu and increased portion sizes. I’ll be back.

We had a bridal shower brunch... the staff and food was marvelous. I absolutely recommend everyone go and enjoy the food and atmosphere. We did!

Went there while I was out visiting my son. Food was fabulous we both had the Monk fish. Loved it! Had the burrata and a lamb dish for appetizers that was delicious. Tried the orange wine and wasn’t a big fan. Great wines and beers to choose from so there is something for everyone. Will definitely go again.

First time dining at Sardella and it was a wonderful experience. They had a note that it was my birthday and they made me feel extra special with a mock tail (in pregnant) and delicious ice cream to end the meal. I tried rabbit for the first time at Sardella and I liked it. I had the butternut squash pasta dish, my hubby had the steak and my two friends had the pasta with ragu. All delicious, fresh, filling and satisfying! The rolls were also really good!! I think rolls should be free, but these were worth the extra $ :). I hope your experience is as good as ours!!

Food was delicious as always and it’s a nice cozy space. No children there, and I don’t recommend bringing them there. If you want to bring your kids, go to Pasteria next door.

WE love this place. We have dined multiple times and live clode by. We brought 5 friends who had not dined with you on Saturday night and they loved it as well and all of us plan to return.

I've been to Sardella a couple times now, and everything I've ever had has been completely excellent. The pasta is, of course, amazing, but everything else I've tried has also been great -- the beer and wine lists are terrific, even the bread is terrific. We ordered the dinner rolls and compound butter and the miso butter that came with the bread was unreal. Easily one of the top restaurants in STL.

I could not believe that this restaurant was rated above Tony's in the review in the Post. They are not in the same league. The food was okay but nothing to relate to anyone.

It was a good meal with a great setting, but if I had the choice to go back, I would choose one of the other Niche Food Group Restaurants. I am not going to discredit the restaurant by any means, but for two people to spend $125 after a tip, I expected a little more than what we got. We really enjoyed the rolls with the aged butter on the app with the aged meats and pickle veggies and the drinks were very delicious. The main courses had a very high price for what is usually a cheep option, albeit they were cooked well. Definitely something to check out, but may agree with me that one time is enough.

We celebrated Valentine's Day here. The food was AMAZING! We really like how it wasn't very large portion and that we had room for dessert.

Started with fun drinks off the Sardella menu- great choices! Tempura appetizer was delicious! Braised short ribs and pasta ragu was amazing! Even saved room for dessert- a chocolate covered cake- yummy!!

Normally, we go to Sardella and it's great. Excellent food and great drinks. However, their portion size can be inconsistent. Went there a few weeks ago and got their chicken entree (it was excellent), and I could barely finish just over half the dish. Last night, went and had the monkfish, and the portion was more of one of their "small plate" portions, and actually had to order the tortelli after that to feel full keeping in mind I'm not a person that can usually take down too much in one sitting for dinner. Don't mind the wait (1 hour or so) once we put our order in to get our food assuming the food will be that good (and it usually is...), but leaving a restaurant hungry after eating an entree is a big pet peeve of mine. Be mindful of that when you go.

Many flavor surprises. The squash ravioli was vibrant and fresh. The braised short-rib had the beef flavor amped by a wonder jus. The deserts were perfectly executed. The service was very nice. This place cares about quality in everything. Try the “Thyme in a Bottle” cocktail. Savory, sweet, tart perfectly blended.

We had dinner for three on a cold wintery night, and it would have been worth driving through a blizzard to get there. The food was awesome, the service was great, and (surprisingly) the overall sound level was tolerable. The last time we were in that space, it was called Niche. This is a worthy replacement.

Delicious. Right sized portions. Highly recommend, but sit on the booth side or you’re likely to stare at the blinking red traffic light. Really like this restaurant-we will be back.

Brian Moxey is absolutely killing it. Food is deceptively simple. Hamachi Crudo and Braised Short Ribs were absolute highlights but the Roasted Chicken was also ridiculous. Kids had the burger which they sometimes have on Sunday nights (secret menu).

We dine here often and have noticed that lately the service is lacking. For instance we ordered a second bottle of sparkling water toward the end of our meal and didn’t get it until after our dessert was served. Not a drink that has to be made or anything.l, just a bottle with a screw on lid took over 30 min. So we thought they had just forgotten it. When I mentioned to the waitress that we were essentially all finished and didn’t need the bottle she looked at me confused and left the bottle. The charged me the $8 for it.
The entrée was also very salty as they have been the last couple of times we have been here.

Sardella was my best friends favorite restaurant. She passed away this last August so we decided to get together to eat there for her birthday. They took such great care of us! Even let us bring in a cake. Their food was amazing as usual and the staff were excellent!

Excellent service and fantastically delicious food !! The only one disappointment was the espresso coffee ! With an Italian dish influenced restaurant the finish should be authentic and the espresso coffee fell very short . We will definitely go back to Sardella but will be skipping our after dinner espresso .

The menu was a bit limited we thought, but we enjoyed the homemade pasta dishes, the bread was amazing, and the Mandarin Orange Sorbet was the perfect end. Our server was so helpful and even gave me two tastes of different wines to help me decide.

LOVED it. Although they sat my friend and I directly next to the only other table in the restaurant that was occupied-- and considering we were the only four people in the restaurant at that point it seemed like they could have afforded us a bit more privacy. But otherwise absolutely no complaints -- amazing food, amazing service, beautiful restaurant all around! :)

Sardella is a solid restaurant - my braised short rib dish was superb. However my husband's order of ricotta cavatelli with pork ragu was a little on the dry side. Drink pours were decent sizes. I think it's too bad to have to pay for bread service, it seems a bit pretentious. The fois gras appetizer with crostini was fantastic. Overall I appreciate the creative efforts on the part of the kitchen and will return.

We had a wonderful New Year's Day brunch. Chef Moxey and his crew do an excellent job. Sardella is a yet another yummy spot to dine in the Niche Food Group world :)

Great pre symphony dinner on nye. Have been several times and come back for the great drinks and food. Get the ravioli! Sorry can’t remember it’s name. And the dinner rolls are to die for!
