Excellent porchetta sandwich and waitress cheerfully substituted salad for potato chips. Very graciously handled.
Outstanding food and service! Love this restaurant!!
The Charred Octopus dish is amazing, the prosciutto ham and rolls is always one of our favorites. And they whipped up a great Vegan pasta and vegetable dish for my wife. And Sump coffee to top it off, it was a great meal.
First try at Sardella for brunch. Great atmosphere, casual and comfortable. Excellent staff, nice presentation of the menu. We had a variety of items including pastries. The doughnut and cinnamon roll were delicious. Ricotta pancakes also scored a 10. The Benedict Raviolo was delicious, but they were not hot, and would have been tastier if the hollandaise was warm. The potatoes were also cold by the time they reached our table and were so salty they were almost inedible. Other than those two missteps, the meal was excellent. The breakfast sandwich was stellar, and the bacon and egg sides cooked perfectly. We will be back for another try.
Crispy Spanish Octopus - Amazing.
Mussels - Excellent.
Gnocchi - Delicious. Love the Hen of the Woods with it.
Sardella is always phenomenal. We went for our anniversary dinner, which I indicated on our reservation. It’s always so fun to share several dishes. We ordered dessert and the chefs included an adorable “Happy Anniversary” placard made of chocolate and the manager brought us two glasses of champagne on the house. Really made us feel celebrated!
The food is amazing!
The service is friendly and prompt.
Every dish was heaven.
Try the Basil Olive oil ice cream dessert.
It sounded unusual & was amongst the best desserts I ever tasted.
Good. Not sure I understand the hype. Expensive and loud but the food was good.
A party of 6 totally satisfied with the food and the service. Several had the ravioli benedict and all said it was one of the best things they had ever eaten. I loved my burger but next time I will have what they had.
We came to Sardella for our anniversary. The service was unbelievably slow and they restaurant had empty tables so no excuse. We waited a good 5-8 minutes before our waitress even realized we were sitting in her section. I ordered the chicken and French toast. I really wish I was told or it should have been on the menu that the chicken is a chicken wing. I hate wings! For that price, I expected a chicken breast. My husbands burger was great. Open table inquired what we were celebrating. I selected anniversary. It was never acknowledged. So, why ask? We will try again however I am not at all impressed with the service
Our experience was good in every way except one. We ordered two "snacks," one small plate, and one main plate to share between two; the two snacks and small plate came at about the same time. It would have been nice to have a more leisurely pace. Next time we will order "snacks" and then wait to order our other courses. I would like to also thank the hosting staff; I made a mistake in the scheduling of a group reservation a few weeks back. Not only did they make every effort to accommodate our table of six, but the service and food were impeccable!
I like Sardella's dinner menu, but the restaurant's brunch menu really shines. The pancakes were crispy on the outside and creamy on the outside, exceeding all of my expectations of what pancakes can be. I liked the veggie sides, and the coffee and ambiance were also great.
The Warm Rolls were to DIE for... so so delicious. Everyone should get these no matter what!
The starters were super yummy. We were a little disappointed by the mains. They were still yummy, but the rest of the other courses just blew us away with deliciousness.
The cocktails were also very creative and tasted wonderfully.
Chicken was bland and uninspired.
This a place where you eat and you would like to eat again since the food was excellent.
OUR SERVER WAS VERY HELPFUL AND EXPLAINED OUR MEAL CHOICE OPTIONS
My best friend’s birthday. We’d go there just to talk and be in the space, but divine food and friendly people? Favorite place. Plus! They brought out a surprise bday brownie at the end, which was perfect!
Thanks to the manager Greg and his team once again my husband and I had a exceptional meal and service!!
Easy parking, nice bar for a starter, friendly knowledgeable server, meal was well paced, all three of us had excellent entrees, deserts were a perfect end. Potato leek soup, Budino, and a “whiskey Wednesday” priced Jefferson Ocean all notable.
My husband and I were so delighted with this restaurant and it's beautiful personable ladies, who waited on us! The coffee and food just delicious! Make a reservation, it appears to fill up fast! And we know why!
Great food and drinks🍸. Good service, the only draw back is the noise level and very close situated tables make you feel you are sharing your meal with strangers.
We went to Sardella’s for my birthday and they seated us in an alcove by the window. It was private and quiet. Our server greeted us with bubbling white wine ! The mixed cocktails (Manic Depression was right on target - not sweet , tart) were beyond fantastic as was the sardine toast, gnocchi and hake . Loved the roasted cauliflower too. Definitely worth the money for this special gastronomic experience !
Great food and service. Dinner was delicious, good quality and reasonable priced.
The place has nice deco but service and food was ok. Service start out good but after we order, things went down hill. I have to ask for coffee refill, my son order the donut and it was cold. I wish they warm it up since it make fresh and it will make it much better. My wife drink was not hot. Hot chocolate was not hot. I ordered the Chicken and Toast, it was good but the French toast was over cook and burn at the edge. We waited 45 minutes for our food so I didn't want to wait for them to remake it. Fried Chicken was ok. Over all, food was inventive but execution failed for us.
Food was excellent for brunch. The service was timely and attentive. Highly recommended.
Big disaappontment in this my second visit. All dishes but the salad were insanely rich with too much cream or fatty cheese. Service was scant and sporadic. Only the water server was first rate. Always interesting to see how long it takes for stl and clayton restaurants to go under. Keep up food and service like this and sardella will be the next.
So excited to try this place but disappointed in the food. Three of us ordered ribs and food temperature was barely warm and meat was tough. Waiter did not ask for feedback so couldn’t share our disappointment. The mussels and barrata appetizer were good but mediocre dinner overshadowed that course. Will probably not return.
Excellent food and service
If you love burgers and have not made it a point to get one here? You don’t like yourself. The sardella burger for brunch is a must have as quickly as you can.
Amazing food at a surprisingly reasonable price given the caliber of chef (Gerard Craft).
Unique food and good flavor, but the brussel sprouts toast is VERY brussel-sprout-y; even with the prosciutto added to it, the brussel sprout flavor just kinda takes over. Couldn't eat more than half of it because I was pretty "over it." Also, the prosciutto was undercooked and 70% fat, so I don't recommend adding it. Not worth the $2. The fresh juices and sodas are great!!
The Benedict raviolo was not really for me but everything else we ordered was good and our service was great.
disappointed... first time. expected better. app was burned....entree ok...
Delicious!! Everything here is good. Trust me. This most recent time, the chicken, baby gem salad, octopus and fish of the day were ordered. All excellent. Highly recommend.
Good dinner before a play
There were great vegetarian options. My wife and I really enjoyed the pistachio budino. Friendly staff and great service.
It was great! Our waitress was amazing!
I love the salmon and grain bowl. Been back twice for it. Must get myself to order something else. My lunch partner loved the chicken. Service is very gracious. I like the convenience of parking in the garage on a rainy day and having the ticket validated.
Fantastic gathering on Easter. The Ricotta Pancakes and the Eggs Benedict Raviolo? To die for!!!!
