The mothers of yesterday give Saraghina the inspiration it needs to craft one-of-a-kind pastas, lasagna, risotto and pizza. Start with classic antipasti, like the chef’s selection of cured meats and cheeses or the Brussels sprouts with spicy maple syrup. Saraghina has classic pizzas like the margherita, and new vegetarian-friendly pies like the winter ortolana with kale, sheep’s milk ricotta cheese and caramelized shallots. For the more sophisticated palate, the braised beef short ribs or the wild striped bass might be better choices. Saraghina offers classic Italian cuisine with an innovative twist.
