Best eggs Benedict i have ever had! And the coffee was good too.
We made a reservation to Sarabeth at 2:45 and was seated approximately 2:50. The waiter instantly came over and asked if we’d like any drinks. I got the iced tea and my dad got the orange juice. He came back again to take our orders. We were not ready, but never felt rushed or anything. When we were ready, he came over and was super attentive to our questions on the menu. Overall, the service and food were amazing. I’d definitely come again.
Very nice place to eat. ! Very good food.
We've been to this restaurant several times over the years. The food is always good but the service is consistently bad.
We started with the guacamole and crab appetizer. Crispy chips, fresh guac, radish. Yum. Even the pickiest of our family loved it. I had the tuna sandwich. I loved the flavor. Very fresh and tasty. My son had the lemon/cheese pancakes. Delicious. Highly recommend. One of our favorite stops in NY. Knowledgeable staff and friendly.
Great Place for Brunch . Nice Atmosphere and service .
Definitely a special breakfast place!
Sarabeth's is a well-known brunch spot. It deserves its popularity because the menu is absolutely amazing. Great brunch spot! Gets crowded and is on the pricey side, but worth the wait and the money.
Great service, family friendly, good food.
Absolutely love the brunches here. Food and service always terrific.
Great food! Not crowded as Sarabeth's is known more for breakfast and brunch but the food was so tasty, appetizers, entree and desserts whatever we ordered. You cannot go wrong if you are looking for a quiet, friendly, local restaurant with no crowds. But if you are looking to hang out here late, not sure this is the best place as the staff seemed to be eager to get us out before 10pm.
We had lunch at Sarabeths after a visit to the museum of Natural History. I had the burger and fries with quacamole. It was delicious. My daughter had the lemon ricotta pancakes which she said were very good and her husband had the hash which he enjoyed. My granddaughter had the children’s slider and a huge chocolate milk which she said was yummy. We had lattes and mochas which were tasty but quite small. The only downside was the price - $115 with tip.
Sarabeth came through on a very business holiday lunch/brunch time. We forgot that our neighborhood gem would be overtaken by the hordes of tourists descending on the uws at brunch/lunchtime when we made reservations with our friends. But, the staff came through...honored our request for a window table and the service was not taxed by the crowds as many restaurant staffs are. Kudos all around.
It wasn’t bad or good. It was just alright. Overprice in my opinion. Forgettable.
Great service. It's been a while since I have been here and while the food was still good, seemed a bit overpriced.
Kids friendly, good food.
If you dont mind crowds and noise (there were lots conversation noises), this place is pretty decent. Made a reservation before hand so we waited for around 10min instead of 30-45 like others in queue. Food is nice, but not as value for money as I would have thought for such a place. Hot chocolate was $8 before taxes and tips. We ordered the salmon and crab cakes egg benedicts. They are nice.
Great food, friendly and professional service. A neighborhood classic that always performs.
Really great neighborhood restaurant with good food and great service. Just note that they will NOT seat you until your entire party is present.
Great place, a real ny brunch, excellent food
We celebrated my husband’s Birthday and the food was amazing. My son says that both the pancakes and french toast is probably what they eat in heaven.
Small portions but outstanding food. Yummy lobster roll, delectable salmon cooked "medium", and delicious gnocchi. For dessert two of us split some kind of apple pastry thing topped with vanilla sorbet. It was to die for.
Much more relaxing than the upper east side location. Great service without that rushed feeling !
Restaurant was crowded as expected but the waiting area was smack in the middle of the dining room so people in coats hovered over you while you ate. Our appetizer didn’t arrive for 25 minutes and we had to ask where it was before it appeared. Incidentally it arrived the same time as the food so not an appetizer at all. Our waiter was awesome when he was around but was pretty absent for a fair amount of our visit. For all the hype I was hoping for more.
Sarabeth’s was so helpful in accommodating our ever-changing large group reservation. We also had 5 children under the age of 8 and our server, Mike, was patient and humorous with the kids. The food was delicious and we would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Nothing special, overpriced generic food. The avocado they server is not fresh (tastes like bagged avocado), orange juice was not fresh. Waited 20 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation in advance; the staff rather than taking responsibility for the delay blamed the other customers still seating on a table.
The only silver lining of the place is its very convenient location.
Sarabeth's is always a delight! The lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes are my favorite, although you really can't go won't with anything on the menu.
Everything was good as always
Delicious, good service, relaxed atmosphere...quiet and not rushed.
We have Sarabeth’s in Japan too, but I had never been there. It was the first time for me to visit there. I ate egg benedict and it was so good.
I have been to Sarabeth's several times when I have visited NYC thanks to my daughter introducing me to this wonderful place. This was my husbands first visit to the city and I wanted to treat him to a special breakfast place. This was it! He loved everything about it! Great food, delicious Mimosas and cozy place to dine before we had to catch our flight home! Can't wait for our next visit to NYC so we can dine at Sarabeth's.
I've had brunch at Sarabeth's and it was amazing, so figured I'd try dinner. Food was not good for the price - everything we ordered was sub-par. Super disappointing. Terrible service too.
Exceptional food, attentive and friendly service, classy atmosphere. We never felt rushed, always felt welcome, and I thought my husband was going to start weeping from joy because he loved his steak frites so much. Worth the price.
We had a lovely dinner! Loved the chicken pot pie and crab guacamole! The service was attentive and friendly. We would return when in the neighborhood again!
We each had the price fixe meal.. everything was delicious
We love lunch at Sarabeth’s when we are in New York City. This time we visited the Upper West Side location. I prefer the Central Park site fir ambiance, but our lunch date was great.
Happy with iced tea - served with pitcher on side for refills & plenty of lemon. Not happy with pumpkin waffle - flat & not very tasty. Friend had lobster roll which she liked. Daughter had pancakes which were okay. Restaurant too pricey for just ok. $40 for lunch pp without drinks or dessert I consider pricey. Surroundings very pleasant & service very good.
