It’s a shame. The food is great, but the service was inattentive at best.
Always enjoy a breakfast of Lemon Ricotta pancakes here at Sarabeth's. The only reason I did give them a "5" is because the pancakes were a little too dark.
Great food and atmosphere. We sat outside because it was so noisy inside. The only issue was that the table was a little tilted, but it was fine we just had to be careful. Would definitely go there again.
It's perfect Best brunch in Manhattan
French toast, amazing! Pork sausage and apricot jam, amazing. Service slow, coffee ok and had to ask for sugar and milk. Had to take neighboring empty table napkins. For the cost of food, i would expect better service at least attentiveness. Restaurant was not busy for such
This is one of our go to restaurants in one of our favorite neighborhoods. They never disappoint. The food is consistently delicious, and the service professional.
Super petit déjeuner je recommande cet établissement.
Mediocre service and overcooked burger.
It was just ok.
Excellent brunch and great cocktails. Have been here a few times. Only drawback is the noise level, and tight seating.
There was a child screaming for more than 40 minutes. Very disappointing given it was our first time out after my husband had three surgeries in a few months time. We wanted a quiet meal together. Parent never stepped outside to calm the child. I don’t think the manager ever said a word either.
Very pleasant evening on our first night in town
Food was good. Service was polite but uneven. The reason I would never go back to this restaurant is the terrible acoustics. Although there were other tables further away, the hostess sat us close to a very animated party of 30! We asked to be moved and the hostess complied but even so conversation at our table was difficult. Also, it took an eternity to get our after lunch coffees.
great yummy good swellill come back soon to savor some more
Very amall tabels , you are very close to ather people , small dishes
Non ne vale la pena.
Abbiamo fatto colazione.
Caro e tempo di attesa lungo
Service was great- super kind. Food was okay, nothing special. Ambiance wasn’t amazing for dinner time- looks like this was much more of a breakfast or brunch spot.
Our waitress seemed annoyed about my questions regarding the menu. I follow a vegan diet and needed to check on ingredients. We were not offered the happy hour menu even though it was happy hour. We had to ask for it. Also, towards the end of the meal, my friend asked if they serve bread. The waitress said yes and brought us some. Why wasn’t it brought at the beginning of the meal. Definitely had some service issues. Other than that, the food was acceptable.
The food was delicious, but the bathrooms were disgusting! Waiter should not be bartendering
It’s been spruced up and feels brighter and more welcoming than in the past. Great drink and good salad. Noise was far less than other places on UWS and service was excellent. All in all a great stand-by to meet friends. MCM
The food at Sarabeth's was delicious. Our salads were excellent and our grand daughter loved her chicken nuggets. Good service.
I’ve always loved Sarabeth’s tomato soup but it was very salty, almost inedible. My eggs Benedict was cold and the salad was soggy but with no dressing flavor.
Had a nice Father's Day brunch. Food and service were very good. It is loud so you do need to be ready for that.
Our waitress was one of the worst waitresses I have ever had - 0 personality and completely useless. She should not be in a job that requires human interaction. And it was father’s day!!
Excellent food, service, wine, and ambience! Outdoor seating is very pleasant (as is the inside). Highly recommend for a lovely experience!
It was my first visit and I will definitely visit again. The experience was memorable: the service, food, and ambiance.
Had both breakfast and dinner there. Definitely a place to recommend to friends
Good, not very busy, slow food prep. Waited for greeter
Very friendly staff. Food just above average, but beware on weekends, menu switches to “Brunch” and prices sky rocket. No pancakes should pull in $22 with no side or coffee as part of price! Because of insane prices I came away that this establishment raised the bar for being contentious. UWS WHATEVER.
Sarabeth’s is consistently solid. Never disappoints.
I like this restaurant and go there often. This time, though, they overcooked my steak.
The food just was not good. Very disappointing
I had the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. Nothing special and dry. Certainly overpriced for what they were. Orange juice was wonderful but again pricey. Service was good. Go someplace else and get a better value for your dollar.
Seated very promptly and given more than enough time to complete our meal and chat afterwards. Food also came in a reasonable time.
Not what it used to be. Visiting NY after years away. Sarabeths was LOUD and expensive and the food was nothing exceptional. It must only be crowded based on it's old reputation. It needs to try harder and not rest on its laurels. Overall - disappointing.
food was good!
I took my mom to Sarabeth’s West when she visited over Memorial Day weekend.
Let me start off by saying I ordered the $30 lobster roll. It came out on a hot dog bun, like you’d buy in a six pack in the grocery store. The hot dog bun was completely untoasted. When I bit into the lobster roll, all I could taste was dough despite a healthy amount of lobster meat.
If you’re looking for a lobster roll, go across the street to Luke’s Lobster or a few blocks up to the Mermaid Inn.
My mom had the scallops (three scallops for $28) and we split a crab cake (one small crab cake for $14). The food was good but overpriced. And, again, I ordered a $30 lobster roll that came out on a cheap hot dog bun. Not good.
For a place that prides itself on breakfast they should learn how to make omelette.
