went here and nearly hated it, loud kids and cramped awful for a date
Great ambiance. Nice place for adults and surprisingly kid friendly. Mini burger was over cooked. Cod , lobster bisque tasted great. Loved the low key setting of this location versus the other ones
Service was the only problem. Had to ask multiple times to order, for mustard, for the check. Food was great.
Sarabet's has been a favorite for my wife and I ever since we had our wedding reception at this specific restaurant nearly seven years ago. The fact that we are back here is a testament to quality and service.
Wednesday nights have jazz playing in the restaurant. They had been on Thursday, but have moved to Wednesday.
Sarabeth's does great guns for the lunch / brunch crowd. Dinnertime is generally quieter, and we like that.
We’ve never been disappointed at Sarabeth’s West.
Tuna tacos were tasty but super messy, I would use a different shell (other then Taro chips).
Steak was amazing as we the truffle fries :)
Slow and rude service. It was our weekly night out and very disappointing.
Great but too loud!
Always a good meal at Sarabeths.
Delicious and totally indulgent meal. Wednesdays have live jazz (💕💕) and half off wines — got a delicious premiere Cru burgundy for only $40. But the menu listed 2014 (the best year for the particular wine) when they actually only carried 2015. Small typo and a medium disappointment easily overshadowed by excellent food.
They were out of banana muffins. The cranberry one that came was small. Also small coffee cups for cappuccino. Mediocre omelet. No sides.
They forgot my friend’s order. While I was eating mine (so it would be warm), we had to remind several service people to bring it.
Then they sat a hyperactive little bit next to us who promptly began dropping things on the floor.
Overall mediocre at best. What a disappointment after all the hype.
The only good thing was the company I came with. Food was average at best. The hostess rolled her eyes at me for asking for a high chair for my 16 month old god son. The waiter never checked in on food. The food took forever to come out. Overall, I would not eat here again.
Fast seating with reservation. Service was great. Food exceptional - avocado toast and goat cheese omlet.
Just a nice place for brunch.
It was good
Always delicious! I had French Toast and my friend had the Chicken Salad.
I always enjoy Sarabeth's West when I am in NYC. Close to my brither's apartment and the best Eggs Benedict!!
Saw quackeroosh in the bathroom. Ambiance and Food way less the. In mid town. No good service. Many people on take out
We love Sarabeths, however we had never been to this particular location. And it was lovely. Smaller than Central Park, but really made it more ideal. More neighborly. The food was excellent, as always. Eggs benedict, and the lemon ricotta pancakes. (which are a MUST) We get the Four Flowers Mimosas, and loved every sip. They are a bit on the sweeter side, but the Four Flowers juice is their own, and its wonderful.
A definite stop if you're able to make a reservation or wait for a table. loved it.
Too noisy. Food good but cold and expensive. Not a relaxing place.
Food was great for our party of 8 and happy that we could make a reservation. I highly recommend it.
Good food, good service.
tables are a little too close together in some spots. i get it though. we did have to move. but the food was unbeatable!
Went here with 8 year old girls and both adults and kids loved their meals. The girls raves about their chocolate milk, Mac n cheese and the fries were seasoned to perfection.
I’d forgotten about Sarabeth’s! But it’s an oldie but goodie... excellent food and friendly staff and great atmosphere.
It has been here forever; nothing exceptional
Best eggs Benedict i have ever had! And the coffee was good too.
We made a reservation to Sarabeth at 2:45 and was seated approximately 2:50. The waiter instantly came over and asked if we’d like any drinks. I got the iced tea and my dad got the orange juice. He came back again to take our orders. We were not ready, but never felt rushed or anything. When we were ready, he came over and was super attentive to our questions on the menu. Overall, the service and food were amazing. I’d definitely come again.
Very nice place to eat. ! Very good food.
We've been to this restaurant several times over the years. The food is always good but the service is consistently bad.
We started with the guacamole and crab appetizer. Crispy chips, fresh guac, radish. Yum. Even the pickiest of our family loved it. I had the tuna sandwich. I loved the flavor. Very fresh and tasty. My son had the lemon/cheese pancakes. Delicious. Highly recommend. One of our favorite stops in NY. Knowledgeable staff and friendly.
Great Place for Brunch . Nice Atmosphere and service .
Definitely a special breakfast place!
Sarabeth's is a well-known brunch spot. It deserves its popularity because the menu is absolutely amazing. Great brunch spot! Gets crowded and is on the pricey side, but worth the wait and the money.
Great service, family friendly, good food.
Absolutely love the brunches here. Food and service always terrific.
Great food! Not crowded as Sarabeth's is known more for breakfast and brunch but the food was so tasty, appetizers, entree and desserts whatever we ordered. You cannot go wrong if you are looking for a quiet, friendly, local restaurant with no crowds. But if you are looking to hang out here late, not sure this is the best place as the staff seemed to be eager to get us out before 10pm.
We had lunch at Sarabeths after a visit to the museum of Natural History. I had the burger and fries with quacamole. It was delicious. My daughter had the lemon ricotta pancakes which she said were very good and her husband had the hash which he enjoyed. My granddaughter had the children’s slider and a huge chocolate milk which she said was yummy. We had lattes and mochas which were tasty but quite small. The only downside was the price - $115 with tip.
Sarabeth came through on a very business holiday lunch/brunch time. We forgot that our neighborhood gem would be overtaken by the hordes of tourists descending on the uws at brunch/lunchtime when we made reservations with our friends. But, the staff came through...honored our request for a window table and the service was not taxed by the crowds as many restaurant staffs are. Kudos all around.
