For a place that prides itself on breakfast they should learn how to make omelette.
We celebrated college graduations of our daughter and her boyfriend. The atmosphere was festive, the food outstanding and the staff attentive.
Fabulous brunch and worst service ever. The server was surly and rude. She did not respond when told “thank you” and never asked how everything was. She walked around with a grouchy look on her face. Food was fantastic however.
We used to find Sarabeth a special place for brunch. Despite an eager staff, that is no longer true. Ricotta lemon pancakes used to be thin and unusual. They are now simply ordinary. The salads use coarse greens. The Benedict’s lack hollandaise. The change is sad.
Small portions. Not that crowded, but the food took a long time. Drinks were excellent. Service was excellent
Loved coming here and the service was so wonderful! Very accommodating!
The brunch are soon good, the eggs benedict and french toast are recommended.
Delicious breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, will absolutely go again.
Cute and quaint place, but everything was just okay.
My reservation was for 3:30- I walked in around 3:20 and was seated promptly. Food was delicious especially the crab guacamole-fresh and light. Presentation as always is great. Four flowers juice (orange juice) is one of a kind and the main reason aside from main dishes and service I always return. I must say the attention to detail at this location is much better than the other in my opinion.
Very noisy with mediocre live music nobody is interested in. You don't come to a restaurant to enjoy live music: you come for good food and conversations with your company.
Food was served on low warm plates and cooked down rapidly
Really amazing meal. The roast duck was sublime, and the mahi-mahi super fresh. They've upped their food game recently, and service is good!
Both my friend and I felt the food was not warm enough. I had the short rib hash and she had eggs Benedict. The hash was a warmer than her eggs but could have been warmer for sure.
We were not able to sit at the time of our reservation because other tables had not left but the staff and management were great with keeping us updated. The table service was wonderful once we sat down and they couldn’t have been nicer. We will definitely go back. Thanks!
Sunday brunch was spectacular.
Very nice space, the food is good and the service prompt. The servings were very generous and the orange juice fresh and cold. The eggs Benedict could have used more hollandaise, but were served with a salad, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, on this visit the eggs Benedict were cold.
The food portions were very small but not in a sophisticated way. The adult grilled cheese wasn’t even big enough for a child. Also there wasn’t much taste; very bland pasta.
Sarabeth's is always reliable for good, but not great, food. The ingredients are always fresh and cooked well. It's also usually quiet and the tables aren't on top of each other. There aren't any surprises ever, but that's OK. We go there when we don't want to experiment, just have a satisfying meal. The wine list is OK, fine actually, but not great. Sarabeth's West is expensive for what it is, though, and the bread basket, which used to have fresh biscuits and bread is now below mediocre. We are, though, grateful that this neighborhoody restaurant, the place where you'd go for a quiet meal at the end of a rough day when you just want a decent dinner and are too tired to cook, or the place you'd go to celebrate a family birthday with 10 people including children, is still here. We hope it stays forever.
atmosphere and service are very nice!!
So I will go again with my friends.
Great out of towner experience!
Great esperienze, excelent food and service, all was great
If you want a fabulous breakfast, although pricey, this is where you should head for a real treat. The food is always fresh, beautifully prepared and served. Given that it's always VERY busy, service isn't quite top notch, but they cover all the bases!
It was yummy
Scallops overcooked and coffee cold despite very few diners to deal with. Not up to our Sarabeth's East experiences. Thursday night jazz group a little too loud for comfortable table conversation.
Sarabeth’s is always great. Whether for breakfast, brunch or dinner, the food is excellent, the atmosphere warm, and the service friendly and responsive. It gets very busy on weekends for brunch, but it’s worth the wait. It also is a great find during less busy time periods. One of our favorite places.
Way overpriced for mediocre food.
The service was fantastic. Best experience I’ve ever had at the restaurant in that regard. The lobster roll in terms of taste is one of the best in town. But it seems like it shrunk since the last time I had it because it’s nowhere near worth $30.
Great food, with a refined presentation. Professional staff and a casual ambiance.
Lovely place for a regular meal or a special occasion.
Love Sarabeth's! If you have not had the Adult Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup you are in for a treat!
Nice spot loved the food. Drinks were delicious.
Nice menu choices. Food prepared well. Friendly service. Comfortable setting.
Overall the pancake, French toast and omelette we ordered for breakfast were delicious. The Chicken Apple sausages were dry. Nice homey ambiance for a get together with friends. Service was attentive and courteous. Would definitely go back when we’re back in NYC.
Great Muffins , french toast, coffee and a great place to start your day. Easy walk to the natural history museum.
The food was ok but overall the place wasn't great. It was loud and service was not very attentive. I would go here again.
Great place for a weekend brunch. We had a nice table in the charming window front. Service was friendly, and we were not made to feel rushed at all, even though it was very busy. Food was delicious.
