Great food, with a refined presentation. Professional staff and a casual ambiance.
Lovely place for a regular meal or a special occasion.
Love Sarabeth's! If you have not had the Adult Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup you are in for a treat!
Nice spot loved the food. Drinks were delicious.
Nice menu choices. Food prepared well. Friendly service. Comfortable setting.
Overall the pancake, French toast and omelette we ordered for breakfast were delicious. The Chicken Apple sausages were dry. Nice homey ambiance for a get together with friends. Service was attentive and courteous. Would definitely go back when we’re back in NYC.
Great Muffins , french toast, coffee and a great place to start your day. Easy walk to the natural history museum.
The food was ok but overall the place wasn't great. It was loud and service was not very attentive. I would go here again.
Great place for a weekend brunch. We had a nice table in the charming window front. Service was friendly, and we were not made to feel rushed at all, even though it was very busy. Food was delicious.
A perfect place for brunch before an event at The Beacon Theater! Loved it!
We had.a very mixed experience. When we arrived we were shown to a very nice booth for two people. The hostess said she thought we would like it very much and she was right. We ordered two dishes, the seafood Cobb salad and -fried ricotta gnocchi. When I asked for fresh ground black pepper to go with the gnocchi I was told there is pepper in the shaker on the table we don’t have a pepper grinder.. The seafood Cobb salad was quite good with a lot of fresh seafood and avocado. On the other hand, the gnocchi was extremely disappointing. The gnocchi and shells was mash potatoes that have been lightly pan fried, the Ricardo was undetectable house was the truffle oil in the sauce.
From the time we were served until we finished eating, nobody stop by the table to see how we were doing. Finally someone came over and I told her about the gnocchi, which I had only eaten a very small amount of. She apologized and comped the price which was appreciated. We then ordered the caramelized banana sundae which was extremely good.
They could do a lot to improve the level of service and perhaps I was just unlucky with the dish I ordered.
Lovely place, excellent chicken salad. I would go back and I would recommend.
Great service. Great food.
Very charming place with great choices for lunch/brunch. Crowded on weekends until 2/3 pm.
Sarabeth's is a go to when we are in NYC to feed our nostalgia. We had a large party for brunch on a Sunday am. It was packed. There was also a wedding party. The tables we were seated at were right by the door so waiting customers were right behind us. This made for a loud brunch as well as a bit of bumping. The food was very good but prices are high! Service was meh....mostly because of the overcrowding. We asked for separate bills but it was consolidated. I do recommend if you have never been but if I still lived in the city, I might choose a different location.
Dinner: Service and food less than mediocre
Expensive for what we got.
No plans to go back there again.
Brakfast at Sarabeth’s was probably the best meal we had. Highly recommend the goldie lox and chicken/apple sausage. Salmon eggs benedict was great. Coffee is great too. Service fast and attentive. Perfect spot before the American Museum of Natural History.
Delicious food. Great service.
The most bland food I’ve ever had in Manhattan. Not sure what’s going on. But I would never return and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Visited for Sunday brunch. Very busy, so glad we booked. Smoked salmon and cream cheese omelette was excellent - one of the best I’ve had.
Lovely small areas to dine. I was disappointed there was no pumpkin waffle! The service was on point. Would have enjoyed a small offering served while waiting on your food, like a mini muffin with Sarabeth famous preserves. Overall was lovely.
All 3 of us enjoyed our lunches. Food was delicious, good quality and quantity. Our waitress was fantastic, informative, quick, fun to speak to. Our table was comfortable in the back area. The $26 prix fixe is an excellent value. I would suggest that the online website be updated-prices and menu selections are wrong.
Excessive wait of approx 30 mins despite having a reservation.
GREAT PLACE FOR A SUNDAY BREAKFAST ON THE UPPER WEST SIDE..
We have been coming to sarabeths for years specifically for the potato waffles. When we gave our order, the waiter told us the waffle maker was broken. This was quite frustrating traveling from nj for this specific menu item; but what made it worse, when we left about 45 minutes ago we saw someone being served potato waffles. It was never mentioned after the fact that perhaps they got the waffle maker up and running. I expect better from this establishment especially for the 22 dollar brunch item! Other than that the food was very good and service decent.
Overall, very pleasant dining experience. Food was well prepared. Wine was enjoyable. Service was well paced and courteous. Wasn't crazy about table - near door and cold draft. I expected better given with a reservation and not a full crowd. Recommend the Key West location also, if traveling in that area.
I prefer Sarabeth’s for breakfast and brunch. There were limited offerings on the dinner prix fix menu. Food was good. Tomato soup was the best ever. Still a limited dinner menu. Noise level was quite loud
Great food and service, what else needs to be said!
First time at this location on the upper west side! Food was delicious- I had the eggs Benedict with salmon, my daughter had the traditional eggs Benedict and we split potatoes which was a huge portion. Food was fresh and delicious! Server was very nice and full of suggestions! DefinAtely will return!
Lovely, intimate neighborhood feel. Decor needs a little sprucing up. Perfect spot for a business breakfast as well as one one one. Food was delicious and efficiently presented. Latte's outstanding!
Server was lovely and everything else was perfect:)
the lobster roll was very good and the menu seems to have something for everyone. Service is good anf attentive,
Everything was great! Staff was Welcoming, Food was great, service was gracious, friendly, efficient. Our “welcome to Manhattan” brunch for an out of town bereaved friend was just perfect.
Absolutely loved it! Loved up to my expectations!
Egg and kale salad is delicious with a very generous side of scrumptious toast with lovely jams and butter. Server very nice.
Unfortunately, the pot of hot water leaked and spilled over the side of the table and on to my leg- ouch!
Seems like the place needs a bit of a paint job. And the food isn’t cheap!
Really enjoyed our meal at Sarabeths. The service was excellent, a lovely, quiet atmosphere and very good food...especially dessert! Will definitely be back next time I'm in the city.
