Sapori Trattoria Ratings and Reviews
We were seated promptly and even though it was a busy Friday night we felt like the service was outstanding- never were we waiting for the server to come back to our table. The food was delicious and our wine glasses were always full. Great value, service, and food!!
This is one of our daughters favorite restaurants. It was our first time and everything was wonderful. They were incredibly busy but so well organized. The portions are very big (!) great for sharing. Everyone that works there smiles and is friendly, even as they run around. This staff works hard. The bread is warm and delicious. My husband said it was one of the best meat lasagnas he has ever had. Would definitely return.
We had to wait for a table to open up even though we had reservations, however we fully understood because they were fully committed the whole evening. They definitely know what they’re doing and the lasagna portion was huge! They’re food and it’s quality is great! Would love to come back. Also our server (forgot his name) was very nice. It was a very busy night but he never forgot our table!
My fiancé and I have been to Sappori many times and have always really loved it. It was a somewhat significant restaurant in our relationship; we went there on an early date, she met my parents there, etc. we’ve recommended it to a number of other people. So naturally we decided to go there the night we got engaged. They did nothing for us and we were so disappointed - no dessert or anything even after I put it on the reservation and told the waitress. The service was also so slow and terrible. It made the night feel less special and was a real bummer. We’d originally considered the restaurant as a location for our rehearsal dinner, but now it’s probably off the table. Every other time we’ve been in we’ve loved it, but they let us down when it really counted.
One word....Amazing, Our evening started with The owner himself, allowing us to park in front of the restaurant instead of the arranged parking at Home Depot, we were seated at a table a table for two , and the owner had employees slide the table next to us over so we would not be crowed....Next came this absolutely attentive and knowledgeable waitress named Grace. Her service was impeccable and ALL of her food and drink choices were a hit. I ate the Seafood dish that had Mussels, clams, freshly made Pasta, scallops, shrimp , fish and calamari. My mouth exploded with pleasure. The sauce/broth was indescribably delicious Im not a fan of Italian restaurants, but this place has skyrocketed to the top 5 of my restaurant choices . Please go and experience this place. It had a 98% rating on Opentable.....They were cheated. How can this "not" have a 100% rating is beyond me. Reasonably priced as well.
We went for an early Sunday evening dinner at Sapori Trattoria and were delighted! We were seated upstairs, our server Megan was knowledgeable and offered suggestions when we asked, but did not push. The grilled calamari was an excellent starter. My husband raved that the sea bass was the best he'd ever had. We will definitely be back to Sapori Trattoria!
We have been here 4 times. We like the food although would much prefer to have a normal size portion than to have two or three nights of leftovers. The last time we went we were seated upstairs and the noise was deafening, the room was probably over filled and too many people speaking loudly in an exposed brick room is really unpleasant.
Never Disappoints! We having been coming here for several years and when we had some friends visiting from Michigan we decided to bring them here. Everyone loved the food and the service by Ernesto was superb! The lasagna was perfect and great for sharing. One of our friends had the pumpkin ravioli and loved it. Everyone time we come here I must have the avocado crostini it is fabulous. We will be back soon!
The highest quality of traditional Italian fare. Every dish was excellent (5 entrees and grilled calamari to die for!!!). This was our second visit and we weren’t disappointed! Same waitress both visits -excellent service. Huge portions -take home for a second meal. Freshest pastas. This has become our neighborhood go-to for reliably good food. Lots more menu options to try! We can’t wait!
