Very expensive seeming for what it was that you actually got. Especially the calamari and bruschetta appetizer. At $35 a plate I’d think maybe a side salad would be included. The seating situation was odd. I get it that they did what they could with the pandemic, but we kept getting misted on. At $175 with only 2 glasses of wine, 4 meals and 2 apps it just seemed steep. The food was good but not 5 stars... I don’t know. I’m appreciative of having somewhere to celebrate despite closures. Better for date night. Not great for kids.

We had the best time dining in an enclosed igloo at Sapori last Saturday! Our server, Tony, was great and the entire restaurant was very covid-conscious. Water was served in water bottles and the servers didn’t come into the igloos, just reached around the door (which zips closed!). Olive oil and grated Parmesan for bread was served in individual ramekins for each guest. The entire experience felt very safe and the food was amazing per the usual. Definitely make a reservation!!

Great to have personal bubbles with a heater to stay warm. We had both risotto dishes that were so good. Lots of food. The burratta appetizer was amazing too - would get that again and again.

We had a wonderful dinner dining in the “bubble” on the patio! Our sever was great and he was always checking in on us. We appreciated it being BYOB (the $10 cork fee as much). We will be back again!

We were accommodated in an outdoor bubble for dinner. It was cozy thanks to a portable heater. I felt even safer then before. Our server had less physical contact with us while all the while not diminishing his great attention to our service. Sapori Trattoria is doing the utmost for safety and their food standards are still amazing.

Due to Covid, we dined outside in a plastic bubble! It was rather romantic! The server stayed outside the bubble as much as he could. We felt very protected at the same time enjoying a delicious dinner. We ordered the frutti de mare spicy... perfect! Kudos to Chef Anthony and staff!

The food is incredible hands down. It’s worth the wait but we did wind up sitting 50mins after our reservation, luckily we could order wine at the bar so that held us over. Our waitress forgot to put in our app but remember our meal so we didn’t wait too long to eat it was just disappointing we didn’t get it because I am sure it was delicious. My boyfriend got the lobster ravioli and it was amazing. Buttery cream sauce and homemade Ravioli stuffed with real seafood. I got the pennette and it was just as good. The artichokes were a strange addition but very welcome. When we arent in a pandemic I bet this place is 5 stars.

We ate in one of their bubbles outside. Unfortunately there isn’t a way to heat them but it protected us from the wind and some cold. The food and drinks were delicious. Since I noted in the reservation that it was a birthday dinner we got menus that said happy birthday and free tiramisu - the extra touches were appreciated and we’ll be back.

Food was incredible. That is definitely what I will remember the most about it. I had the carbonara and it was by far the best I’ve ever has. We went in the midst of covid and we were served bottles of water, oil and cheese in disposable cups, and disposable menus. I felt extremely safe eating here! Tables were spaced appropriately. My only critique is that the third floor lacked ambiance as Opposed to the first floor. I was wishing for some music to drown out the table next to me but I also understand the masks make it hard to communicate so it needs to be a little quieter.

Sapori Trattoria states that they take reservations, however, it really is a first come, first served basis. We arrived at 8:20pm, our reservation was at 8:30pm but we did not get seated until 9:20pm and did not interact with a server until 9:40pm. Their method of seating guests is anything but organized and in fact, the hostess completely passed over our party and sat several other couples before us. When I asked her what happened she denied she had skipped me until I showed her my name on her notepad that had been mistakenly crossed off. While the food is very good, it is extremely overpriced. Any pasta dish that is $25 is absurd in my mind. Our server was very kind, however, we had to flag him down anytime we needed anything (water, menu, check) which got to be frustrating and made for a less than relaxing evening. I have dined at this restaurant many times before and have always had a great experience, which is why I returned, however, after this experience I will not be back nor will I recommend it. I can foresee that unfortunately, despite their lovely space and good food, this restaurant will soon go out of business due to poor service and dwindling customer recommendations.

This place was awesome before the pandemic but they really stepped things up to create an lovely and safe dining experience. I was able to comfortably go on my first dinner date with the woman I’ve been seeing the last 3 months. We will be back!
