   The price of food on the menu is almost like 5 star restaurant (very expensev) but the quality is worse than fast food. I ordered their special (chicken scampi ) the food arrived faster than fast food. the chicken was cold and the chef toped it with hot butter to make it warm. my husband ordered steak medium cook but it arrived well done and it was hard to chew. the decor reminds me of hotels in the meddle of no where with smell. we request window seat for view but the windows were so dirty that you can even see the view. we spent 200 and came home hungry as we didn't eat our food. very disappointment. this place should be no longer in business. awful .....

   I had the caesar salad and the lasagna and both were really good. The service was great. My waiter was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. And the views from this restaurant are amazing! I would definitely recommend eating here!

   First off, the view is beautiful. It overlooks most of heavenly on one side, and the other overlooks the Nevada-side mountains, so it looked pretty. Had a 6pm reservation, showed up a little early but got seated immediately with super friendly servers and bussers - staff were super friendly and a pleasure to chat with. Now the food. Goodness, the food. We had mussels as an app, and the sauce they were served in really complemented the dish and was tasty overall. I got the shrimp scampi, date got lobster gnocchi, and lemme tell ya. Fresh, delicious, perfectly portioned and it just was some of the best Italian I’ve had in a long time. I’m very much looking forward to coming back! Definitely a place to recommend.

   Shrimp pasta dish very bland,no flavor..lamb chops excellent, lasagna excellent, chicken parmigiana doesn’t come with pasta. Only chicken and eggplant marinara. It was ok..service was very good. Got a little noisy after awhile. Overall, nice but don’t think we’ll go back. A little pricey

   We first tried Sapori in 2023 when visiting from Maui, HI and fell in love with the amazing, delicious and authentic Italian food and instantly new this would be a "Go-To" for us on EVERY visit to South Lake Tahoe, not just as a visitor to Harrah's or Harvey's. TRULY some of the best Italian food I've tasted, and in all honesty, I will rate above ALL other restaurants at Harrahs Harvey's. Why? Authentic flavorful food! Impeccable service. No inflated social media prices. The SAME if not better lake views than every other restaurant both resorts. Not so crowded, beautiful space, views. No "fluff-n-stuff" from others, i won't mention. I would take my parents here. I would celebrate special occasions here. The FOOD IS PHENOMENALLY simple, yet authentic, and if you think NO on Italian because it's filling?.... I dare you to try their version of lasagna! MIND BLOWING. EVERY DISH we've tried 10+ I recommend almost everything, and "almost" is only given because I've only been there 5 times (I live in Maui) and have not yet tried the whole menu. That being said... omgosh I recommend IT ALL. The one and only suggested improvement is to the appetizer artichoke.... it was tasty; however, I was hoping for the traditional ITALIAN deep fried choke versus the laborious marinated wedges, which I'm not sure weren't Pre-prepped/marinated? Oops. The only Oops I've found in 5 visits. We literally loved our food so much that we ended up swapping samples amongst 3 neighbor tables and made some good friends in the process. All of us concurred 10+ Heres my HOPE. I live in Maui, and would LOVE this restaurant in my neighborhood! I HOPE locals support this place through ALL seasons. You will truly miss this restaurant! In closing.... we've had STELLAR, literally STELLAR service, matched by NOT A SINGLE RESTAURANT in Tahoe EVERY SINGLE VISIT. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT MISS THIS RESTAURANT!!!! PS... thanks to Scott for you're filling in tonight. You did a STELLAR job!

    We had a great dinner like always. Our server Don was phenomenal! He was very attentive and made sure everything came out perfect. We will be back again in 2 weeks and can’t wait.
