Sapore Vero - Hither Green
As well as sourcing the best Italian ingredients, we’ve also developed our own special pizza base recipe. Our UNICA pizza dough is made with a multigrain blend of flours that is vitamin-rich and packed with fibre while delivering the same delicious taste. Low in sugar and high in antioxidants, this is pizza that is good for you!
Our restaurants are a little corner of Italia in south east London. Cosy but elegant, with the warmth of family-friendly service delivered with the best wood-fired pizza you’ll find outside of Naples. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

This is a great local restaurant. The service was lovely - really helpful and friendly as we needed them to be a bit flexible. Our food was great and the whole place has a lovely feel. Staff are great so I would definitely recommend.

We had tried take-away pizzas several times and were keen to try the dine-in experience. It was excellent. Really good food in all 3 courses and attentive but light-touch service. perfect!

Great lunchtime menu that I felt was good value for money. Not sure where they sourced their background music from but they played some fantastic tunes whilst we were there.
Only two things I could mark them down on was my starter was luke warm and for a midweek lunchtime sitting I felt the service could of been faster.

Sapore never fails to impress. Their pizzas are always amazing. Now they have a lunch offer of £10.95 for 2 courses and its brilliant value. I had truffle arancini balls and minestrone soup. Delicious.
We have always had take away pizzas from them all the way back from their van outside the station at Hither Green.

We sat outside for lunch in this now much quieter enjoyable street. The staff were very accommodating to our changes in numbers and requests. Food was perfect, and great value too.
We dined at Sapore Vero My husband and I and our two children on Saturday evening for the first time. The staff were lovely and attentive and the food was great. We will definitely return.
