                                                                                        The food has really gone down hill recently. My husband ordered the prime rib as it was the special and it was awful, dried out and very tough. I ordered nashville chicken sandwich that did not seem like it was 100% chicken breast and tasted like BBQ sauce not nashville hot. Service was sub par for only 2 tables and 1 server

                                                                                        First of all, the food was excellent and we enjoyed that. We may have caught them at a bad time due to the holiday but our server, although very friendly, could answer no questions we asked her regarding beers they offer or the price of anything marked market price. We have a bad habit of wanting to know the price of something before we purchasse it. The ambience was zero - based on the small number of customers and their attire, we could have been at the Waffle House. Considering we googled “good dining experience near me” and Sapona Grille popped up first, we were disappointed.

                                                                                        Food was greasy. Eggs cooked on griddle with sausage, bacon. Thought pancakes had fruit in them, however, a food compote. Will try lunch the next time.

                                                                                        I made reservations online for Mother's Day and did not see anywhere saying this was a special menu, or anything different than the usual brunch menu which they have posted on the website. The usual menu has meals for $10-14. Upon arriving for the meal we saw the Mother's Day special buffet was $45 for adults and $25 for children! We decided to go ahead, and I will say the food was excellent, I just wish we had known what to expect. It's possible I just missed a posting about it somewhere. I believe this is the most expensive meal we've ever had anywhere, though for the quality of food provided the price is probably competitive. Unfortunately, then the bill came, and we found there was also a 22% service charge for servers, when there was no table service other than clearing plates, and an additional service fee for using a credit card. All in all, it was a great experience, with great food, we were just a bit shocked at spending over $100 more than expected!

                                                                                        Spona had a great relaxing friendly atmosphere. The service was excellent and the food great. I enjoyed the choices of the menu and cocktails.

                                                                                        Service was rushed and consistently missed simple things like taking menus, empty drinks, no steak knives for steaks.. steak was so thin no possible way to cook it other than medium well. Food was decent but not much better than a middle class restaurant, 22% gratuity for subpar service and overpriced food was a surprise. Wouldn’t recommend.
