The glamorous layout of the restaurant translates beautifully, whether it's a girly lunch in Belfast, a romantic evening, night out with friends, family gathering or private party venue; the intimate dining room is perfect for all occasions.
Awesome! Food and ambiance was extraordinary!! Service was exceptional! Loved it!!
Impressive surroundings and thoroughly enjoyed the 5 course tasting menu. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
Staff are excellent and well trained. Food is delicious and great value. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a quality experience at affordable prices.
Lovely food and great service, a hidden treasure. Fantastic gin and cocktail menu
Food was very good, a was wine pairings. Waiter unfortunately spoilt the experience.
Thoroughly enjoyed the saphyre experience -I had a great time .i will definitely come back I had no complaints except maybe more wine which was superb!
Loved it but pricey
Decor is lovely and staff are wonderful. Very friendly and efficient . Drinks very pricey but a one off treat
Beautiful surroundings, excellent service and amazing food
Excellent food and excellent service - best restaurant ever visited in Belfast. On its way to a Michelin star I would guess
Delicious food and drink with some live music on a Saturday afternoon. Will be back for a tasting menu soon!
Sumptuous surroundings, a warm welcome. The menu at lunchtime has exactly the right amount of choice, we had rwo different plates to begin and again two different main courses. Each dish perfectly executed, full of flavour. Service is attentive yet discreet. Champagne by the glass (always a great idea) Delicious cheese and coffee to finish. It wa my first visit but it certainly won't be my last.
The food is really nice and staffs are nice
Fabulous setting, food and staff. Only downfall was the length of time between courses. We went for the 7 course tasting with wine pairing and waited an hour for our first course and by the end of the second hour were only starting our 3rd course. Excuses given was that there was a large group in. However when your paying over £200 for two people that is not an excuse
Awesome! Recommend for everyone! 5 meals course is amazing!
Outstanding in every way.. and already looking forward to our next visit...
Fabulous restaurant with great tasting menu and service. Unique setting and knowledgeable wine staff.
Beautiful food and paired wines on the tasting menu. Very attentive staff - a lovely treat for our anniversary! Kindly treated to a surprise glass of Prosecco on arrival too. Would definitely return and recommend.
Fabulous dining experience. Food is delicious and staff are great.
Friends joint 50th birthday dinner. Outstanding in every sense. Heavenly decor. Exceptional service. Creative, thoughtful, well executed cooking. A total hit. We loved it.
Unexpected pleasure in Belfast - wonderfully sumptuous surroundings, fantastic food, attentive service
I have already recommended Saphyre to a friend. Probably the best restaurant in N Ireland.
Always a delight so relaxing have been on several occasions and haven’t had any issues. We will definitely be back..
Saphyre is awesome. The food there is nice and great taste. There is live music on Saturday and I will definitely go again.
First time there. Really enjoyed it and service was excellent by waiter that we had
Great venue. Graduation dinner. Surroundings impressive, staff attentive-excellent. Food excellent standard, very flavoursome ,interesting and well presented. Value for money? You get what you pay for and the overall cost is well worth it. I am happy to recommend this fine dining experience and look forward to another special occasion when I can return.
Four of us went for lunch on a Saturday. The food was absolutely fab but loses 1 star because the Korean chicken starter was supposed to have a sauce and whilst delicious, was too dry and my main course tartare sauce was put onto a very hot plate which caused it to curdle/congeal which was very unpleasant. The dècor is stunning, the staff were awesome, friendly and attentive but not overwhelming. The ambience was great but without the live music we felt that it would have lacked atmosphere. Very small downsides and we would definitely go back!
Went for lunch to celebrate our son’s graduation. Ate off the lunch menu and all 3 courses were exceptional. Will be back. Would be keen to try their tasting menu.
Excellent food and service. Live music was great but just a bit too loud to
Be able to hold a conversation
This was our first visit so I had no clue what to expect. The interiors and decor are amazing. Lots of attention to detail in particular the door handles! The plates were beautiful too. The staff were lovely. The approach was perfect, not too stuffy or pretentious but discreet and polite too. We had a few laughs with various staff members and were made to feel super welcome.
The food was superb from start to finish. We chose the a la carte menu and it was all perfect. I don’t drink so had a lovely mocktail mojito while my husband had a beer and a couple of glasses of Malbec which he loved. Coffee to finish to finish off which was strong and rich! Just how I like it. Overall, a fabulous experience and I would highly recommend it.
The was our 1st visit to Saphyre and will definitely be back. The experience was amazing as was the atmosphere and service. We dined from the a la carte menu which was fantastic. We were made feel very welcome. Could not fault a thing.
We had the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairing and everything was absolutely sublime. We were even treated to complimentary amuse bouche and petit-fours! Made our anniversary evening extra special 😊
Saphyre is located in a stylish renovated church. My wife and I had the 7 course tasting menu with matching wines. With the exception of the third course (Turbot as I recall, which was not well thought-through) all of the dishes were well executed. However, there was a bit of repetition in accompaniments, particularly the use of peas and girolles, which seemed a bit lazy at this price point and gave a 'same-y' quality to a few of the dishes. Still the ingredients were very fresh and the menu well balanced for the most part. A particular commendation for the wine pairing, which was spot-on and the best we've had for a tasting menu.
Consistently good, we have been here many times now and never had a bad meal or service. The food is excellent, it looks like a work of art and the staff and decor remain top class! Back in a couple of weeks when the menu changes!
Staff , food and decor lovely .. great experience and would recommend
The food was excellent; the service and attention to detail were superb.
The ambiance and surroundings are unparalleled in Belfast.
Thank you Jonathan for your attentiveness on Saturday evening.
Second only to a restaurant in a castle in Poitiers, France.
Food pairing genius, desserts were perfect, not a hint of ‘sweetness’ just exquisite flavour.
7 course tasting, plus the wine recommended worked, a gifted sommelier.
The gardens front and back added up to a venue of distinction.
Excellent food and beautiful place to eat! Would definitely recommend saphyre to a friend
Our daughter bought us a voucher and we decided to go for lunch.
It was absolutely divine. Food gorgeous, Service very very friendly.
We have been several times before, in the evening, and have always
enjoyed the experience. We have recommended SAPHYRE to friends.
Hope to come for lunch when my daughter is next home from Edinburgh.
I'm tall and the seating did not really suit me by the window. Especially if you are going for the 7 course taster. But everything else was very good.
Great restaurant with creative dishes, nice environment and friendly staff.
