Amazing looking venue, instagram Heaven. Almost empty during a weekday lunch (ie quiet and lots of space). Sadly, only two cruelty free/vegetarian options on the whole menu, which seems like a lost opportunity. Would definitely have been back otherwise, but might return for just drinks sometime.

I never had a chance to go. But I communicated with the restaurant the whole time. I advised them at 9:05 that I wouldn’t be able to make it. And I was told that “it’s ok love”! Everything was good. Then two hours later an attempted charge of $30 bucks was almost taken out of my account. My bank considered it fraudulent and denied it but imagine. SMH. I wasn’t a no show I still cancelled by calling them. It would not allow me to cancel on here like normal restaurants. Next time I hope to have time to actually sit down and eat. ✨🫶🏼🤎.

The place has cute ambience. The food was amazing even though they said they ran out of churrasco and salmon. I’m not sure how that happens on a Sunday during brunch. The service was terrible!! We felt rushed the whole time, waitresses were not friendly and inattentive. They were pre occupied with an event they were having that day (a wedding) which took away from the customers that were there for a good dining experience. Which is probably why the menu was restricted. Overall, it was a disappointment as I was looking forward to that place for years.

They did t have coffee at brunch which was strange. The food was good but nothing crazy. Don’t live super close so probably won’t be going back.

Made a reservation online and was told we couldn’t be seated upon arrival when the place was nearly empty. Server was also super rude. Somehow I was charged 45 dollars on my card when I was never even seated. I will never come back here and you should not waste your time trying to come here either. I usually don’t even leave reviews, let alone bad ones but I feel like this was much needed to help save other people from the headache.

Been here a couple of times but this night had the worst service of my life. Crazy long waiting times, told an entree wasn’t available as the other food ordered came out.. just overall horrible. The manager made up for it at the end of the night but I wish the server had been transparent about it being his first week at the job.

Pros: FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!! I cannot wait to revisit so I can try the steak and shrimp. This was my first time going to Santiago’s and the music was a vibe and my waitress was very nice, polite, pretty and pleasant. Cons: Very small atmosphere, seating not very comfortable, I would suggest tables without slits in them… and the busy boy was very rude and inpatient he continued to clean and reach over me and my party as we were eating… he even threw away my garlic sauce that i was not done with and before i noticed he came and took it off my table smh

I had a bday brunch. Although they are accommodating to an extent. They had annoying limitations and fees when it come to the bday cake which we just asked them to light it up n bring to the table to sing happy bday supposedly that’s a 30 dollar extra charge. For the bottomless mimosas they wanted whoever was drinking to sit on one side which was not stated prior to us sitting which i found odd. Also had to tell them to come back multiple times so we could get our orders in as the waitress kept leaving. cute ambiance and great food but poor service overall. I would definitely recommend tho bc it is a nice place.

Service with too slow when the food is already prepared up front, so all they needed to do was plate it and serve it. Their system charged you double . For example, if your order was $20 it took $40 out of your card. And if you want bottomless mimosas? The whole table has to be included (even if they don’t drink) which is dumb

The food was great but the service was absolutely horrible which is why this was a one and done experience for me. We started off with a female waitress and by the end of the night ended up with a bus boy as our "waiter". I wasn't even going to give a tip because the food took way too long to come out, no one asked if we wanted more drinks, and the manager just kept walking past us. Even people who came after us got their food first. Just a terrible representation of the community. They need new management.

The card machine wasn’t working and we wasn’t told until after we sat down. We was sat in the corner where the air conditioning was not pointing at us. Horrible and I will never return.

The waiter was very friendly and funny but he didn’t come around to make sure me and my friends were good. Whenever we wanted to order anything we needed to call him. They also told us last minute that the credit card machine wasn’t working so we needed to pay cash. They did offer complimentary tequila shots for the inconvenience but it would have saved us time to know about the machine. The food was good but we found it pricey.

Chicken chunk dishes are unusually terrific. But they are inconsistent. Garlic shrimp was yummy. Rice dishes were sublime. Service has vastly improved. Worth a trip to East Harlem

This reservation was for my sisters bachelorette celebration. Everyone loved the food! The fishing boat appetizer was a hit as were the fried chicken chunks. Our server (Can’t remember his name, sorry… blame the coconut mojitos!) started off very helpful and attentive, but by the end, it was like he forgot about us… We had to look for him and flag him down. It was also my birthday and he offered my sister and me celebratory desserts, which I assumed would be complimentary… I was surprised to see them show up on the bill. Overall, we had a great time, but the sitting and waiting for the bill at the end definitely brought our energy down and wasn’t the best conclusion to our time at Santiago’s. Members of the party said they would come back, though, so they weren’t completely turned off by the experience.

So glad that I got a chance to visit. The food was amazing. Our waiter was kind. The vibe was super comfortable and chill. I gave a 3 for ambiance because it was super humid inside. There were fans, no ac (at least it seemed like it). Overall i would come back again.

I had a great experience at Santiago’s. We sat in the garden area and dined there on a Sunday for their bottomless brunch. The music was good and loud and the restaurant had a great ambiance. The service was pretty good considering how busy it was. Bottomless brunch was $28 with the purchase of a meal. I ordered garlic shrimp with white rice and beans and it was delicious! I would definitely recommend this spot if you are looking for a good weekend brunch vibe.
