The food is simply delicious. Uncomplicated and not fussy. The vibe is mellow and relaxing. Love how the waitstaff made suggestions …which were excellent and very thoughtful. Marta herself came out to chat and thank her patrons which further added to the restaurant’s charm. The croquettes, calamari, seafood paella all washed down by a thoughtfully suggested Cabernet Sauvignon were top notch. The basque cheesecake is the grand finale to a meal that felt like a warm hug from family. Absolutely welcoming and if you haven’t visited them, you must.

Such a perfect spot for a date night! We sat by the windows that open up onto Dundas and it was perfect. The food was incredible, croquetas were some of the best I’ve ever had. The service was wonderful!! We will definitely be back, so glad we stumbled upon this place!

My wife and I stayed in Andalusia for 3 months. So we feel we have a good grasp of how Spanish food in that region should taste like. We’ve been craving for paella and we got some good ones (Valenciana and Negra) from this place. Croquettes and Garlic Shrimp were tasty, too! But what made it a great experience for us was how accommodating our server was. She patiently indulged us with our broken Spanish, encouraged us, and was just pleasant the whole time. We even got some churros for free! Definitely coming back again. Hopefully, we could get some Canary Island style Papas next time :)

This is an AUTHENTIC Spanish bar, Marta the owner is really sweet and attentive, you really get the experience that you would get a local bar in Spain, the food was delicious and the quality is what any Spanish restaurant needs to offer to make you want to come back, the boquerones en vinagre are 10/10, the gambas al ajillo and the alioli were also perfect and the prices are very accurate to the service and food you are getting, I’ll definitely come back and recommend Santa Marta!
