We were excited to go there, only to find the restaurant is closed.... not sure why it's still open to book on Open Table.
Service was slow, but I’ll attribute it to it being Cinco de Mayo. They ran out of glasses for drinks too! Food was good, hoping to have a more expedient experience another day.
we were excited to go and show up to a sign that said closed. They should’ve canceled all
open table reservations.
We made a reservation on this site, we get to the restaurant and it was closed. Very disappointing.
The food and drinks were good enough. The music was way too loud and too aggressive/angsty for the type of food they sell.
The service was outstanding. The bartenders are knowledgeable and creative. Will definitely be back!
Amazing meal as always! The drinks were spectacular.
The food was great! I had a party of 8 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and the drinks were excellent! The opportunities were in the wait staff and in the cleanliness of the tables, restrooms, and glass wear. Those were big opportunities to where I suggested going elsewhere. Perhaps the restaurant was short staffed that night, as most places are right now. I see help wanted almost every where I look! I am working a part time job on top of my full time job because I feel bad for the senior living place that is even giving huge bonuses to hire people! So, yes, I will try them again in hopes it was an off night. The food and margaritas were really good.
We decided to try the Sangrita Saloon recently, for the first time, and it exceeded our expectations in all ways. The quality of the food was great, and what a fun and interesting menu! James, took great care of us, and answered questions, and made recommendations. We liked the casual ambiance, and all the care that was taken with everything. Be sure to try the award-winning beef short-rib taco! We really liked the quality of the tortilla chips and dips, and the fried corn meal dough appetizer with honey and spice. Even though this restaurant serves tequila as one of the most popular drinks, we were able to get our favorite drinks, tall gin and tonic, and red wine. (Malbec was great). We will definitely keep this restaurant in mind, again in the near future, when craving Mexican food with a modern spin. A+++
The server was dismissive and rude. She was annoyed with our questions and even our orders. It was enough that I won’t be returning.
Food was very delicious. Especially the app with guac, fundido, and salsa. We all got quesadillas which were delicious. Just very small. Margaritas were flavorful as well. Solid service by staff. Highly recommend.
It was our first time dining here. We enjoyed our experience and would definitely go back.
We’ve eaten here many times and always joke that we need to remember that we’re going to have bad service but the food will be worth it. This time the service was so bad (literally non-existent), that we had been seated at our table for 21 minutes and nobody had brought waters by, told us they were busy but would be right with us, or even acknowledged us at the table. So we left. I don’t know why I’m so surprised or disappointed... this is similar to our experience every time we eat there, and my friends say the same.
The jowl taco was great, so we’re the bunuelos. I really enjoyed the salsa verse as well. The papas taco was pretty good too, but carnitas was subpar. Dessert was good. Service was atrocious. Ambience good too, just not enough comfortable seating. Id go back just for the bunuelos and jowl taco. We were there almost 3 hrs, there was a period of time where no one stopped by our table for 45 minutes
Everything went well. The food and drinks were great as always. The servers were attentive and friendly.
Diamond gave us great service. Ask for her!
Place was closed!!! Nobody ever returned my phone calls.
Showed up and the restaurant was closed. I checked their website and social media pages and all showed that it should have been open.
Fantastic food and drink!
Our son took us to Sangrita a few weeks ago and we loved the food so much that we brought two of our friends. They loved the bison quesidillas and the margaritas.....did I mention the margaritas?
Our waitress was so helpful and funny and the bartender chipped in as well.
Fantastic all the way around!
They did not acknowledge our wedding anniversary whatsoever. It took over 20 minutes to get a drink. Our waitress seemed annoyed at our presence and slammed items down on the table. Fun times. Never returning.
Don't like to have to get menu on my phone. Can't read it and when the server says what is and is not available, makes it doubly hard to know what's available
Had a great meal on the patio! We will definitely return.
Worst experience ever. Reservations for 12:15. The pace was locked until we went around back to the kitchen door and asked what’s going on. They finally opened front door and were blasting loud rock music which I had to ask to turn down. We were only party there and it took an hour to get our food. And they never brought out all the good but billed us for all of it. The elote was awful! It had 10x the paprika used in a typical recipe. Never again! 0 out of 10.
Amazing service, outstanding meal with family and friends
Love the appetizer where you can choose 3 dips. We had salsa verde, fundido & guacamole- all were delicious. The chips are so good and the margaritas are the BEST! The patio is relaxing and service is great!
With both doors opening almost constantly it was very hard to feel comfortable. The food we got was cold and overcooked. This visit was not worth the money and we were highly disappointed after great visits in the past.
Wonderful food and service at a great price. Highly recommend!
I took my mother in law to Sangrita on a Friday evening around dinner time. It was lively, service was great, and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
I really enjoyed the cocktails and food but it was clear that they needed more servers that night. There were only 2 for the entire restaurant and it was the day after Valentine's day. We felt forgotten most of the time we were there.
As far as noise, we sat in the bar area and initially the music was extremely loud but it must have been turned down at some point as it was much better about half way through our meal.
I would like to try it again maybe on a weeknight and perhaps sit outside when warmer
Had a girls' date night and was looking forward to it. Sangrita is always packed and tough to get into. I did a reservation on Open Table. When we got there, the hostess didn't seem to know about our reservation and told us there wasn't anything inside, but outside was available. So we sat outside. There were heaters, but the metal chairs were freezing. I wore my jacket while out there, not a big deal.
Service was very slow. He did not mention anything until the very end of our very long dinner that a server had walked out. We were already pretty upset at this point, so it was hard to have empathy. Took 40 mins for us to get drinks, then more time to order food, then more time to get our checks. We were there for 6:30pm reservations and didn't leave until 9pm. We had to ask for plates, silverware, and got 1 water refill.
But the food....the food was awesome! I've always heard very good things about Sangrita, so hopefully this was a one-time flop that happened.
Best Valentine’s date ever and the staff at Sangrita made it so special. They were incredible—big shoutout to Ted at the bar! Highly recommend.
Fun atmosphere and great food!
Thankful Sangrita was on the Devour list because I'm not sure I would have found it otherwise and it's a definite spot to hit up!
Delicious food, great service and ambiance!
Service was horrid-we waited for an hour and a half for food with the explanation that we “weren’t alone”. Disastrous. Won’t be back.
Food was excellent! Audrey was very sweet and efficient. My issue lies with the business model. Multiple people waiting on the host stand for an extended time, lots of confusion on what food belonged to who as it was not plated in correct groups. Overall a great experience but needs some fine tuning
We loved the food that we received , the problem was the service. They were way under staffed in the bar the kitchen and the dining area and the wait staff
