Located in the Barnum Landing Shopping Center, Sangria 71 - Island Park brings much needed Flavors of Spain to the South Shore Long Island dining scene. From our savory Paellas to our sweet and refreshing Sangria, even the homemade signature Tres Leches Coconut cake, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

It was a lovely evening and the experience was topped by a great meal and beautiful music. I highly recommend paella on the porch. I was with one of my best friends. We both enjoyed everything we ate. This is a restaurant I plan on returning to many times.

Food is typically outstanding and this evening it was just ok. The timing for service was also off and we felt pressured to the turn the table and it was a business dinner, which I mentioned for the reservation, so would have appreciated more consideration. Still love the place but just not on their A game tonight.

Excellent lobsters. Service while somewhat slow was very polite. The salad appetizer, served with all entrees was too small for 2 people but very tasty and fresh. Overall we will definitely return for more lobsters.

We usually enjoy the food whenever having dinner there. For the first time, we ordered lobster tail with our paella… the lobster tail was overcooked, dry and tasteless and it was $22…. Never again, just stick with the regular one next time.

Nice place in a strip mall. The food was good. More of a fast casual sort of place. Ordered the grilled platter for 2 as our entree. The steak was good as was the chorizo. The Chicken Breast and Pork Loin chop were a bit overcooked but manageable. I wish they would ask about temp for chicken and pork, but I understand as they don't want anyone getting sick. Have grilled octopus which was delicious. Perfectly charred. The seafood tower was good. Part of the lobster was a bit raw, but didn't stop us from enjoying the meal. Keep in mind that the lobster tail was cooked perfectly. They comped the desert.

We were visiting family & we all came here for the first time. Food was delicious, wait staff very friendly & accommodating. Sangria was delicious! We had a crab appetizer & we all had the skirt steak. It was so tender & seasoned perfectly. We ordered medium rare & it was cooked just right. Wish we had room for dessert. Would definitely go back.

Six of us came to Sangria 71 for my birthday. My wife and I come here a lot for happy hour and dinner and this was our first time introducing our family to the restaurant. The food was GREAT as always. My wife and I got the churrasco for two and a TON of tapas appetizers including stuffed mushrooms, crabmeat tower, grilled octopus and meatballs. The 151 De Cayman Sangria was AWESOME!! The Spanish coffee at the end was the perfect end to a great evening. The manager on duty made it a point to check in on us every so often and our experience there could not have been better. We’ll be back and I’m pretty sure our family members will too.!

I booked through open table and 3 hostesses at the front spent 5 minutes whispering to each other after they noted (immediately) that they had my reservation. There were no other customers at the desk. Eventually I asked if there was a problem. They claimed there was none. Finally, we were escorted upstairs, which has much less ambiance than downstairs. When I asked about a table downstairs which I saw was empty on my way up, I was told they had other reservations. I had a reservation too. The next party of four was seated downstairs. Hmmm. I did not appreciate or understand the treatment. Thanks for the annoyance at my Saturday night Mother’s Day dinner with reservations I made 2 weeks ago. I may not go back.

I understand why that would make you feel uncomfortable. As for seating, we try our best to accommodate guest requests while also maintaining a rotation between dining rooms so that all of our staff can tend to our guests professionally and timely.
