Located in the Barnum Landing Shopping Center, Sangria 71 - Island Park brings much needed Flavors of Spain to the South Shore Long Island dining scene. From our savory Paellas to our sweet and refreshing Sangria, even the homemade signature Tres Leches Coconut cake, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

OpenTable will prompt you for your indoor or outdoor preference unless outdoor is already reserved to max capacity (or unavailable), in which case your reservation will be defaulted to indoor dining. We thank you in advance for respecting your reserved time.

Let us cater your next event with one of our Paella Parties! We cook in imported Paella Pans ranging from 3ft to 5ft in diameter creating a witness worthy culinary experience. Our menu items can also be ordered for cater in half or full trays. We'll staff, decorate, prepare, cook, serve and cleanup.

We were a large group celebrating a HS Graduation. The group included young kids and Grandparents, but our server, Andrea A. handled the group with ease and made everyone feel good. She made great suggestions about the food and kept the evening moving smoothly throughout. Andrea A was phenomenal. The restaurant was very accommodating and everyone enjoyed their food. Particularly the Tapas, the seafood and the Sangria.

Service was very good. With Sangria being the actual name, I had high expectations of the Sangria. Terribly, they choose to not make Sangria. When I ordered off the menu, they just poured wine into a glass with another liquor, and then added fruit separately. No time for the fruit & wine to infuse. The food was just OK. They saved the worst for the end. While I was in the Men’s room, a member of the kitchen staff used the urinal, then left the restroom without washing their hands. That’s a deal breaker. Will never go back.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant. Please know that our sangria is mixed with various liquors and left to marinate for days before serving. It is then prepared with fresh fruit every time. If the fruit is left directly in the wine and liquor it eventually ferments and spoils. Regarding the staff member found in the bathroom. Our staff is only human and occasionally also need to make a quick run and use the bathroom as well. They are required by us and the health department to wash and sanitize their hands in our kitchen hand wash stations which are fully stocked with proper sanitizer, disinfectant soap and new latex gloves. This minimizes time out of the kitchen and frees up the facility for our customers.

Overall, the food was very good. The oysters were fresh, and the French fries were exactly I’d give the meal a 7.5 out of 10, mainly because the lobster was a bit tough to eat, though still flavorful. The lobster shell stuffing was excellent, but the lobster meat itself tasted a bit off, which was disappointing as I eat lobster regularly from different places. That’s really my only complaint. Would I go back? Yes. Would I go back soon or often? Probably not.

Great experience for Mother’s Day. Had paella Valenciana it was well worth it along with great service. Quick with everything and made experience comfortable.

The first floor dining room was taken over by a special event. We had requested to sit downstairs, so we were notified about this the day before our reservation in case we wanted to change it. We were fine with the fact we would have to go this one time. However when we got there we met Brian, a waiter we knew for a long time, and asked if we could sit at one of the "high top" tables in the bar instead of going upstairs. He said no problem, seated us, and even waited on us. We sat by the window and had a delicious dinner with great service. It was another wonderful experience at Sangria 71!

First time at this place and I can only say, it was more than expected. I really liked this place from when I first walked it to the ending of our tres leche de Coco dessert. We ordered a paella for 3 and it was more than plenty, flavors were on point, not fishy at all...ours had chicken and seafood...sooo good. Tapas were awesome...steak tips al vino, meatballs could be a bit softer and a bit more flavorful, chorizo al vino and pulpo a la planta delicious. Red sangria pitcher is the way to go...more fruits would be great...it was delicious. Our waitress and seating hostes were great. Price were reasonable for the food and service we received. Will Def be back.

This place is underrated. The food is good, the service is good, and they’re very professional. The prices are extremely reasonable too. It’s my go to place for believe it or not surf and turf. The steak and lobster tail is always delicious!
