My wife and I chose to order off of the Tapas menu and we were not disappointed! We had the honey fried manchego cheese to start, followed by the charcuterie board and the crab and avocado tower. All were perfectly prepared and delicious! We should have stopped there, but since everything sounded so good, we went on to order the bacon wrapped scallops and for dessert, my wife had the Churros and I had the Creme Brûlée. All three were excellent, but we left feeling very full. Our server, Theresa was very friendly and attentive. If you go here and order Tapas, I would definitely recommend that you order one or two dishes and then order more as you go.
This restaurant is excellent but they have a serious parking problem. My friends could not park in the lot and had to park a distance away where their cars would not be towed.
Good food, quick service. Decent value for what you get
The restaurant was nice but the paella was a little salty
Amazing food and service. I can’t wait to come back!
We had been to Sangria 71 for a few months due to the pandemic. The food was very good. We had two tapas plates, filet migon and scallops wrapped in bacon. I had arroz con pollo and my wife had chilean sea bass. We enjoyed everything includint the comlimentary house salad. We had red sangria which was very good.
As always, the meals were all great. The waiter was wonderful. The staff were all nice and friendly. All in all is was a great birthday night with friends
We ordered paella the taste was delicious but the rice came out undercooked.
My wife and I have gone to Sangria 71 in Commack for years. Everything about this place is OUTSTANDING!!! We love Sangria 71 in Commack!!!
Always on point with food and service. Started with pulpo ala planchette, for entree had the paella, no doubt the best around. Highly recommend.
We normally go for dinner, but guest were in town and decided to try the brunch with the bottomless drinks. Everything was great and my guest had a great time. Patrick
Food was excellent. Prices very reasonable and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. Will be going back!
Great place. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening. The food was wonderful and the staff were true professionals
Great drinks, awesome food. We've never had a bad meal here. Outstanding!!! And the staff is all very friendly.
We enjoyed all of our dishes and the service. Only thing wrong was the noise. It was quite loud. Loved everything else. Thank you
Our server was awesome! Food was delicious!
Everything was great.
Paella just a little salty
This wasn’t our first time dining here, nor was it our friends. We both love this restaurant and prefer it to another location. Our table was waiting when we arrived. Our waiter was friendly, prompt and quite receptive to our requests. Rye good and drunk was not only delicious to for the palate but pleasing to the eye as well. The folder that the bill came in had a sticker on it stating a 5% discount for cash payment. A wonderful evening with friends and delicious food. Will return, looking for to it.
Great service great food had the mussels and the pulpo a la gallega for appetizers and oso buco as a main course my wife had the lamb chops all cooked to perfection with a glass of pinot noir to accompany the meal delicious will be here again for sure
Tapas were amazing Small plates but extremely fresh Try the pulpo! Skirt steak was cooked perfectly! Service was outstanding
My first visit and I was blown away. Great food, wonderful attentive staff and the atmnosphere even in the packed restaurant was wonderful. Varied and superb menu items, great selection of wine , cocktails and of course Sangria of every kind. I will be a return customer!
Everything was excellent except the timing. We hate to be rushed!! They brought our appetizer out while we were still eating our salads. That’s a big Nono
Consistently great food and service. The staff are attentive, professional and friendly.
Good Sunday brunch with option for bottomless drinks. The Steak and eggs are good choice.
We have enjoyed this restaurant before. It is pretty mid point between us and our friends who have never been here. Without going into too much detail, everything was excellent and our friends said they have a new place to eat at.
It’s always a nice to go to.
Tapas were brought to the table, a party of six, on a tower that made sharing rather difficult and interfering with our conversation. The first bread basket contained stale pieces. Salad plates were removed before several diners had finished. Entrees were excellent.
We tried Sangria 71 having heard much about the restaurant. Normally we have Spanish cuisine at El Parral in Syosset. The meal was delicious(Clams in green sauce and Paella valenciana). Will definitely return to try other dishes.
Marked me as a no call no show after making a reservation with OpenTable. Even after I called they did not correct when they said they would. Don't waste your time with Open Table. They owe me 100 points!
Awesome date with friends. Our waitress Teresa was super fun, attentive, and nice. Food was plentiful, cooked to perfections, and delicious. Just a great dining experience.
Octopus was perfectly done. Paella flavorful and delicious.
Wonderful. Love the ambiance with the perfect level.
Good was tasty but unfortunately a bit too greasy for me grilled shrimp was more like fried shrimp
Great food, if you stay outside under the inclosed tents dress warm even though they have heaters its still a bit cold.
Only complaint was, this is the second time in a row we came here and had to ask someone three times for a drink. Not the servers fault, just understaffed i think.
The place is very nice service very good but my scallops were very salty I couldn’t eat it. My husband’s meal also very salty. I think someone accidentally poured a box of salt over our food.
Great food, great presentation, great atmosphere, good prices, will continue to return
We went for dinner last night. Our server Theresa was so friendly and helpful with our questions about the menu. We had a wonderful experience
Skirt steak was a little under seasoned and cold. The tapas were excellent; especially the shrimp in cognac sauce and the lamb chops.
Food was great, service was excellent but what really stood out to us was the hostess cleaning the menus with anti bacterial wipes while we waited to be seated. There are so many restaurants who even reuse paper menus with food on them so to find this extra action was really wonderful to see. And the hostesses were very engaging as well during our visit on 10/30/21.
