Sangria 46 Ratings and Reviews
As the name suggests, there's a pretty wide selection of sangria flavors, both regular and sparkling. I got the strawberry & peach, and it was delicious. The prix-fixe menu is a great value and all of my food was perfect. This was my first time here because I had a gift card, and it has become a new favorite.
Our meals were delicious! The house dressing for the salad, included in the meal price, is made in-house and very tasty. I would duplicate my meal again, as would the rest of my party....all the dishes were that good. I had salmon prepared just the way I like it, and I didn't even say anything. My daughter had lobster ravioli, each ravioli had actual lobster, and my husband did not order from the lunch specials, had seafood paella. We ate lunch when they opened for the day and the service was super attentive. This is two thumbs-up recommendation.
My sister was in from out of town. She's a hardworking teacher so I really wanted her to have a great weekend. We were craving tapas all week long and Sangria 46 didn't disappoint. The stuffed mushrooms were incredible, the mango sangria delicious and the flan was the perfect ending to our meal. Thanks Sangria 46!
We've been at this restaurant at least 3 times in the past and it always meets our expectations with good food and service. This time, we were celebrating our Anniversary before attending a show. They gave us a complimentary desert (flan) which was great. The only negative is the Paella was a little bit too salty. Other than that a very good dining experience.
I went with a friend of mine, we were visiting from Canada. We really wanted sangrias, and at first we were slightly underwhelmed with the scenery, but still decided to give it a try. We sat outside on the patio, and everything turned out to be amazing. The food was INCREDIBLE!! The sangrias were delicious, and our server was hilarious. Would definitely recomment this to anyone :)
Great variety of tapas dishes, and the best sangria recipes (both red and white) that I have found in mid-town. Secret outdoor patio in the back is a real prize! No need to sit on the sidewalk and breathe exhaust fumes while thousands of people stampede past you. Worth it to skip the set price menu, and select from the extensive a la carte listing.
Fabulous and delicious as always. We have dined here for several years and the food is consistently wonderful. The staff is warm and fun and the food is really great. We love the grilled octopus, beet salad with goat cheese croutons, mussels, meatballs and lamb chops. Also the best paella period!!!
Arrived here for our 8pm reservation and asked to be seated outside on the back patio. Got a very nice table and the waitress came over quickly. We order a medium pitcher of sangria, which was delicious and gave us each about 2 glasses, so not bad. Decided to stick with tapas and had the jalapenos rellanos and the empanadas argentina to start. They were so good that we decided to order the chorizo sausages with onions, provolone aromatic (toasted cheese) and the dates wrapped in bacon (which I considered dessert). Everything was delicious and hot and we were stuffed when we left. Sitting outside on a beautiful summer night, excellent service, great tapas, and refreshing sangria.......perfect
On our way to a Broadway show - we needed something a bit different and enjoyable without being too pricey- My dining companion is gluten free and I needed a refreshing alcoholic beverage. Sangria 46 fit the bill perfectly. In the back was a beautifully decorated patio with grapevines (still non-smoking). We dined on several vegetables tapas while we put in our order for a timely house specialty, paella. It arrived fresh and hot, sooner than promised and the 2 of us could not finish it all. The servers wee very attentive and I would highly recommend this restaurant for any one looking for a special meal and evening.
My wife and I enjoyed an early dinner after a theater matinee. I had the paella and my wife had the fillet of lemon sole. Both were very good. The portions were good … plentiful, but not too large. We shared a pitcher of strawberry/ peach sangria, which I highly recommend. This was a good meal at a reasonable price. I look forward to my next visit.
the red sangria was very poor. As an expert on sangrias as I am, this one was done at the last minute rather than the day before, and prepared with the most "cheapo" wine, lots of ice and a few tiny pieces of fruit that were difficult to find.
DO NOT ask for sangria !!!!
The paella was slightly overcooked but had a good taste. The tapas were all good. The flan as dessert was just average.
The food was horrible. Almost everything had smoky paprika on it and so much of it that it was inedible. It is difficult to mess up potatoes bravas but these were impossible to eat with the amount of smoky paprika. The paella was bland with no taste. The service was good even though the restaurant was very busy.
