Food was delicious but considering the indoor dining room was nearly empty the service was very slow. It took too long to get our food and our check. But overall a good experience.
We ate outside. It was a nice sunny night. Service was great. Food was great. Parking onsite...which was nice but we didn't realize we could park there because it said no parking....which was due to patrons across the street parking there a lot.
Wow. What a disappointment. We made a reservation on OpenTable and arrived on time. The hostess asked us if “someone” had called us, which they had not, and then apologized but didn’t explain for what. We realized later that the apology was for what was to come. We were instructor find an open table if we could. Most tables were taken or had not been cleaned off. We finally found an acceptable table. Then we had to download a terribly clunky app to order our food. The menu was very limited and extremely overpriced for this experience. But we were settled and didn’t want to give up on this place since we have usually enjoyed it and want to support local restaurants. We ordered a couple of burgers. Our drinks arrived in cans with no glasses or ice and were not cold. Many other patrons sat down and left after struggling with the app. About 40 minutes later, our food arrived in paper takeout boxes and in a paper bag as if we were leaving. We also were brought cloth napkins and real silverware as if we were not leaving. We stayed and ate. The burgers were prepared and served just OK but our bill was over $60. Overall terrible experience. Not going back.
I bit of a disappointment. The restaurant that was here prior to this one was first class. The menu has little selection. Everything was in plastic. Nothing spectacular.
We have eaten at the Holland location so we thought this place would be just as good. It’s not. We went on a Saturday night around 6. Very few patrons. We sat out in the patio. The place seemed neglected for it being new. The owner doesn’t pay a lot of attention to detail.
Server was nice.
Food was reasonably priced.
Husbands hamburger was good.
The red chairs and table umbrellas were nice.
The patio area has potential!
My fish tacos were almost burned:/
The Mexican Cake dessert was very dry. It seemed as though it was made the week before. Not good.
We asked about Restaurant Week and never got an answer.
The fence area was 1/2 fake plants and 1/2 real but it looked like someone just slapped the fake plants up to try and hide the construction going on next door.
The tables were rusty and wobbly.
The couches along the back wall had cushions that were in pretty bad shape.
There was a tall open garbage can setting next to the door outside with a hand written, worn sign that read garbage.
It appeared as if they weren’t ready for any customers; tables with rags laying on them, maintenance workers scurrying around trying to install a speaker by our table, deliveries going into the restaurant from the patio area.
They were setting up the bar outside, it seemed for the first time. The yard games were near the bar but weren’t ready for patrons to use like it is at the Holland location. Wouldn’t the place want everything in order before you open the doors for business?
It was definitely an interesting experience. We will not be going back.
Excellent food and great happy hour. Will go back
Still in startup mode but they followed up on our thoughts and concerns. Won’t be long before they are at the same level as West Olive. We will be back.
Delicious wedge salad and perfectly prepared filet!
