We have eaten here previously and enjoyed our meal. They have a new chef & menu and it wasn’t good (we went another night with the new chef and thought the same thing). The waiter was nice but it took him 15 minutes to greet us. We also ordered a round of drinks that we never got. They also have run out of menu items the last 2 times. Not planning to go back any time soon.
The ambiance was great ,great music , we loved the food and especially the service !
We really enjoyed our visit and returned two days later !
It was Sunday and they had a live Band!!
Great food, amazing staff and killer view of the intercostal!!
Would recommend this too all my friends!
Keep up your work and quality!
We had a great waiter that was very attentive to our table. Our breakfast was delicious. The split Prosecco was a little pricey but overall the beautiful intercostal water views made this a great brunch experience. I will definitely will go again,
Menu completely reduced. Service slow. Prices through the roof. You can’t be serious!!! $7.00 for a ear of corn. Fries undercooked. Total false advertising! Says there’s going to be a live band. Was a DJ👿. If it wasn’t for being on the intercoastal I’d say totally forget it. Best part strawberries frozen drinks
The location and food were great. And the DJ played a fun eclectic mix. But, the music was also too loud — hard to have a conversation over dinner. I suspect that works for the crowd but best be aware if you plan to enjoy dinner with folks without great hearing — perhaps be sure to ask for a quieter table.
We sat right by the water and it was fun to watch all the boats and yachts going by. Food was good, our server Kristin was fabulous! Good night!
When we arrived we asked if the restaurant was valet-only parking they said yes. Found out later that wasn’t the case, there’s parking right across the street. Otherwise the food was good, service was good, not the best for younger kids though.
Food was terrible. It was a bday dinner. How can a restaurant service with horrible seafood.
Beautiful intercostal views, fresh fish sandwiches and tasty salads. Our server was friendly and efficient. Only complaint was the $5 valet fee when I parked my own car in the lot.
The scheduled band did not play, seems that weather was an issue
Can't beat the view! Food was good. A small portion of fish for the price but it was good! Service was good as well!
This is five star review, but there some mistakes with our orders. What is important is how your associates handled the recovery seamlessly. Long story short, our order was given to another table. But the server and the chef both came out to apologize, which was unexpected and very nice of them.
Then my order was taking longer to prepare, they brought out a different entree for me so I would be able to dine with my girlfriend until mine was ready. Once again, a nice touch.
The server offered to comp the entire meal, but I declined because I felt that was more than the issue warranted.
In the end, I got my correct entree and shared it with my girlfriend.
In the end, I left full and happy. I was given a friends and family discount which I thought was fair.
Your associates should be commended on how they handled a mistake under pressure. This situation could be used as a good example of customer service for training purposes.
Thank you all for an enjoyable evening.
Yeah, the service is slow (and you will wait a bit), staff not well trained but the food is great, ambience perfect (informal, intercostal) and everyone friendly.
Great food, Great Service! We really enjoyed the night out
Food was awful. Slaw had no seasoning or dressing. Then putting it in the tasteless fish tacos adding nothing. French fries cold and soggy. Just a really bad food experience.
Good food and great atmosphere. Nice view of the inter coastal and very fresh fish
Awesome experience this Valentines Day despite being busy.
Dj was playing 70’s, 80’s music too boring . Food was ok but not ideal for a Saturday night .
nice view bad service 2 hours to get served tasteless food..do not go
Our meals came out 10 to 15 minutes apart. 2 of the same appetizers can out after most of us have eaten our meal. We ordered 2 of the same dessert, only one came out and then offered to bring it out when we requested the check. I don’t believe it was the servers fault, more likely the kitchen staff. The only thing that came out quickly was the bar drinks.
Beautiful evening on the intracoastal. I had the grouper sandwich and it is very good. I think a firmer bun would be a better choice though. Glad to see the new improvements going on at the Sands. Always an active place to grab a bite.
Only positive is the setting. Poor service, poor food quality over the top prices for drinks. Served appetizers in Styrofoam boxes. Got blindsided on this reataurant.
Overall a very good restaurant. Service was friendly and courteous.
Great Grouper Sandwich, service was impeccable, we will return.
Amazing ambiance and excellent food and service.
This is a decent, ordinary lackluster place. Our waitress was either poorly trained or careless. We were not given utensils until we asked. Our orders came out missing or incorrect. She chatted but did not serve. Not on my list to return.
We went to see a band perform outside. Table was great. Sat right by the water. The band was great, volume was not overpowering. Great evening!
We love the atmosphere at the Sands. Our server Tony is the best. We will always request him. Food is good and drinks are better... Always a nice time..
Great views and friendly and welcoming service from valet to hostess to server. Excellent mahi sandwich!
Safe outdoor dining!
Staff all wore masks but many patrons were walking around without masks
It was amazing but I think the band could have been better
Respectful to follow Covid protocols, great service, ambiance and wonderful food and cocktails!!
We dined here on NYE it was a amazing! The staff was excellent and the overall vibe was brilliant. The was a pre fixe menu that night which would have been great if it included a grilled fish or chicken entree but was still amazing evening,
Food was fine, drinks were great, view was great, waiter was “nice” but we got the feeling he was just acting nice to our faces. Went there for my birthday and when we asked him if they did anything for birthdays all he said was “no, sorry” and didn’t say anything else about it the rest of the night.
This place is a Diamond in the rough. Love the staff , Paris was more than professional in helping us make the reservation and picked the seating for us. The view while u eat is perfect ( on the water) the music was very good and we danced all nite by the water away from others. The seating was done right as far as the spacing. We felt well taken care of here. Love it and thank u again Mitzi and Fred
Went here for New Years Eve
Everything was great couldn’t have been better!
Really awful service. The food is extremely overpriced. Had to ask for silverware then never got it. So had to walk up to server stand. They said yeah we are out. And they handed me a box of plastic silverware. Not really what you expect when paying $25 per entree. Food was late and or wrong. It was a disaster. They do not have enough servers. We have been over 20 times and love this place usually but we may not go back. Something is up there right now.
Had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at sunset. Food was great, drinks were tasty, and it was affordable.
