Our group had a lovely time, great food & entertainment and we plan to return!
Thanks to our server and to management for their many kindnesses.
Another point worth mentioning, we used the “pay by phone” app to park, if you prefer, valet parking is available.
they had a limited menu with only 2 main dishes. we were not greeted when we arrived and were charged for parking even though the web site said complementary. the drinks were good but given the value for the money it is not a restaurant that I will go back to
Food was very good
Please don’t order Calamari, overcooked. Couldn’t even chew or bite on it. Make sure you don’t have “Nick” as your server (he is gay guy with bad attitude) Bad service. Had to ask stuff twice… manager was nice to remove calamari from my bill. Our server fussed about the tip he got from which was not too high but decent like 8.5% … you tip according to the service you get. He had the audacity to come in my face and confront me about the tip he received. You get what you give!!! That’s my rule!
The views were amazing and the prices were great.. Keep in mind the food is like bar food. We got wings and guacamole and it was decent but the views were phenomenal and the service was excellent!!
It was a great experience eating by the water.
My left nut could cook a better steak for $9, over priced and awful service.
Great food, waterfront sitting & live music.
Too loud. Food was sub par.
Great drinks and awesome views
We went to celebrate the long weekend. When we arrived we were told that the open table booking was down and that they didn’t have a table. The greeter was kind enough to get a manager and they found us a table for the inconvenience. The live music was awesome and the ambience was wonderful. The food was okay, and the beer was not very fresh, but despite this it was still a very nice time and a beautiful view.
This place is not worth going to. Waited in the rain at the check in podium for 15 minutes. Not one person stopped to acknowledge us and basically ignored us. What a waste of time!
I had the Mahi-mahi tacos and they were delicious! The house margarita also didn’t disappoint! The cuisine wings are great as well.
Great restaurant and beautiful view :)
one of my favorite places. great view, good food and prices are reasonable. they've upped their game to linen napkins and valet parking!
I have a 5 reservation. We got there before 5 but we're told we would have at least a 45 minute wait. After about 25 minutes I went back and ask to see the manager. We have an 85 year old woman with us and she was getting very hungry. Manager promptly seated us. It was very busy and it took quite a while for the waitress to come over. I think they could use some more waitstaff. The band was excellent and it was a very enjoyable evening being on the Intracoastal.
No one person at the bar had a mask on, seemed like a COVID superspreader place.
Waited over 15 minutes for a server to come to our table and that was after I went to the hostess to complain. Very expensive average food.
Do not waste your time going there. Your health depends on it.
Great spot for boat watching, music & food!
Solid casual food. If you want the good stuff, Rusty Hook is in the same building.
Nice sunset on the dock
This is the closest you can be to the water, without being in a boat! Incredible location with sunset views! Great and friendly service!
Our waiter was quite good and worked hard to assure a good experience. Food was very good. We were outside along the dock and it was windy and cool. But the waiter brought a heater for us. Overall we will return.
Horrible food. Store bought fish dip with stale pita and chips, undercooked Waffles, fish tacos that were wasted cuz they tasted so bad, very mediocre eggs Benedict...all in all if you are going for food and service, a hard pass. Good for drinks and water views...hence the 2 stars. Oh and hair in my fish dip didn’t help either..zoom in to see
Great ambiance directly on the intracostal. Friendly, attentive staff. Fresh seafood. Will go back soon.
We have eaten here previously and enjoyed our meal. They have a new chef & menu and it wasn’t good (we went another night with the new chef and thought the same thing). The waiter was nice but it took him 15 minutes to greet us. We also ordered a round of drinks that we never got. They also have run out of menu items the last 2 times. Not planning to go back any time soon.
The ambiance was great ,great music , we loved the food and especially the service !
We really enjoyed our visit and returned two days later !
It was Sunday and they had a live Band!!
Great food, amazing staff and killer view of the intercostal!!
Would recommend this too all my friends!
Keep up your work and quality!
We had a great waiter that was very attentive to our table. Our breakfast was delicious. The split Prosecco was a little pricey but overall the beautiful intercostal water views made this a great brunch experience. I will definitely will go again,
Menu completely reduced. Service slow. Prices through the roof. You can’t be serious!!! $7.00 for a ear of corn. Fries undercooked. Total false advertising! Says there’s going to be a live band. Was a DJ👿. If it wasn’t for being on the intercoastal I’d say totally forget it. Best part strawberries frozen drinks
The location and food were great. And the DJ played a fun eclectic mix. But, the music was also too loud — hard to have a conversation over dinner. I suspect that works for the crowd but best be aware if you plan to enjoy dinner with folks without great hearing — perhaps be sure to ask for a quieter table.
We sat right by the water and it was fun to watch all the boats and yachts going by. Food was good, our server Kristin was fabulous! Good night!
When we arrived we asked if the restaurant was valet-only parking they said yes. Found out later that wasn’t the case, there’s parking right across the street. Otherwise the food was good, service was good, not the best for younger kids though.
Food was terrible. It was a bday dinner. How can a restaurant service with horrible seafood.
Beautiful intercostal views, fresh fish sandwiches and tasty salads. Our server was friendly and efficient. Only complaint was the $5 valet fee when I parked my own car in the lot.
The scheduled band did not play, seems that weather was an issue
This is five star review, but there some mistakes with our orders. What is important is how your associates handled the recovery seamlessly. Long story short, our order was given to another table. But the server and the chef both came out to apologize, which was unexpected and very nice of them.
Then my order was taking longer to prepare, they brought out a different entree for me so I would be able to dine with my girlfriend until mine was ready. Once again, a nice touch.
The server offered to comp the entire meal, but I declined because I felt that was more than the issue warranted.
In the end, I got my correct entree and shared it with my girlfriend.
In the end, I left full and happy. I was given a friends and family discount which I thought was fair.
Your associates should be commended on how they handled a mistake under pressure. This situation could be used as a good example of customer service for training purposes.
Thank you all for an enjoyable evening.
Can't beat the view! Food was good. A small portion of fish for the price but it was good! Service was good as well!
Have visited the Sands several times since early December and always sit on the dock and have had some very nice servers and the fish sandwich is always tasty. Today we planned a lunch out and were told by the hostess that we could not be seated by the water where there were few people but that they were trying to put everyone in one section together.... pretty sure we are in a global pandemic! Coronavirus!!! I said we prefer the sit away from the crowd.... she checked with the manager and he promptly came walking by and practically yelled at us... this section is closed. Maybe should not work in the hospitality industry.
Its too bad because we really enjoyed this location and all our servers were great. We won’t return.
Yeah, the service is slow (and you will wait a bit), staff not well trained but the food is great, ambience perfect (informal, intercostal) and everyone friendly.
Great food, Great Service! We really enjoyed the night out
Food was awful. Slaw had no seasoning or dressing. Then putting it in the tasteless fish tacos adding nothing. French fries cold and soggy. Just a really bad food experience.
