Would be great in summer...was a little cold in the restaurant this time of year - I am sure all the hype about this restaurant is likely fulfilled in the summer months. The Seafood tower was good food but not a lot of seafood for the price..did the math a few times and couldn't figure how it was worth it...might have been better to order the items individually. Oysters were good, ceviche good but small portion...should have gone for the classics (lobster roll, fish and chips) and I might have left happier. Servers were great , welcoming and accommodating.

My third time at this fun restaurant. Excellent food and fun and casual atmosphere. Service is good even in this busy spot. I would like a few more reasonable wine options in the red selections
Highly recommended

We loved it here. Fish and chips,
Lobster rolls, cocktails, feral children running around in the grass and climbing trees / making new friends, creating their own plays on the large wooden stage. Honestly. THIS was beyond what we expected for dinner out in the county and yes, we spent some $, but it was the HIGHLIGHT of the trip!!!! Expert staff, beautiful decor, attitude super friendly, fellow diners so nice and inviting. We will never forget this night, and we were in the 6pm crowd! If you have kids, they will love it! Inside it is more adulty and gorgeous but outside we actually got to relax and enjoy a couple of hours watching our girl run free. And also FYI the best lobster rolls I have ever had. Some reviews here are a bit petty IMO but if you are in a good mood, this place takes it to another level entirely. Perfect night! Well done S&P!!!

Sand and Pearl is a a must do resto in the county. You feel like your at a cool summer resort when you’re there. The food is great and there is plenty of room for the kids to run and play. Great cocktails and wine list plus awesome burgers and lobster rolls! Oh and DO NOT pass up the Caldosa, it’s the best!!

Beautiful quaint seafood place! Bit of southern influence to its decor! Outdoor pateo is screened so you don’t have to deal with bugs which is great. Service was attentive. Amazing food even if on the pricier side, definitely not the $30pp mentioned. Overall great quality for its price point.

Absolutely oved the food! Cute beachy atmosphere. Service good, but sometimes the kitchen was slow. Unfortunately both times I ate there this summer there were some really loud people...some parents were not really paying attention to their kids and some adults were overly loud with their dates or spouses. Happy this is a family place, but with the high prices it would have been nice to feel more relaxed. That is not the fault of the restaurant though. I really wish this place was open all week since I was in the area from Monday to Friday...and this resto was closed Monday to Wednesday and I was craving their seafood!

Our reconfirmed reservation was not honoured by the restaurant. We were told we could either wait an unspecified length of time or “go someplace else” by the clearly over stressed owner. When asked if they felt that was acceptable and had they given our table to a walk in she shrugged and responded “probably” and became immediately confrontational and passive aggressive...once again saying “go someplace else”. We still can scarcely believe the rudeness and aggressive attitude we experienced so we did indeed go someplace else. To top it off the restaurant chose to mark us as no shows on this site, which we had rectified. The place is popular and we can all have bad days but the mark of a professional establishment is to rise above it. Had any semblance of an apology or explanation been offered we would likely have waited, but nothing of the sort was forthcoming- quite the opposite. I cannot comment on the food or other aspects which is a shame, other reviewers seem to like it which is great, but I prefer to spend my money in places without attitude.

Go there! Fabulous selection of oysters, a lobster roll, and mussels in a magical sauce, made for a perfect lunch! A bottle of Pixie rose, and Eton mess for dessert....
Excellent service, and a damn cool vibe!

We really enjoyed our time and what we ordered— the Gumbo (special of the day) and lobster rolls.
The service was very knowledgeable and attentive. They noted that it was our anniversary and provided delicious chocolate mousse.
We wished, though, that there was grilled fish on the menu.
Finally, we rated the noise level as ‘low’ mainly because it was Sunday evening and it wasn’t busy. Had it been a Friday or Saturday night, the restaurant has the potential of being quite noisy — but we would still have loved it because it is a beachy, crab-shacky kind of place — perfect for what they serve!
PS — loved the original artwork and the background music — this place has a great vibe!

Our experience from start to finish was wonderful. Excellent service and excellent food. The food was prepared and presented well, with creative touches and careful thought given to the end result. We have been there last year and notice each year they add new flavours and food ideas. Staff are very nice, friendly as well. We will be back for more.

This is an unexpected gem in the heart of Prince Edward County. It has a casual, fun, Bahamian feel (reminds us of a little place we go to in Hopetown, Elbow Cay, Bahamas. The food is fresh and fantastic and the staff and owner take great pride in the quality and atmosphere they provide. Friendly, energetic, attentive service makes the experience second to none for a fun night out. This is the place to get oysters. They were fresh and delicious, and the pickerel melted in your mouth. Would highly recommend paying a visit.

Happy to have Sand and Pearl open for another season. We love the addition of a seafood tower to the menu; great way to sample many of the restaurant’s specialty items. Excited to see the owners bringing food ideas from their winter travels to the restaurant. The caldosa was amazing.
