Excellent meal. Great service. A bit NYC pricey, but still great food.
Excellent service. Food never disappoints.
With so many Italian restaurants in NYC, it’s so hard to choose just one, especially when you’re from out of state like myself. San Pietro sold me with their family story on their website. The meal and experience exceeded well beyond my expectations!! The bread and petite breadsticks were delicious and the service was excellent. I ordered the branzino, the signature dish. I’m a seafood fanatic, and this was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Everything tasted so fresh and the olive oil was phenomenal. I’ve decided that whenever I return to NYC, I’m dining here once every trip. I will also recommend it to anyone looking for a place to eat in NYC. It was THAT good. It is a bit on the pricey side, (not bad for a high-and restaurant, though) but it was worth every penny.
Wonderful meal and the cannolis were incredible. Food, atmosphere and senor Bruno all amazing! Thank you and we will be back!
Best waiter in NY; delicioso! Been enjoying business lunches there for 25 years. One of my favorites
My husband and I visited for dinner on Saturday Evening. The experience would have been great, had there not been either the manager or owner listening to Cable News on his iPad full volume at the bar, audible to the entire dining room. This went on through the duration of our entire meal, on and off. There were only two other people at tables near us and we all exchanged glances on how extremely rude and distracting this was.
This behavior, disrespectful to anyone near you, is rude on the subway. Why should it be acceptable for the manager/owner of a restaurant that charged us $350 for a dinner for two. We were really shocked.
Excellent food, delicious. Courteous staff and great treatment
Restaurant was very accommodating, the meal was spectacular and we had just the best of times. A great spot to visit.
Too noisy , and it was not even crowded, overall ,very good experience
The food was fantastic, as well as the interior decorations of the restaurant.
Outstanding in every way!!
Great restaurant; awesome food with great service. A bit too loud.
Extraordinario. Manolo el mejor mesero de Manhattan.
Servers seemed inattentive when we arrived, but steadily improved as dinner went on.
Best Italian meal we have in NYC every time we go!
A delicious dinner! We were treated like family….Thank you for making our first night in NYC so special!!
The brazino baked in sea salt is excellent. So are the Octopus and baby calamari.
Wine is reasonable in price.
Absolutely delicious food. The appetizers, main courses & deserts were wonderful except the pasta was overcooked, not Al Dente. An excellent wine list also.
The place is empty and while they are trying to survive it seems that the formula is to increase prices to a level that makes it ridiculous.
We got three small appetizers sparkling water and coffee -- Paid $200!
Stay away from them
The best Italian restaurant in midtown, excellent for lunch or dinner
As usual they did and amazing job and the service is other worldly. Highly recommend it!
Too expensive for the quality of the food... The service was ok... The rest awefull
It is ALWAYS wonderful.
Fantastic as always
San Pietro is a classic old school NYC Italian restaurant complete with an owner and staff that take you back in time with both their service and the authentic quality of the food - especially the home made pasta dishes. I thoroughly enjoyed the Bucatini Amatriciana - just like my grandmother from Calabria used to make :)
The food was so so the restaurant was empty the food was fair the service was very good , but boring
Classic northern Italian cooking in a nice setting. Perfect for a business meal or for a special occasion. Service is very good with about a dozen off the menu items. A special was the St. Joseph pastry in honor of the holiday. Been here several times before and would certainly return.
Great selections of food and drink, great staff, great ambience, great presentation. For me the BEST Italian restaurant in the region.
