Welcome to the Awards Winning San Pietro Restaurant.

We believe in wisdom of "Nourishing Body and Soul" derived from our Salerno ancestors from Southern Italy. We import 85% of our ingredients from Italy.

We look forward to serving you and offering you the most authentic Italian dishes.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you wish to cancel your reservation please let us know a minimum of 24 hours in advance. Failure to notify the restaurant will result in a $50 cancellation fee per person in the group.

PARTIES OF 6 OR MORE: If you decrease your party size, let us know 1 day in advance to avoid the $150 per person charge.

We don’t reserve specific tables. You will be seated to the table that is available upon your arrival.

This is the best food I have experienced. All dishes are made from scratch with fresh ingredients. This is a must try in NYC!

We had a wonderful experience! Our dinners were delicious. We had spinach ravioli, eggplant parmigiana, gazpacho, and salads. It was my birthday, and each of us was presented with a unique, lovely dessert, all of which were great. Our waiter, Manolo, was full of personality, attentive but not intrusive. He was really nice, and the entire wait staff was excellent. We will be back!

Everything about this place is great! Manolo (the captain) recites the many specials from A to Z and then (to review) from Z to A. Quite a show! At the end of the day, the most important thing is the food - and it is outstanding. This is my favorite Italian restaurant in New York.

This was a quiet Monday evening with 5 friends. We all had a great meal- 4 of us had Eggplant Parmigiana which was excellent and one of us had the ravioli with burrata with mushrooms (also delicious). We all shared a dessert of Cannoli- excellent as well. Manolo the Maitre D’ was very attentive and took his time waiting on us. Service overall was excellent as well. Our meals were a bit pricey but it is Manhattan.

We were met at the door by the maitre’d, who was attentive to our needs all through the meal. He remembered a long list of specials and later of desserts. Food was amazing! Melazanie was best I’ve had in a long time. My friend had trout and artichokes and loved it. I enjoyed the sea bass. The food, the atmosphere, and the wonderful staff have assured that I will return here on my next visit to New York

San Pietro is one of the jewels of New York City. My wife and I have been going there for over 35 years. You’re always warmly welcomed by both Gerardo the owner, and then Manny who is the maitre d’. The menu has something for everyone and if you like zucchini flowers, delicious pasta, or risotto, and many fish and meat dishes wonderfully prepared, you’re going to be very happy. The menu has many delicious items, and they will prepare for you. Anything on the menu and a manner you prefer. Extensive wine list and a beautiful bar well stocked. The service is one of the most professional in New York, and you are never rushed. We have been there through the good times and the sad times such as after 911 when NYC was in shock and mourning, yet the food and service never varied. We were happy to have supported them when things were tough after that terrorist attack and the restaurant was empty but for a few tables. If you want a great meal and a beautiful dining experience, this is the place to go.

We asked for no garlic on the fish and then we got garlic on the fish. For these prices you should be able to get what you want.
