If you’re coming here for bottomless, turn around. If you’re coming for good food, enjoy!
I love the food here and the prices! I went for brunch on a Sunday and then dinner on a Friday. On Friday our waiter was rude and messed up a few of our orders. We had to wait a while for him to come over to us. Hopefully next time I have a better waiter.
Amazing brunch place! Cheap food & cheap drinks! Staff is very friendly and is on top of refilling drinks! I always come here for brunch (dinner is great too)!
We didn’t get our table until 30 mins after reservation but the food was amazing and excellent value!
This was our fourth time at San Marzano and we were not impressed by the service. It has really taken a hit over the past few years and the waiter was extremely rude. He was also working behind the bar so it seemed he had no time to help / assist our table, which was inconvenient especially when were sat 15 minutes late and immediately told we had to be wrapped up within 1.5 hours exactly.
Staff was very rude and snobby. Food was average, especially the appetizers, which looked like they put as little effort into it as possible. It was hard to track down the staff to get drink refills even though we were there for bottomless drinks. The staff must have said at least 4 times that they were swamped with people. Don't book so many reservations if you cannot handle it. They were very eager to kick us out of the table as soon as we were finished eating, and we were a 10 person party so it was not exactly like we weren't giving them business. The wine was good though when it actually came, but it was a celebratory birthday dinner and having rude staff rush you through your one night off with your friends is not exactly how you want to enjoy a dinner. Sorry next time I will just drink wine at home.
Great pasta. Good group pricing
Table by the door FREEZING because front door check closes SLOWLY.
Ridiculous policy to charge us for 7th person who cancelled when they had set us up at a six Person table to begin with
Amazing experience with a group of 12 people. Our waitress was amazing. Our food was delicious and we had a great time! Highly recommended
Fab place , great service and food was Ace!!!! For an hour and half of booze, starters and main it's amazing quality and would highly recommend!
Always love San Marzano! Great food for the price you’re paying, perfect for large groups.
Great prix fixe dinner deal and great food. It’s just so loud in there it’s hard to have conversations
The food was great value for the price - Can't beat a $27 bottomless brunch that includes an entree (you can get pasta!). I will say that they are in dire need of a vestibule out front because we just kept getting cold air blown at us the whole meal as people came in and out, my friends even had to leave their coats on.
Kind of expensive for pasta dishes but it was a nice bday tread
Host was rude. Rushed us.
I’ve been to San Marzano many times before but I do NOT recommend making a reservation before going. They require you to pay the prix fixe prices, even though the food is exactly the same as on the normal menu. These prices are about double the price you’d normally pay when you order off the menu. Ridiculous that they require such thing.
everything was great! the hostess was a little oblivious to parties waiting for a table but other than that I would definitely come again !
Service was awful. The bottomless brunch was not good bc they don’t refill your glass for so long.
Great food - Excellent valmue ! Forstå Claus service :-)
..prefixed menu was too pricey
We went for my brother’s and future sister in laws combined bachelor/ bachelorette party. There were 18 of us and our server / all the staff were fantastic! He made sure we had enough wine, beer and sangria. We had to go off the prefix menu because we were such a large group but since it included family style apps, wine/beer/sangria, and an entree for each person, it ended up being very worth it! And most importantly the food and pasta was truly excellent. It is all homemade and delicious. Our food also came out fairly quickly considering we were a large group ordering 18 pasta dishes. I want to come back as soon as possible!!!
Food was very poor (beware of the brunch menu items). Service was relatively good and efficient.
Our server was so rude to us. The food was fine, but we would not come back again.
Worst ever - rudest waiter because we are young. Good food but not worth ever going to with a group - you’ll be treated like dirt. Honestly one of the worst dinner experiences ever ( forced 4 person + gratuity when our waiter deserved -10% for being so rude). Honestly avoid this place. The pasta you can cook is 10x better
Made a reservation for 2:00pm, showed up at 1:50, and did not get seated until 2:30pm. They still required us to do the prefix menu even though our reservation timing was not honored.
We found a bug in one of our drinks. The food was mediocre (at BEST). The drinks were very watered down. Service was slow.
Worst experience, and no one in the party will be returning.
Our server was great! The food and bottomless mimosas were amazing for the price. Definitely a staple now.
Great service! Weak mimosas but for the price it’s okay...
Food was meh and drinks were worse. Not worth the price for pre fix and as others have echoed the tip being added on after the fact and WRITTEN onto the check was quite an annoyance.
Terrible service and the staff was so rude that even know the food was not bad i would never ever go back
First of all this is my first & last time for San Marzano, Not recommended to make reservation for this place. Because if you do you’re forced to order the $45 prefix menu and they forced us to pay for gratuity 20%. I asked her to take off the gratuity because there were no notice or warning in their menu, Open Table or even on the website. The manager said “WE CAN NOT TAKE OFF THE TIPS BECAUSE IT’S A POLICY”
I’m not mad or upset but the way you guys treated us is really shady. This is disrespectful and rude
I understand we need to tip for the service and the servers want tips to pay their bills in New York City but this is robbery. TLDR: Our server is pretty nice and kind but the system sucks
I was told that the reservation I made through opentable was an error so we had to wait over 2 hours to be seated. Don’t make a same day reservation on opentable for this restaurant! Once we sat, it was 25 minutes before a server came over and at that point there was only 35 minutes left for brunch service. Food was very good and their brunch deal is amazing but overall disappointing because of the experience. Make sure to book in advance!
Great service, though it takes them a while to refill bottomless mimosas. The deal is amazing though, you get a ton for $27 bottomless mimosa brunch.
We waited over an hour to be seated with a reservation - our reservation was at 12p and did not sit until 1:15p. Our party was seated well after multiple smaller parties that arrived to the restaurant after us. We were made to stand outside in the heat while waiting for our table. No apologies or compensation were offered to us. Would not go back to this spot.
awesome food, experience and prices. but my god was our waiter rude and snarky.... dennis is his name....
The service was a little odd. I specifically asked the hostess to tell the servers to hide the cake I bought to be served at the end of our entree as a surprise for my girlfriends birthday. The server brought the cake with the box in a bag out to the table and asked me if it was anyone’s birthday. Again, this was supposed to be a surprised and that was not at all subtle or acceptable. The food was pretty good and had nothing to really say about it
Came here 6 months ago and loved it but came back last weekend and it was an absolute disaster. Food came out in like 15 min—not trying to rush through the meal. Service was poor and not enjoyable.
This place is a scam. There's no other word for it.
FIRST - I placed a reservation for 8 people and two people fell sick the morning of, we arrived at the restaurant and informed them we were just 6 in the end. They sit us to the table already set up - they was NO room for 8 people, and VERY restricted for 6. They still charged me $20 for the no-show.
SECOND - With reservations, there's a flat-fee brunch of $27 - gets you unlimited mimosas, a basket of pastries for the table and an entree. When adding up the actual cost of the items we ordered, it actually added up to $20 per person. So not only they charge $20 for the no-show but they made an additional $7 per head.
THIRD - The mimosas tastes like cardboard - truly disgusting - the basket of pastries is actually made of BREAD and a cut-up frozen croissant, and the food had no presentation whatsoever and seemed like it was cooked by children in the kitchen.
FINALLY - The hostess was wearing a shirt letting her entire belly out. We're in a restaurant, it is completely unsanitary and truly repulsive to have someone's stomach's sweat on your menu, silverware, tables, etc. PLUS - truly unkind, no smile, cold greetings..
DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
The mimosas were like 90% juice but other than that fantastic prices for really really good food!!!
Every reservation had to wait at least 30 mins for their table. Management did nothing to compensate us for this. Even though it was bottomless it was difficult to flag down the waiter to get your next drink.
got seated 30 min after our reservation and service wasnt good. have been here before and liked it but no longer coming back
I had a great time for my birthday! Everyone really enjoyed the appetizers and entrees and definitely the unlimited drinks!! What a blast! It was a little noisy but it's a small place and the food is worth it.
