Our first time at San Marzano and it was certainly not our last! It was absolutely fantastic. Food and service were amazing. All of the food tasted so fresh and made in house from appetizers to dessert. Calamari was perfectly breaded with great dipping sauces, Caesar Salad was perfectly dressed with delicious croutons, We had the Chicken Parm w/Spaghetti, Tagliatelle with Ragu and the Pear and Gorgonzola Ravioli. Don't forget to add the Garlic Bread as it was unbelievably great! Cannoli and Tiramisu were both fantastic. Portions are pretty larger across the board but really great price for what you get. The new manager Brian was great to ask us how everything was and explain that he just started and is checking on things to make sure it's where they need to be. Our waiter as well was great and very attentive. The one minor thing was it needs a little but of umph in the ambiance department. It needs some art on the walls, something to soften it a bit, the large communal table needs to go (it was empty the entire meal) because it makes the restaurant look like it was empty even though it wasn't and then there is this huge open space inside the door where they need to add a host desk. As of now, there is no host desk and they are just kind of floating at the front door. Easy fixes to the atmosphere would add a ton to the energy of the space. Support this place, it's really worth it! It's a tad off the beaten path and I know how Dallasites are with that but find it and go NOW!!!

The food was wonderful! Honestly the best eggplant Parmesan I’ve ever had! Service was great. Dessert was delicious!

Enjoyed eating at San Marzano as usual. Service was stellar and the food was delicious! I ate the buratta and rigatoni maialino - loved both! We found pleasure in eating outside this time - pleased with the ambience inside and outside

Food is very good. Pasta was great. Everything else was poor. Service was non-existent. Manager was nowhere to be found. This is a place where the owner probably showed up on the first day and hasn’t been back since. I give this place 6 months

Had a great dinner at San Marzano while visiting Uptown Dallas. Food, drinks, service & the place itself were all on point.

Great value for the money. Food was good but not great. There’s better Italian in Dallas but the price point was good. The pasta was overcooked. The server only recommended the popular items as opposed to the really good, original items on the menu. Don’t tell me what everyone else is ordering. Tell me what the chef would order.

As soon as they get curtains so the sun is not in the area we were, that will be great. It’s a loud place, but the location , food and drinks were good and we had fun.

The food was amazing! The environment is ok, nothing special, one nice thing is it is quite to hear conversation and its not overstimulating-the service was subpar. But the the homemade garlic bread, pesto pasta, and pasta short rib ragu was perfect! Definitely will be back!
