Great value for the money. Food was good but not great. There’s better Italian in Dallas but the price point was good. The pasta was overcooked. The server only recommended the popular items as opposed to the really good, original items on the menu. Don’t tell me what everyone else is ordering. Tell me what the chef would order.

As soon as they get curtains so the sun is not in the area we were, that will be great. It’s a loud place, but the location , food and drinks were good and we had fun.

The food was amazing! The environment is ok, nothing special, one nice thing is it is quite to hear conversation and its not overstimulating-the service was subpar. But the the homemade garlic bread, pesto pasta, and pasta short rib ragu was perfect! Definitely will be back!

We went here on a Saturday at 3:15pm. There was only two other tables there. Our waiter was cold and dry. The food was the most bland Italian food I have ever had! The crab cakes were burned with chunks of celery in it. The arancini was fine in texture but again very very bland. I had the shrimp scampi with Pappardelle pasta supposedly in a lemon garlic butter wine sauce. I tasted absolutely nothing. Husband had spaghetti and meatballs. He hated it and he eats pretty much anything. The kids had chicken parmesan panini and it didn’t go over well. We also ordered garlic bread that was so overpowering it could have taken out the entire cast of Twilight. $162 later plus tip, we were starving. Needless to say we will not be back.

Took my team for a group luncheon and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambience. Only think id add are more wine selections and maybe some additional staffing. Our waiter was the only one in the restaurant and while he did a great job it did slow things down a bit. We will be going back for the pasta!

Drove an hour to the location and they placed us in a spot where the sun was right on us unfortunately couldn’t move tables as they said they were full. All the flies were hovering over us directly at this location because they were attracted to the light. Literally the table next to us was watching trying to swat flies everywhere. The food was great and the server was great, and I did receive an email from the manager I am assuming that said they would like to give me a better experience and they were taking care of this specific table where there is no blinds to close to protect you from the sun. Our reservation was basically 5:30 when the sun was still shining bright. Even the waiter mentioned this seat to us and told me I’m taking one for the team by sitting in this location…. That was unfortunate.

My husband had Chicken Pamesian and I had Bolognese w/Ricotta cheese. Both were delectable. My only advice is the portion size. For the lunch menu, these were HUGE. Easily split would be more than enough for two people. I didn't see lunch menu option at a cheaper price but, definitely something I think Management should consider. Lunch time might not give you the option of having a fridge to put leftovers in. That would be a huge waste imo. Again, San Marzano should definitely be put on your list of places to eat! Lastly, Muffin was our waitress, she was great!

Oh my goodness, I couldn't love this restaurant more! The ambiance is contemporary with warm lighting. Intimate setting for a romantic evening; yet lively enough to be enjoyed with friends. I enjoyed the Italian margarita, the burrata and homemade rigatoni Maialino. All of it was delicious!

Brenda, thank you for the kind words. We’re so happy to hear you enjoyed the ambiance, the cocktails, and the Maialino. Whether it’s date night or dinner with friends, we’ll be ready to welcome you back anytime. -Josh
