We mentioned in our reservation that it was a special birthday celebration and my husband even mentioned it to the mgr and waiter. Waiter completely overlooked and so after we ordered dessert and ate it, he did a celebration for a table nearby. My husband reminded him and he decided to bring a concoction of a dessert with a candle. An embarrassment! He should have either taken the dessert off the bill or offered a sherry or champagne. Awful! We didn’t order an inexpensive meal either! My 70 th birthday!

Our experience at Santa Cruz was fine, but not great. The service people seem to ignore us for quite a bit of time. The food was good, but I would not recommend.

Belachelijk snel weg gewerkt !!! Kreeg mijn voorgerecht al voordat mijn fles rosé was opengemaakt ,, Had mijn voorgerecht nog niet op toen werd mijn hoofdgerecht al geserveerd!!! Ze wilden gewoon snel de tafel weer vrij hebben, Toen zag mijn vrouw ook nog een haar in haar pasta , heb toen maar afgerekend, en de rest van de rosé laten staan !

The restaurant was exceptionally well appointed. However, the maître D manager, that was there as we walked in when the place was open, was on the phone and kept asking us to come back before being seated, even though we had arrived at 5 PM . Normal business hours . As a restaurant was nearly vacant, we asked to be seated up in the second level so that we may look down upon the beautiful restaurant and out the window at the old Santa Cruz streets . The manager was visibly upset that we requested a seat in that area and tried to place us in the corner on the first floor . The wait staff was poor at best as they did not discover we both spoke Spanish and understood how they were speaking about us as customers in a negative manner. The young waitress kept rolling her eyes and smiling as she’s trying to accommodate us after she realize we understood what she was saying.. I will never go back to this restaurant. There’s too many beautiful restaurants in. Sevilla . Please take your money elsewhere. They don’t deserve it. . I’m 20 years in customer service and owned my own restaurant for a period of time and I have never felt so humiliated really affected my evening . Disgraceful.!

We made a reservation for right when they open but they stuck us upstairs in a corner. Food was good especially the spaghetti carbonara. Service was excellent.
