   The service was excellent and waiters were attentive and went out of their way to please. Food was very good and they were even able to prepare the bolognese without dairy. My only complaint is white wine should be chilled. It was completely warm and we had to wait for the bottle to chill over half-hour. I would definitely return but hope this time the wine is chilled or I will not accept the bottle. Good find in Astoria.

   Good food, great service, nice neighborhood find. I had the lamb chops which were delicious but they were too thinly cut. If they were cut to average thickness ( 3/4") this dish would have been perfect. The staff was very attentive, charming and professional. Our overall experience was very good and worth a return visit.

   Joe's Prime Steakhouse is not a steakhouse. It is an Italian restaurant, and not a very good one. We ordered a glass of wine from the wine list - tasted like vinegar. Salads had no dressing. The bread was only ok. Pasta was so overcooked that it was gummy and stuck together. This is an old Italian place that has been there for years. Tired and dull. Don't bother.

   This is not Joe's Steakhouse anymore. It seems that restaurant want out of business and another restaurant took it over. You should check and see what is going on. They were very nice by it is not a steakhouse, it is now northern Italy. Was not decorated for the holidays and if you did not know that it was New Years Eve this would have been any other Saturday night.
