Service and ambience were nice, but unfortunately, the food quality was off. Lobster bisque had more of a carrot/butternut squash saucy taste; lasagna lacked pasta layer textures - perhaps too much ricotta - had the texture of a holiday stuffing; halibut needed seasoning; seafood in the seafood linguine was fresh and plentiful, but needed something - perhaps more seasoning to bring out the flavor; pork tenderloin was perfectly cooked and the sauce/cabbage was flavorful. I applaud the chefs for that since pork frequently gets dry - it was the best food of the night; tiramisu was bland. Limoncello and grappa were very small pours; sambuca was good but usually it's served with 3 coffee beans. Prices were high for the poor food quality. Sorry for the bad review, but maybe it was an off night for the food. It's a lovely neighborhood restaurant. Servers were very friendly.

Wonderful meal and wonderful waiter and staff. I highly recommend this restaurant. I’ll be back next time. I’m in DC.

A top 5 meal we’ve ever had in DC. Zucchini flower appetizer, tortelli and branzino specials for dinner, and mango gelato for dessert. Excellent cocktails as well. Can’t wait to be back.

I’ve been in DC for 4 years and this was one of my favorite meals, I will be back! Separate from dinner they have the most delicious lunch sandwich specials

Service was horrible, waiter was slow and irritated and bothered, he was distracted. Food was mediocre, too salty, and pasta overcooked. Soup was bland

Small but mighty. A nice neighborhood gem I didn’t know existed. High quality Italian if a little on the spendy side. Would definitely go back though.
